Problems with my S6 Edge - Need help please - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I just got a Galaxy S6 Edge, and it's near perfect, it's so smooth, no lag at all, battery life is okay. What I like more about it is the fast charge capability, I use the fast charger that came up with the phone and it charges blazing fast. But what I noticed is that the phone gets hot when I'm fast charging, even when the screen is off. Battery temperature reaches 35°, so I wanna know, is 35° a normal temperature that won't affect my battery life or damage my phone? And is it at all normal for the phone to become a little bit hot when fast charging?

Also, I have another problem with the phone's signal, it is mostly low, only 1 bar in some place (like my home I always have 1 bar when I'm 3G/LTE), I put on 2G to get all bars, the problem is not with my sim or provider because I used to get a really good signal at my phone when I was using my Nexus 5, LG G3, OnePlus 2 and iPhone 6s. Is there something I can do to improve the phone's signal reception? (like flash another radio or something), I'm fully rooted.
I'd appreciate it if I got these questions answered from me since I wasn't able to find anything relevant to this while searching on Google.
Thanks guys

[Q] is this a battery issue? or...

I have been having this problem with multiple roms. When my phone crashes and boots sometimes it comes up and tells me to connect to my charger and the battery is at less than 5%. If I reboot it, it comes back up normal. sometimes I have to reseat the battery.
I cleaned the battery connection and I haven't had any trouble yet.. but I haven't had any crashes since then either. I bought my phone on day one so I guess it could just be a bad battery? Anyone else seen this? In the pic you can see it happened twice.

Bro, there are a lot of better ways to rack up your post count then spamming multiple threads with "Thanks you!"...
Anyways Dr.Stainedglove, I remember someone with a similar issue a while back. Turned out to be a battery issue. Not sure if that's what caused your issue but if the phone starts acting up again I would suggest you look into a new battery. You can get a 1800mAh batteries (400mAh bigger then our stock batteries) for pretty cheap. See here.
Sure looks like it

Thanks.. I may end up getting one of those epic batteries even if I dont have anymore issues. Since cleaning the connections its been working fine.

[Q] screen consuming to much battery? phone u20

Hi I have a question, is normal that our devices eat so much battery, having the brightness in 0% ?

I think the battery statusbar is wrongly coded... I have the same results as well all the time.. Even when I don't using the screen (during night), the statusbar still shows up about 30% battery consumption...
The thing that affect battery drain the most is 3G mobile data communication in my opinion, because just turing it off, the phone got juiced up for more than 3 times as usual...

Not only turning off the 3g internet, but using for calls as well. that is why i started a discussion thread for that matter but no one seemed to respond to that. maybe it was too large to read??

Saw your thread, but I'm not that sure how I would comment or respond :X, as there doesn't seem to be any solution to fix it.

Don't think i've calibrated my battery correct?

Ok so i've tried to calibrate my battery,
I let the phone run down to 0%, then i charged it to 100%, loaded up CWM and reset the battery stats in advanced menu, I then let the phone run down to 0% and charged again (done this twice). Yet my battery still seems to be draining a lot quicker than i thought it would, does this seem normal from the battery stats:

check ur network loss on that graph, its huge.. atleast 2 or 3 hours.. that consumes A LOT of battery..
That's correct, that big red no signal graph means a lot of battery being drained.
Have you been underground, like in a basement or metro station, or in a rural area, or did you leave the phone under your pillow while sleeping? You know, that kind of stuff. If not, then consider reflashing, that much of no signal bar it's not normal in my book.
That 2 - 3 hours loss would probably be when i was at work, it's inside a building that doesn't get a lot of signal but it was sitting right beside a network booster.
Probably also due to the fact that the network is Three and signal isn't too good around this area for it but im waiting on my unlock code coming from Three so i can move back to giffgaff
Off topic : You answered my thread yesterday stating that your bootloader unlock allowed status was no. May I ask how you've managed to install CWM recovery?
Sorry for going off topic
Kind Regards..

[Q] Battery hit 55c, is my Samsung GS3 damaged?

I woke up this morning sat up and grabbed my phone off my nightstand like I do every morning and dropped it instantly, it was extremely hot. I turned on the screen and saw that my batter was scolding 55c it's normally 27 - 29c when I check it throughout the day. I am really concerned about the longevity of my battery and phone. Was the battery hot enough to permanently damage any of the components? Is the battery safe to use or is it ruined? There doesn't appear to be any swelling.
This is the battery I have and the case I am using. http://www.ianker.com/product/70SMI9300-B1B72A/859

Wrong forum, check the very first thread.
Sounds like your battery is going to rupture, throw it away now.

Right, like i'm going to throw away a brand new $40 battery. Where else would I post this? It's a Q and fits under Help. I also searched Google for at least an hour and couldn't find any good information pertaining to the safe temp range.
Like the man said you are in the wrong forum .
You have I9300 or not see sticky top of the page .
Test battery if it swells then do not use it .

SM-G925F Battery problem

Hello guys, i recently bought a Galaxy S6 Edge and I'm like at about 3rd charge. I've unplugged the charger at 100% (after all night charge), I got 95% left after 19min (on screen time) browsing the Internet on Wi-Fi. What to do?
That seems normal to me. The battery life on the S6E is pretty poor compared to other phones I've had. The Marshmallow update has made it a little better but it's still not amazing.
its not normal ,,, get rooted and save battery

I have had my S6E for about a week now and I've also noticed that the battery drops fast.
What benefits to battery life is root going to give me, I have no incentive to root anymore.
I've rooted every device I have owned and I come from Android 2.1, so i am seasoned in root and the benefits that it used to pose.
Get rooted and save battery? I am rooted and haven't yet found a battery saving con, I mean app, that actually does anything. Even Greenify was greatly disappointing.
Having come from an Xperia Z1 it was quite a shock to see how bad the battery on the S6E is. I used the Z1 in exactly the same way as the S6E but the Z1 battery would last around 2 days. My S6E needs charging twice a day, minimum! Sony's Stamina mode needs porting lol
