This is a animated clock and weather flash theme, it works only of you have flash installed and a flash today plugin, you can test it working here:

It only has 4 buttons:
- Change between clock and weather (the bottom left buttons)
- Configurations (individual, the top right buttons)
- Update weather (the bottom right button)
To use it:
- Install Flash 7: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/downloads/player.html
- Install ThrottleHTML Today plugin (thank you so much, APBilbo): http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/index.php/the-news/1-latest-news/77-twolfflash (this link seems to gone offline, I've added the cab in the attachments of this post).
- Configure in notepad and copy myConfig.txt to the \Windows\ThrottleHTML folder
- On the today settings select the ThrottleHTML Today plugin.

Everything can be possible in flash, in one way or another.
But without a good flash today plugin my hands are tied.
But "Animated Today" works, or not?!
Animated today allows the use of a flash file in the today screen, but it doesnt allow the swf to connect to the internet, dont know why. So the clock works, the weather doesnt.
Also, it isnt freeware.
This is a example of a today plugin that does exacly what I want:

Just a workaround:
In ThrottleLauncher the Weather-Tab is updated through a MortScript! It reads the google-weather-xml-file and writes this into the registry...The weather-Tab now reads the Registry and shows the Weather!
Maybe you can do something like this! Update the Weather-Information in the Registry or a file on the device and read it with the flash-plugin!

For now I only placed the capital cities from 4 countries, if you want your own city weather:
- Go to: http://netweather.accuweather.com/adcbin/netweather_v2/signup-page1.asp
- Press 'My NETweather'.
- In the 'Choose Location' tab write the name of your city and click 'search'.
- Locate your city and press 'NEXT'.
- In this new page press 'NEXT' again.
- Click the 'I agree to these terms and conditions' square.
- In the 'Web Page Code' text area search for you area code, if you live in the US its just a 5 digit number, outside the US its a long code like 'EUR|PT|PO012|LISBON|'
- Write this code in the 'CUSTOM' tab and click the round button in order to be selected.
The icons arent finished yet, remenber this is a work-in-progress.

You can use a weather plugin's data to update. Most weather plugins update and write the data to a text file... just get it there...
and yet you'll avoid another web connection to update your flash.
but you'll need 3rd app...
...Just what i've said
Edit: Uhm...MortScript isn't a "3rd app"...Its just a tool to execute the source code...But no Memory-Stealing Application!

Have tried Animated Today but it sticks an icon in the tray.
I use UL full screen so the icon stuffs up my screen.

why did you need a today plugin who accepted flash, you can make a flash whith all that is in the today screen i have make a test with your timer ( geet work congratulation for that )
i have include in a flash that i make for test with the operator name and batterie indicator and level bar for the reseption. (it s juste a tes with your code and another code before make in flash for wm7 theme and a bottom bar with 4 shortcuts.
i poste a screenshot, if you are interrested i can participate with you to make an today replacement .

First I have to thank a couple of ppl, whithout whom this plugin would not see the light of day:

This works on Mortscript (that already comes with Titanium Weather) and takes about 160kb or ram on your device.
Contents:
-----------
- First page:
The first page has the skinned clock, small date and the current weather. The weather info and icon is taken from Showaco's Titanium weather. No point on creating a separated weather viewer when that is already perfect.
If a sms or missed call is received the icons and numbers pop-up on the page.
The main button opens a pre-chosen link (in my case Resco Explorer, all this is configurable in the Settings), the bottom right button updates the weather (it takes about 10 secs, so be patient).
If there is a missed call or new message, the main button changes to call history or message app.
Also, if you have any alarms enabled, it will show a icon, but if you have any unread SMS, the ALARM icon is hidden by the SMS icon.
- Second page:
The system bars are on the second page.
The main button opens Memory settings and the right button open Multi Settings , the left refreshes the plugin, if needed.
If your memory card is not named "STORAGE CARD", then you must change it on the settings. The battery icon becomes on fire when its being charged.
- Third page:
The third page is a SMS viewer, with the help of APBilbo's (Throttle Launcher) Message2Reg.exe.
Click to open a menu that lets you see the all the messages/reply/create new message, the left softkey to see the previous and the right button to see the next.
- Fourth page:
A image viewer is on page 4. You need to configure the folder you want to see on the MultiSettings.
Click to open a menu that lets you see the current image/refresh the image list/set image as wallpaper (limites to image size and extension), the left softkey to see the previous and the right button to see the next.
It lists the images on first run (or every time you run the Settings), and it takes some tiem, depending on how many images are there, so be patient.
Please note that bigger images take longer to load. Also, it loads ALL files, so if you have non-image files in there, it will show a red cross instead.
- Condensed view:
The condensed view shows the small weather icon with temperature, the clock (in text view) and the notification icons (if there are any).
The clock, notifications and battery charge icon auto-updates every 1 second. The rest, every 10 seconds.
To use:
------------
- Install Titanium weather (if for some strange reason you havent already and configure your city on it). This also installs Mortscript, that is the base of my plugin.
- Install my attached CAB into your device (if it gives you a error during install, use the attached script-fix made by rPereira.)
- If you are updating, run the Kill_TWolf.mscr script that is on the Acessories folder in Start menu, BEFORE installing the new CAB.
- You can customize some settings if you open the MultiSettings editor (you need Flash 7 to run it).
- All the icons, clock, bars and shortcuts can be easily skinned and configurable on the instalation folder..
- Reset and enjoy!

Errors:
--------

- If the MultiSettings editor doesnt close properly, you need to install Flash 7,
- If the weather icon is giving an error, update your Titanium weather with this small fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3949075&postcount=1077
- If the left button doesnt change for some reason... Post here a PNG screenshot with the correct size of your today screen. If you dont know how to do this, install mymobiler.com and post here a screenshot of your screen, make sure the size is correct. Since this forum transforms the PNGs in JPGs youll need to host it outside, for example, you can host your image on imageshack.us .
- If your weather icons have a wierd size, I'd advice the Beyond Invisible Iconset.
- If you reset your device with notifications pending, that link becomes the default, even after the notifications disappear. I have to think of a way to fix this, but in the meantime, ppl can use the MultiSettings to fix it manually.
- If you want this plugin to become your default plugin (the one that appears when you press the red button), simply place it on top of the other plugins and disable the default clock, with Titanizer or Chome.
- If your SMS menu isnt centered, run this script.
-If the main image doest open with the menu, use this fix.

thats not being used at the moment, but the sms viewer from APBilbo saves the sms's there.
And that way that used the correct current sms to reply.

twolf included this in cab, so no worries. I think there isn't landscape mode yet. But great plug in, keep it up
My weather icon isn't showing, it's just a white X (in a red circle )

It pulls the icons from the weather plugin settings in the registry so it should work fine but I have noticed that the beyond icons look the best IMHO. I always install those icons and select them in the weather options.
Looking good twolf Everything so far is working for me. I do have a question on the clock. Is there anyway for it not to be military time? and also when its like say 8:15am can the zero before the 8 be taken away?
Just something minor but thought I would ask..
Also when viewing another panel is there a way to show the current temp next to the weather icon? I attached a screenshot so you know what I'm talkin bout. Last thing how hard would it be to include new email like you do for new txt on the main screen?

What do you have in registry setting
HKLM/Software\Microsoft\CHome\TitaniumWeather\Page1\CurrentIcon ?
there is no currenticons or something, just Icon which refers to an icon in the titaniumweather folder condicons icon 03.png
and in Twolf's registry it says nothing at the icons

I'm moving on to a Diamond 2 in a few days time, and 6.5 is still not available for it. Going to miss all the wonderful 6.5 plugins.

My problem is fixed, i had to change Twolf.mscr to read my reg key for the weathericon which was just Icon, and Text for the degrees.
Hi, awesone plugin Twolf, but how can make this the default plugin if I want to put this like third plugin?
Another question, I´m using the spil Icons, In condensed mode only show the upper half of the icon, how I can fix it?
Will be wonderful if you can put the degrees on side of weather in condensed mode, I hope the you can fix the 2gb issue for mortscript.

Yes, the weather temperature can be there too, plenty of space, the 2GB size issue Im still not sure how to do... :/

VGA/WVGA. It also works (in theory) on QVGA, but it may not run well due to older devices being slower.
Looks and runs nicely on my Blackstone, have noticed a few things though:
- the blue squares shake a lot if you press and hold the screen...not sure if it's intentional but personally I feel the 'vibration' effect isn't too nice to look at.
- when scrolling on the apps screen some program names get broken. For example: 'FreeUpRam' becomes 'FreeUP' and 'pTravelAlarm' becomes 'pTravelAl'. The scrolling motion is also a bit jumpy.
- could not find a way of returning from bing search to the main screen without exiting the app and reloading it.
- pictures tab does not see images on the SD card in \Storage Card\My Documents or \Storage Card\DCIM (it would be nice if it could be set in the settings to look at 2 paths - storage and phone)
- none of my music is listed (also stored on storage card).

what are your thoughts on changing the faded black background to pitch black?? I am guessing you're trying to make it look like what's shown in the microsoft demos on that prototype device...? That's probably due to the display on that device though and i'm going to take a wild guess and say MS will make it black like on the zune hd when it's done. Or maybe you have a different reason for it?

keep gettin a error when i launch the app
are you using windows form control/user control to display items? You can't get any smoother animation with windows form controls, because everytimes the control Location changes, it repaints itself regardless and as you can see it is very resource consuming. You gotta paint individual control for better performance.
But overall, it's looking pretty nice
I trie on my ELF P3450 and runs fine but a little bit slower, understand that, older device...
Very nice app... any chance to edit menu ( the right side)???
ohhh...and tell the trick to unlock screen i spend about 2 min to find out...looool

I tried this on opal (201mhz processor) qvga screen.
I can tell one thing its just awesome on my device i didnt expected it to be so smoothe (iam comparing this with the preview version) its much smoother just one thing on home screen while scrolling the tiles move with hands thats absolutely smoothe but for some time it leaves a trace of the tile say 1 or 2 seconds if u fix that u can officially say its compatible with qvga.
I expect more pages, more likelyness to original wp7

It's getting better - the only that has disappointed me with this build (as opposed to the one I've tested for you) is the animations seem to have got slower rather than faster - especially for the people hub.
I see you have fixed some bugs - some still remain but I will not double report those.
A new one, it's nice to see you've added the contact surname, however, it is now shown underneath the next person's first name (i.e. you've not given it enough space/padding).
The same goes for the program list (the second part of the program name is cut off). good to see it's actually working now - though still not scrollable.
The live tiles still take a long time to animate out/in.

Update: In qvga device there is no tile for images.
Plus this homescreen needs kinetic scrolling its a must coz scrolling between the left and right pages is excellent the animation is perfect but scrolling down is little hard so i am saying kinetic scrolling please add in next version.

I'm running it on my HP614C, WM6.5 with a 520Mhz processor.
It's stille pretty slow, but it surely is an improvement over the alpha release!

My guess is they are taking up more room than available, which means the auto-font size is broken. I'll look into it.

Interesting, and yes I noticed that. The problem is that most testing was on the Device Emulator at QVGA resolution, so the fonts worked perfectly on low res. I'll play with the numbers at get that fixed.
About the speed being lower, I'm confused by that, as not much was added (just fixes from the list you sent me). By chance do you have anything running in the background?
Otherwise, I'm still working on speeding up the animations, expect some changes soon

I'm under the impression this is an English-only forum, but I'll answer your concerns as best I can.
1robably takes too much memory.
2:Obviously, since it's QVGA, it runs slow. (since the device is older)
3:I don't know what to say, because .NET CF handles all that.
4robably due to #3.
How to make new watch faces for Amazfit
Finally, after a long search, I have been able to find the way to make new Amazfit watch faces, demanding me hard work, but there is so much to do yet, many tests are needed. At the moment I only tested how to make analogic watch faces, not digital ones.
What is needed to make watch faces?
A PC software that can open images with alpha channel like Gimp, Photoshop, etc.
Find attached the download a template that I used to make the first fully working custom watch face. Use it just by changing image files and not rename it.

We have drawn all images of our simple watch face and can adjust files in the respective folders.
This is the final structure:

This is the file I used for my watch face, parameters are self explaining so I will not add more. You can make a similar file only by changing watch face name and author.
NB: tag “settings” to “true” allow to modify the watch face inside the watch menu to load custom background as it is already possible with some standard watch face.

This file contains images path to be used in the watch face.This file has a complex configuration and it also has the widget configuration to use inside the watch face. I have not been able yet to test everything as there is no official documentation and all data have been extracted from decompiled apk.

Copy the watch face file inside the watch as any music file, so:
Turn on the Amazfit and connect it to PC
Open the main folder whit the list of all folders
Search the WatchFace folder, if not existing just make it (case sensitive)
Copy the .wfz file inside the WatchFace folder
Test the watch face from the watch!

Tips for creating background images (8c folders), it's not about 8c pallete, as long as your image does not exceed 10Kbytes (you can save it as png-8 with 256 colour if it doesn't exceed 10Kbytes in size), it would be fine, so make sure you check the size before zipping the files. The size for background images (outside 8c folder) are free, just make sure the size is not exceed 200Kbytes, so it would not take too much space on the watch memory.

Good Job mate. If I try to open a wfz there does nothing happen. So you can't edit your previous created wfz.
The limitation to 5 widgets is a little too low.

Thanks Please tell me more about it. You can't open any at all? Can you open wfz in the application folder? 5 widget limit for beta only.

Easy as pie. I had to start WFZMaker as administrator. Only then the program can open existing watchfaces. By the way. If you try to open an existing waz with more than 5 widgets, WFZMaker crashes.
But since jet the best program to create wfz. Keep going.
Another tiny bug is. If I save a createsd watchface with heartrate and open it again, the heartrate is gone and statusbar is diplayed instead.
I think your prog puts everytime when you export a new watchface, the statusbar in the wfz.
Another little thing. There is no low res background.

The application crashed due to an error when loading the date widget, since somewhere the model has a value of 12, and somewhere 0. This bug is now fixed.
I have a statusbar in the program as a widget, and the very first one is written to the file, it is always recorded as well, so it could replace another widget. Now I have increased the number of widgets to 8.

Much better now. Widgets are working perfect.
Programm should executed as admin.
In my case the low fi background is not displayed. Don't know why. Maybe it depends on the naming of the files.

Not displayed in watches or in app? The application does not load the original LoFi, it generates them yourself. Administrator permission is required if the application is installed in the system folder.

Photoshop says you are using 9 colours but amazfit can only show 8 colour pics as lo fi background.

That's right, 8 primary colors and 1 transparent. The clock understands this, but just in case for the background I will make a palette of 8 colors.
