Hi Everybody
I have a 2006 Ford Fiesta and I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy J1. When I search for my cars' Bluetooth, it doesnt pick up anything. I also tried searching with a Samsung Galaxy S4, but it is the same story. It doesnt find anything.
Any advice?

Hi,
I have just got my new Galaxy S2 today and I'm very pleased with it!
I'm wondering if it's possible to use the device as a bluetooth headset for things like Skype on my PC - is that possible?
use skype also on the phone, you can keep both open and answer only winth one, like the gs2 and chat with pc
I would have a similar question.
I have a private phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S2 and a company phone. Both have bluetooth and are paired.
Is it possible to use the Galaxy S2 as a headset for my company phone? So that I can have my company phone in my notebook bag or somewhere near but I would be able to answer calls with my Samsung Galaxy S2?
Here's the problem I'm having, wasn't able to find any other answers on here via searching here or other sites.
I'm unable to actually 'pair' via bluetooth my samsung galaxy tab 10.1 (16gb wifi only) with my samsung galaxy s2 (att version) . Now each device recognizes one another, but they don't actually connect. I can go through the motions and hit accept whatever code, but then I get nothing. Try to force it to connect, nothing.
I actually tried to pair an 8.9 tab with an S2 in the att store via bluetooth. I would say that I was able to replicate it (i.e. it still didn't work), but given all the other devices and the extended range I wouldn't call it a successful recreation.
Why don't they pair? Is any one else able to get their s2 and tab 10.1 to pair? Maybe it's just an att thing? Tech support figured it was a defect in my phone and it just needed a hard reset. I decided to do the test before wiping everything and starting fresh.
PLEASE HELP!
so it seems I'm not the only one with this issue (not sure if good or bad thing)
Found this thread on another site: http://www.mygalaxytab.net/samsung-...etecting-and-pairing-problem/msg5751/#msg5751
The most interesting part of that was this, "I was told that Samsung will not push this as an update."
So are we just stuck then? I'm not too happy about that.
I called samsung and they have no knowledge of this issue with my particular devices. I didn't realize that other devices had basically stopped working: http://www.galaxytabforums.net/foru...luetooth-other-devices-galaxy-tab-10-1-a.html
Any one out there having luck pairing their tab and phone via bluetooth to transfer files and whatnot?

i have tried pairing GTab 10.1 with SG2 with no issue. first try to identify which device has issue GTab or SG2. try to connect your GTab with any other bluetooth mobile.
I had never tried before, but just paired my GTab 10.1 wifi only with my GS2 International model. Paired just fine and was able to send a photo from my phone to the tab.
Have paired my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Galaxy y without any problems. Transferring files etc. I am using basically the micro sd card of my Galaxy y as an external storage for the tab.
Using stock 3.1 in tab and rooted 2.3.5 in Galaxy y
thanks for the feedback guys.
I'll pairing with my boss's epic in a bit, but for kmaq: what s2 do you have? If att version, is it the stock rom?
I'm wondering if this is AT&T's doing rather than the devices themselves.
I'm also going to stop by an AT&T store later with my tab to test my phone/tab with their phone/tabs.
EDIT: If I take my tab to an ATT store and can't pair it with a new/different s2, but the tab can successfully pair with another phone then for sure it's a software issue? What would be my next move if that's the case?
UPDATE:
Tried pairing my tab with a bunch of other devices to try and rule out my phone, and now I'm not sure if my results are helpful or not.
So this list is what I paired with my tab and results.
samsung epic 4g (sprint) - NO
samsung galaxy s2 (att in-store working unit) - NO
Motorola atrix 2 (att) - YES
Motorola Droid Razr (verizon) - YES
LG phoenix? (att) - NO
HTC Inspire (att) - NO
Summary, my tablet can pair AND connect via bluetooth with motorola phones. Which explains why it would pair with my friend's droid x in the past.
So what does this mean? Should I factory reset my tablet to try the bluetooth fix?* If that doesn't work, then am I going to have to send it in for repairs/evaluation?
Please let me know what you guys think, because I'm going to call samsung tech support tomorrow and see what they say.
*EDIT: the hard reset did nothing, and samsung tech support filed a claim for 'tier 2' support.
can anyone help?
I have Galaxy GT-1900 and my partner has a Galaxy 2 GT19100T, I paired the 2 mobiles last night, on my partners galaxy 2 it says "PAIRED" on my galaxy it says "paired but not connected" and I can't work out how to get them to work properly. I have another bluetooth connection on my galaxy and when I touch that one it states it is connecting but if I do the same thing to my partners connection it doesn't do anything. Can someone please help me and tell me what I have to do to get my mobile to connect up so it works, as I am not into mobile phones that much and have no idea. Please HELP ME
I'm having trouble with connecting the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925F) with Android (5.0.2) with my Audi Q7 2009 Bluetooth, it works fine with the Galaxy S5.
I assume it's due to the old Bluetooth v1 protocol in the Audi (no streaming music).
I've tested with a Bluetooth v4 speaker, that's fine.
The issue itself is that it pairs but then goes in to some weird loop of connecting/disconnecting, it never actually becomes usable with the Audi.
Any help appreciated.
Same problem here with Audi A6 2005. The funny thing is that it worked to a certain extent before the update that came a few weeks ago. Before that update it would crash if I used OK Google feature to call a number but otherwise it was OK.
similar problem, different car http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/pair-s6-edge-to-acura-tl-trusted-t3102146
Has anyone on this forum managed to pair these two devices together?
I have tried samsung gear manager and android wear app none have worked.
As far as i know my phone is incompatible.
Can't help with the Samsung gear live, but my wife uses the Samsung gear Fit, and I use the Moto 360. Neither of us have had any trouble pairing our watches with the S6 Edge.
Try doing a factory rest on the watch. It fixed mine. Was previously paired to an S5, refused to pair with S6 Edge+. This was also the recommendation from Samsung. It takes a while to finish though.
