xmultiwindow and xhalofloatingwindow modules not working on Redmi Note 2 - Redmi Note 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
is anyone got these two modules properly working on their redmi note 2?
I have installed xposed module for floating windows (xhalofloatingwindow) but it is not working its just opening up normally in full schreen.
I installed stabile global rom
flash supersu
flash xposed framework v78
install xposed APK
modules download via exposed :
-XMultiWindow
-xhalofloatingwindow
install Multiwindow Sidebar apk
Give popup permissions to XMultiWindow and xhalofloatingwindow
Open MultiWindowSidebar app and select App Launch Mode - XMultiWindow/xhalofloatingwindow.....
xmultiwindow is also not working
The half schreen is aways black just one app show and the second half of window is black and if i drag second app to the second half od the window the first half of the window get black.
any idea how to get these two modules properly working on redmi note 2

You are sure that those modules are compatible with MIUI? If not you need to use AOSP
~ Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime ~

I will try on AOSP rom but as far as I know these two modules xhalofloatingwindow and xmultiwindow work correctly on mi3, Redmi Note Pro and Redmi Note MIUI6 / 7,I'm not sure why these modules do not work with Redmi Note 2 it may be the miui or modules themselves I have no idea really.

same results on cm 12.1 rom.... xhalofloatingwindow opening up in full schreen and xmultiwindow is also not working half black schreen again
last chance AOSP

Xposed installer for MIUI 9 7.9.22

Has anyone installed Xposed installer successfully on their Redmi 3S prime?
I have tried, followed this link
http://http://en.miui.com/thread-78894-1-1.html
installed it somehow but Xposed installer was not active.

Ccan't find Xposed Framework for MIUI 9.2.4 on Redmi Note 3 (Marshmallow 6.0)?

I recently updated my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI 9.2.4 based on Marshmallow. I managed to install SuperSU (SR3-SuperSU-v2.82-SR3-20170813133244) but I am unable to find correct Xposed framework. I tried Xposed-v87-sdk23-arm64-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20161126, but it causes bootloops.
Can anyone please help me find Xposed Framework for MIUI 9.2.4 on Redmi Note 3 (Marshmallow 6.0)?
Please help!
Thanks in advance.
Hey, you could try Magisk in your phone. After flashing it you will automatically get the app in drawer and after that get into downloads and search for xposed, there you will many different sdk versions, above all of them there is one without any versions. Flash it and reboot.
Hope that will work for you.:good::good:
Hello, Dont flash older miui8 versions. There is a latest zip from Solarwarez to work xposed on miui9 based on marshmellow. you can find in this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/news-official-xposed-nougat-7-0-7-1-t3685700
MIUI 9 based on Marshmallow by @SolarWarez:
System: xposed-v87.1-sdk23-arm64--MIUI9-edition-by-SolarWarez-20170612
Systemless (Magisk): xposed-v87.1-sdk23-Magisk-MIUI9-edition-by-SolarWarez-20170612_mod+us3r
Working in my rn3 without any bootloops

RN3P (Kate): Global Stable MIUI 9 + Magisk + Xposed (which version?)

I just upgraded my Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition (Kate) to Global Miui 9 (V9.2.3.0.MHRMIEK).
I was able to install Magisk 16 via TWRP flash.
I tried to install Xposed via the Material Design Xposed Installer by DVDAndroid, but it just gets stuck on boot (on the MI splashscreen).
What version of Xposed should be used? It's MIUI9, obviously 64bit for our phone, but still Marshmallow.
Thanks!

Official Xposed might not work with MIUI. You might have to use the modified version of Xposed developed by Solarwarez, specifically for MIUI. For marshmallow, the version is sdk23.

Ok, thanks for this!
I'm under the impression I should be installing Xposed using Magisk, is that right? Or should I just find the version using DVDAndroid's Xposed installer app?
Same here buddy
Failed to install exposed after this upgrade
It stops on the miui bootscreen for horus
Tried even different exposed versions like 87.1 87.2 nothing works.... I wonder why not this upgrade

Are you having problems flashing Magisk?
I used ZCX-Twrp, and had no problems flashing Magisk. If you're having problems, try to flash the Magisk uninstaller and try again.
