Hi, I have installed the CM13 (6.0.1) on my nexus 5.
The menu Settings of this CM is different from the stock one; it miss the voice "Smart Lock" that has been moved in the menu "Lock screen". I need to restore the Smart Lock option inside the Security section of the menu (because It is needed by the application Mi Fit to add the Xaiomi Mi Band as a trusted device).
I have downloaded and compiled succesfully the source code from the official cm repository but i cannot add the option i want to...
It seems that there is a unique file (SecureSettings.java ) which manages both "Lock screen" and "Security" options, and there is a sort of flag that hides options according to the section...
If there is someone who has experience in android.settings, I appreciate any kind of support
Thx
No one is able to help? damn. I am waiting for this too.

Hi Guys,
I was checking one feature video of Galaxy S3 and found one menu option in settings called 'samsung unlock options', I didnt found on my phone.Does anyone know where to get that?
I noticed when trying to setup custom wake up commands. I video tutorial was advising to go to this option but was not within my phone.
It was in settings - security if you are looking for the same thing?
I guess you mean the "wake in Samsung-unlock" (or whatever the correct translation is) in S-Voice's Settings menu?
How do I fix this? I get "Developer Options are not available for this user" upon entering Developer Options. I can't access pull down menu and recents view.
I have access via debugging and root but don't want to reflash entire system. I suspect it's a bad configured profile, maybe I could create another Owner profile and delete the corrupted one??
I forgot to mention I can't install any apks either.
I believe it is something having to do with android startup wizard but it doesn't seem to exist on my ROM.
While I can't help with your issue having no experience in that department myself, I can clean the thread for you, OP.
Sorry I can't do more.
recently i got a xiaomi 4k projector (not wemax one)
according to some thread, i tried to root this device but fail cuz of enabling "developer options"
the device doesnt really show up an android setting but xiaomi setting only....
is there any way to get into android setting to enable developer option (by clicking kernal info)
thanks for your information!!

Hi!

Did you fix it?
same here...
Go to settings - About - Click on device name several times - You've become a developer
Go to settings - Account & security - Enable ADB
I was able to install apps from phone using ES File Explorer =)
Hi everyone,
Is there any people already used Multiple users in MIUI?
I need to use Multiple android users on my Redmi Note 8T running MIUI 11 very much.
In order to do that I turned off MIUI optimizations and changed build.prop(via unlocking bootloader) to have:
fw.max_users=5
fw.show_multiuserui=1
Also tried adding:
fw.show_hidden_users=1
fw.power_user_switcher=1
I see the "Multiple Users" option in Settings now.
However, when I create New User, finish it's setup process and switch back to Owner,
I can't use this New User anymore. It doesn't let me switch to it again. (Click on "New User" in users list does nothing.)
Also there is no User icon in notification bar menu to switch users.
I have a guess why:
1) MIUI Second Space feature: when I create new user and set up it's profile I constantly see Second Space Icon in the notification bar near battery percentage.
And only way it lets me switch back to Owner is clicking on "Switch" Icon (which was automatically created shortcut at main screen). Clicking Owner in "Multiple Users" menu does nothing.
2) not as plausible as first one but: When I create new user profile it doesn't let me finish the process without setting it's password first. Maybe
Second Space logic somehow can't use new profile password.
Is there any people already used Multiple users in MIUI?
Or maybe someone have any ideas on how to disable Second Space interception of users switch with modifying some prop files or other system files?
I will appreciate any help with this very much.
PS. Also I know there is an option to switch users via running terminal/shell commands, but it's not so convinient to run these commands every time and it requires root.
I prefer to not root the device and try every option I can first.
If there is nothing to do with that, then I am willing to use Lineage OS instead of rooted MIUI.
Thanks for any feedback!
I have the same issues, I add a new user from 'multiple users' in settings, but I have no way of actually switching back and forth between user profiles. Even EMUI allows this, which I never knew was possible up until a few days ago.
Any Updates?
I have same problem.
Is there a fix?
I m also searching for this only...
Is anyone knows this?

FRP Bypass Samsung Galaxy S10 - 100% WORKING!
This method works!! No simcard is need to be inserted, no puk code is need to be used or other crap I have seen on alot of places, this is simple and a very easy way to frp bypass your samsung galaxy 10 without paying money for "pro" tools, this method is so easy so even your grandmother would succeed.
Totally there is three ways that I have found that allows anyone to bypass FRP very easy on the latest firmware (2020-03-14)!
One method is via NFC, the second option is via OTG cable between one android device on android v9.0 and your samsung s10 that is on android v10.0 and the third option is the most easy one so i decided to describe it for you all out there.
0. Turn off the device and remove simcard.
1. Enter recovery mode by keep device off and then press volume up + bixby + power button
2. Wipe cache and do a factory reset and then choose to reboot your device
3. Phone will now start as normal, change language to your prefered language
4. Take a screenshot at welcome screen with power + vol down, you will see "Allow samsung capture to access photos, media and files of your device" - Choose 'Deny' here.
5. Take another screenshot at welcome screen, an extra option that is 'Deny & dont ask again' - Choose this one this time
6. Now, take a third screenshot at welcome screen and you will get a totally different option, You will get a Allow Permission window popup instead now, choose 'Site Settings' here.
7. You will now get into Samsung Capture option, choose to allow permissions for storage if you want to be able to take screenshot, however the important part is to go to Permission option.
8. Now you should see 'Storage, Camera and Microphone, choose Storage' option here and then press on See all apps with this permission
9. Now press on the three dots in upper right corner and choose "Show System" option
10. There is many options you can choose here, let us browse down to "Google Chrome/Chrome" browser - Edit option from Deny to Allow and then press on see all Chrome permissions if you want to start chrome for example.
11. But even more interesting is that you will see settings icon at top, press on 'See all Settings permissions' - In next window just double click the settings icon at top for get to next window and now in down left corner - Choose 'Open' and you're in settings!
12. Scroll to bottom and press on 'about phone' and u will see "Reset" button, press on it to reset settings only and keep your data. (optional)
13. Now you just need download google account manager and add a new account and the old one will be overwritten (use web login in google account manager by pressing in upper right corner when you started account manager). If you want to join System UI just choose system ui in quickshortcutmaker.
quickshortcutmakercan be downloaded from: quickshortcutmaker
Pictures for those who prefer that can be found on my repo, click can be found on my github, click here for visit the repo.
Enjoy your fully unlocked Samsung Galaxy 10 device.

very doubtful about this, is it possible to check the source code?
I don't see how it would work in practice, especially when it is not possible to use mtp commands (at the time of writing it is not possible afaik, not last week when I tried on s23) on the recent android phones
It might work on older models but hardly on today's, tell me more technical details how that tool work please?
