Bricked S2 can't connect to PC/Odin - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After flash via cm recovery other rom I bricked my I91000. I must flash new rom via Odin but my phone is not detect. Any sugestion what I can do?
I tried on odin 1.85 & 3.10.7 windows10

Hi,
Did you check your phone was on download mode? Is the correct drivers installed? Is your cable damaged? Did you try to reinstall the drivers in device manager by deleting the current driver and letting windows download and install it again?
Also, I would recommend using ODIN 3.09 or 3.07 since these two versions seem to work best on S2's.

Try using another USB port. It usually works when you do that.

Soft bricked GS3,how do I flash stock ROM using linux ?

I was formatting my phone's internal storage in TWRP recovery and I accidently wiped my ROM instead of formatting data. Now there's no OS on my phone i.e it's soft bricked.Odin won't detect my phone on my winXP PC,I got the samsung drivers installed and I made sure no kies process is running.I tried mounting the storage in recovery but when I click on it on my PC,it tells me ''please insert a disk''.I wanna try flashing stock ROM using ubuntu but I just don't know how.I know it's by using hemidall but I'm not very experienced with linux.I just need the codes that I have to put in the terminal.
Can you boot in to TWRP recovery? If you can, you could just flash another rom from there. If not i just did a quick search of google for "i9300 flash stock firmware heimdall ubuntu" and came across this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1947975

You can always put a rom on your external sd card (if you have one) just plug it in to an adapter (again, if you have one) and pop it back in the S3. And i bet in future you'll make a back up
Good luck.
Didn't work and I don't have an external SD.Well I guess I'm f***ed :/ NOPE.As I was typing this,I thought about trying to boot my phone while it's connected to the PC and while it was stuck at ''galaxy s3'' logo,it installed additional drivers(I thought all of them were installed) and odin detected my phone.I just saved myself a visit to my other house where my main PC is which I used to do all the flashing stuff before moving here Thanks for your help

There's a program called HeimDall. You can use that to re-flash stock firmware or you can install VirtualBox and Windows on top of that, then you download the stock firmware to the virtual machine and Odin and you can set it to read/write to and from the USB ports
Hope I could help!

First delete all Preinstalled drivers and then connect your phone to Odin wait for sec to recognize it and it will download again all drivers
After that flash Stock Firmware ..
And about that kernel flash its boot.img.zip + Modules by CWM .

Try to install samsung mobile usb driver.
For some reason CWM started to work again so i flashed a new kernel and a Custom Rom so its now working

Stuck in CWM, no bootloader

I am on Samsung Grand Quattro. I have a rooted device. My phone has cwm installed. I tried to backup my existing rom and flash a new one. the new rom was flashed correctly. But now my phone directly boots to cwm. I tried to reflash cwm but my bootloader is not recognized by my PCs. I tried adb to go to bootloader but phone boots only to cwm. Please help me reflash cwm using odin. :crying:
You can either use cwm to flash stock recovery and exit the bootloop or enter on download mode and reflash cwm
Did what u said

And about download mode, have you tried it? Do you know how to enter on this mode, right?
(BTW, are you calling "download mode" bootloader?)
Bootloader is accesible

It can be a problem with your drivers. Have you already installed Kies? This program provides drivers for your device, so Odin will be able to recognize it.
And, well... if you can't enter on download mode, I think you will need to have technical support

just saw ur post buddy. thanks for taking the trouble and helping me out. I fixed my phone just now. I charged it a little. Kept trying to go to bootloader. Once it started i reinstalled the drivers. Voila, bootloader connected. I immediately used odin to flash fresh cwm and my rom that i had already installed started working. Thanks!:good::victory:

[Q] odin does not recognise device

odin is not recognising Galaxy s2.what can I do? I nead to install a custom rom because my stock rom is damaged and recovery is not reading external SD.
Did you update usb drivers? If not, download them from the Samsung web site. Which OS are you using?
Did you try another USB cable or another USB port? And also the drivers.
