You will get about 600-800 mb free ram on all custom roms for a311. And 1.2 gb to 1.4 gb free on a310.

Last week we introduced further improvements to Calculator app to improve the user experience. Our developer team focused on real-time exchange rates and added new service provider for it. This handy feature allows you to easily calculate money from one to almost any other currency in a matter of milliseconds!
How does it work?
Open your Calculator app and use the button on the top left to switch from Calculator to Currency mode.
In Currency mode, you are able to easily check exchange rates from many currencies available.

FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS
download rom from given link transfer to internal memory
MMX A350 V3 PHILZ recovery is recommended to flash any MIUI Version in A350
Choose Clean to Install option to wipe previous ROM
then choose MIUI 8 zip & flash...
DO NOT INSERT SIM NEITHER CONNECT TO WIFI In order to complete 1st boot setup...
Install Viper sound driver by starting VIPER4ANDROID app by giving root permissions
head to xposed app, Activate both Modules & install firmware followed by reboot
To Improve Loudness of the device sound patch zip can be flashed via Recovery
Vooollllaaaa.....ready to enjoy MIUI 8( IMEI can be entered by Chamlephone app from Google play store unless u don't lose ur baseband)

Yes, You can use Redmi Note 3g build directly from official forum ...Beta ROM originally comes in Chinese version....So I do prefer multirom.me or Xiaomi.eu build instead.coz they removed all Chinese stuff & inbuilt global theme store.
U cannot upgrade MIUI to 5.0 or 6.0 for MT6592, unless U have custom kernel.KK has some restrictions (no dual apps or 2nd space) due to hardware incompatibility.thats the reason even some Xiaomi phones running on kk don't support those features.

i have seen jio 4g on some of the ss.
Does this miui 8 for micromax canvas knight a350 supports 4g?
As we aal know canvas knight a350 doesnot support 4g.will this miui rooting helps to make it a 4g phone?atleast LTE?Is there any way to make this phone a 4g phone?
