I'm from france and we have a phone for 140 dolls called wiko cink slim, which exist behind the name "fly iq442" in russia or india don't remember.
It's based on MT6577 chipset and i would like to have CM9 running on this device, but no dev in france care about this phone for now.

To compile cm9, must i have the kernel from wiko ? (Translate brand's website)EDIT : I read somewhere Kernel is 3.0.13
Actually, there is no .zip stock rom, so i read last time that to build a rom we need to pick some things in /system, can i do that without the rom, how can i extract the stock rom from the phone ?
Of course there is no device tree on github to compile cm easly
Can someone help me to find a thread or something to help me to compile cm9 for this device (no cm9 rom have been build for a device based on MT6577 chipset, i didn't find on google)

Oui nous avons besoin du noyau. Wiko ne l'a pas libéré. (l'ont ils ?)
De plus il nous faut avoir une clef spécifique pour signer une ROM (et les APK). Car Wiko utilise un "recovery" spécique qui n'install qui des ROM signer avec cette putain de clef ....
Et pour finir le Wiko Cink Slim incorport la langue portugaise du portugal et aussi du brésil.

Yes we need the kernel. Wiko has not released. (Do they have it ?)
We need to have a specific key to sign a ROM (and APK). Wiko uses a "recovery" that specic install ROMs that sign with that "putain" key ....
And finally the Wiko Cink Slim incorport the Portuguese of Portugal and Brazil also.

La puissance sonore de ce téléphone via le casque est très faible, en voiture c'est très compliqué (ROM EEE, Europe).. la note 10 est incroyable pour le son.
Ensuite soc mediatek est efficace mais c'est aussi le plus gros problème, IMPOSSIBLE de changer de Rom comme MIUI EU ou Pixel Experience.
Mon téléphone est déverrouillé.
La meilleure chose pour moi était de supprimer toutes les applications via un logiciel (pas de root):
Si je suis root, pas de mise à jour OTA.
J'ai déjà flashé mon téléphone avec Miflash.

Yes, it's technically possible to switch ROM, but no alternatives actually exist yet. The ROM you linked is the stock ROM, and I'm not aware of any XiaomiEU ROM's based on MediaTek SOCs.

2 types of stock rom are released. Recovery and Fastboot, it would be easier to update the recovery.

Recovery(as indicated by his name) roms are just update or troubleshooting roms while TGZ roms are complete roms.
For example if you have an EEA rom and you want to switch to an Indonesian rom the best is to use Miflash with a Tgz rom.
Tgz have all the image files, which explains their size difference.
