Guest pin without fingerprint - Honor 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
i just wanted to setup the guest mode pin.
Is it possible to create the pin but do not associate a fingerprint with guest mode?
this just makes no sense.

You can just set one of your spare fingers as the guest fingerprint, then give the guest the pin to unlock..

WPA2 Enterprise network help

I'm trying to get my x10 to work on a WPA2 Enterprise network. I have my own unique username and password but im not sure what to fill in. Every setting is already preset, however the following are blank and i don't know what to fill in.
Private key password

Do I have to fill in all the blanks? which blanks do i put my username and password?
Not all EAPs are supported. Are you connection to an eduroam network? I've been trying and the EAP is not supported.

[Q] Bypass Exchange pin requirement?

If an Exchange server requires a PIN code set, is there a way to bypass having to enter it every time you unlock?
I assumed there would be a hack for it or something.
Even a jailbroken iPhone can do it

[Q] Help needed before unlocking SIM!

I bought an Atrix that was sparingly used for two weeks locked to AT&T. I will be using it in India and have just ordered for an unlock code from cellunlock.
I want help to ensure I don't make the same mistakes some people have that might cause the Wi-Fi issue.
A motoblur account has already been created by the previous owner and i get the screen "Sim card is removed or changed , log into Motoblur to unlock".
I only have emergency call, set up APN, set up wi-fi and IMEI number as my options.
The wi-fi is connected at home to my router but I cant seem to access any browser -- everything leads me only to one screen which is the motoblur account screen as mentioned above.
I hence created a new Motoblur account on Motorola but I cannot log in -- " Username or Password incorrect"
(i) How do I use the new Motoblur account I created ? Should I ask the previous owner for his Motoblur username and password and then unlock it after receiving the unlock code from cellunlock ? (Read about IMEI# being tied to Motoblur)
(ii) Do I unlock it first after putting in my new sim and unlock code from cellunlock and then hard-reset the phone to enable my Motoblur account?
I want to be doubly sure to ensure I dont make any mistakes. The phone is with me in India and any pointers would be greatly appreciated
Update: Successfully unlocked using cellunlock code but still face problem of "Sim Card is changed or removed"
The indian Carrier Airtel is shown on the right top corner and the phone shows I'm connected to my homes netgear wi-fi but I can't access any browser.
I tired Hard resetting it as mentioned in one thread but it got stuck after choosing the Android Recovery selection -- A yellow triangle and Android logo appeared but nothing happened after Tapping the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Do i contact the original user of the phone for his motoblur Id?
Please help me guys.

[Q] SIM PIN

Hello All,
I recently rooted my ATT SGS2 and now it doesnt allow me to set a pin for the sim.
"Lock SIM card" under "Set up SIM card lock" is diabled and when I try to check it, it asks me a pin and when I enter some pin it says its a wrong pin. It only has 4 or 5 attempts and now I have only one attempt left. What is happening here. Any ideas?
I am unable to post link.
I just picked up my S2 last week and just started exploring this very thing. I thought it would be good to lock my SIM but, when I clicked on to use a pin and then change pin, it asks me for the old pin which I don't have. It went from 5 attempts left to one, even though I only entered one pin thinking I was setting it up. Now I'm afraid to touch it and I can't deselect the "Lock SIM Card" checkmark without entering a pin. I'm so confused. I've searched in XDA about it, but can't find anything.
Any gurus out there that might be able to help a twit that was smart enough to leave BB and come to Android?

Most likely its all 0's zeros.. that's what all my cell phones uses by default.
so if you purchased the phone brand new never used then 99% all zero's
Well, doing a little more searching and a -lot- more reading, I discovered that the 8 digit code is under your cell phone account at your carrier's site. I went to ATT, found the PUK code (eight digits). That's the pin. You enter that first, then you can change the pin to whatever you like. I opted to leave it alone.

Can't activate device after unlock

Just unlocked my Poco. Since an account is associated with it, I need to unlock it. To unlock it I need to be connected to Internet. When I select my wifi network there is no keyboard to type a password. I have no service on Poco and recovery number was set to this phone number so I can't remove the device from Xiaomi account.
Any ideas?
Edit: Ok so I typed wifi pass in activate device input and copied it to wifi pass input. It connected, but to activate account I need mobile data. I have SIM card inside but no service. I have set a pin on SIM card maybe thats why?
I had same issue during associating phone with an account. I couldn't log in from my phone to mi account. Had to disable wifi and enable mobile data. Pretty autistic.
Ran into exactly same problem ?.
Put sim in another phone, enter pin, and receive unlock code for two step verification. Request unlock code on poco f1 over wifi.
I solved wifi problem by setting up open wifi network.
Yeah, drove to a friend who has phone with nano SIM card (my old one has micro) and managed to activate with his SIM card. I think I had no service because I had pin set up on SIM card while he didn't have pin set up.
Anyway problem solved
