Render Effect in Samsung galaxy s3

Hey guys
In my old phone the galaxy ace there was something known as render effect which would change the visual color of the screen.
Is possible to get it in the S3?
I basically need the night mode. I use my phone a lot in the night with zero secondary light hence the screen is too bright even on minimum brightness.
I tried screen filter app... But beyond certain limit you can't read anything on the screen
The night mode + screen filter was my settings during the night to reduce brightness on my old phone.
How can I get it on the S3?
"Render Effect Galaxy Ace" brings up no worthwhile results, so I have no idea what specific effect you're on about, but the app Galactic Night has some effects. If you're running the Siyah Kernel or Perseus, they also support custom mDNIE profiles, so if you have a lot of time...
I just want something that will lower my screen brightness
Similar to screen filter app
With Lux you can lower the screen brightness below the stock minimum (automatically our manually) .
Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vito.lux.free

Works great.
During night time it is very useful it can decrease your brightness to EXTREME LOW.

ONE X+ brightness calibration problem

Hi everybody , I recently replaced lcd and digitizer for my ONE X+ and there is weird problem with brightness. When I change the brightness it looks like has no calibration with new display, because brightness changes in a very little area for example if this is my brightness settings:

How can I resolve this problem?

Is the Power Saving mode enabled? That limits screen brightness by default.

Thank you for response, but it stays in "Highest" mode most of the time and "power saver" usually sets in "Lower".
And no it is not the power saver mode enabled.

Brightness automatically changing even with auto brightness turned off

Hello, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I've had this annoying problem ever since I got this phone in 2017. The screen brightness keeps changing automatically even though I turned off auto brightness.
https://streamable.com/c5q9w
Here is a video example. As you can see, the brightness changes by itself when covering the light sensor, even though auto brightness is set to off. It might be hard to see the difference in the video but it's quite noticeable in real life.
Is there a way to fix this?
