Don't know if its been mentioned but here's a link to a pretty good theme. http://brobot175.co.uk/MetroUI/MetroUI.html There's a video and a tutorial but you have to be running AOKP or Virtuous roms to install.

I stopped trying and now i'm trying to get a hold of the developer, it installed the apps though which is weird!
I wonder if it has to be a deodexed rom? I think aokp was deodexed at some point and I know virtuous is.

AOKP was updated since this was made also
I will try on virtuous and report back!
Edit
It is taking a very long time to setup...also I am redoing my titanium backups before I flash the theme just in case I need to restore. Will report back when finished!
Let us know, I really want to try it as well.

Question for you. I'm trying to set this up, but in Desktop Visualizer, I cannot get to the settings, I do not have any options for it? I'd rather not have to do the single options for each single part. Any help you can offer?

Ummm, same here. It's gat to be with DV though...
1) yes its definitely worth the flash!!!
2) I could not find the settings either, so I setup the tiles with the recommended settings for each individual tile. It was very time consuming but in the end I got an awesome result!
So I've got this set up. It was time consuming, but I really like the way it looks except for one thing. The pulse widget is slightly smaller than the rest, and it drives me crazy. I like the widget for what it does accept for that. Any ways to fix it? Resizing it does nothing.

yeah that happened when i updated to ICS and i spent weeks trying to fix it :L it annoys my perfectionist ways also
to those having problems with desktop visuliser go onto the touchpad forum then find a thread like this and one of the guys on there has contacted the dev and theyve sent him a version that works for the tablets that are having this problem
when i get time ill put this version of visuliser into your zips so youll get it when you flash
any problems to report over here ?
if the OP wants i could send him the html of my other threads so he can use my images and stuff in the first post
just to make it look a bit nicer

After you get the tile setup and on the home screen press and hold and then edit to resize.
The statusbar will be transparent on the home screen (like the S4) when you click into an app itll go back to black. This will be a project that takes a lot of time because I will have to do this for every rom individually and then keep updating it as they do. I dont want to start this project if no one cares for it.
Yes or no? Vote in the poll.
Also, can you guys list roms that dont get updated back to back?
Roms like Jelly Beans is perfect because he isnt always pushing updates, roms like that will be ideal.
Great idea, would you do one for the stock OTA beanstown compiled? Deodexed. Itll never see an update lol

I didnt realize that. Sorry guys, Im going to have to pass on this project because Xposed does allow you do to this + way more options.
First download xposed framework: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1763596&d=1361912261
Its an APK, just install it then open up the app and hit the "install/update" button. After this restart the phone and download Xposed Tweak Box located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1757849&d=1361739667
Install that apk as well. Now go back to the xposed installer (its the first app you installed) and click where it says, "modules." Select Tweak Box now go back to the Tweak Box app and customize away. It gives you options for any status bar color, transparency and much more.
Give these folks a thanks, here is the link to Xposed Framework and Tweak Box below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629653
Edit: Some roms already come with this, some dont and Xposed Framework is universal.

I was under the impression you'd be doing it like on the S4. Although xposed will allow a transparent statusbar, when you enter an app it stays that way.
In your mod you talked about having it go black once you enter an app which xposed will NOT do.
For whatever reason I'm not able to get the Xposed tweakbox to make the status bar transparent. I'm running beans build 14. The slider is to the right making it transparent. I've tried to make other changes, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Yeah. After you make it transparent and reboot, pull down the notification bar, it should be transparent after you move it back to the top. There is a post on beans thread with more in depth instructions .....

Are you on a GS4? Your thread was for Sony. The xposed installer is installed but I havent found a theme that works. Can you please post a screen shot of one of these themes on your GS4. dknell, the theme pictured is from one that i compiled using a little from here and there, including some XML edits from a theme me and speedy_tun collaborated on.
if you'd like for me to send it to you to see if you get the same results, please pm me. the google now widget is themed for apex launcher, and i may have included the edits for it to work on nova launcher but i'm pretty certain it will not work for the stock TW launcher, though the google search widget is themed (just not the persistent search. those XML edits must be written for whatever launcher you wish for it to work on).
i can offer no support and can't do requests (sorry, since having a baby, i don't themes anymore), but will help if i can
let me know,
rf
ps. if anybody else would like it, please contact the theme creators for hue and liquid blue (links are in this thread) for their permission first. their images are included (mostly liquid blue, except for persistent search) so i won't do them wrong by posting it w/o permission.
Blacked Out Dialer with Cobalt Blue theme
Screenshots are at the bottom of this post.
None of this is not my work and I take no credit for any of the mods or theming.
I'm not sure if anyone else has done this, if so I have not been able to find anything anywhere for the VS985 variant.
All credit goes to @hello00 and @dustinb17
Don't forget to show the developers some love and thank them.
I am just providing proof that this works and how to get it.
Use these at your own risk and I am NOT responsible for anything that happens to your device.
Anyone interested in a "dark dialer and contacts" along with "cobalt blue themed" here is how you go about it.
Prerequisites:
1. nandroid nandroid nandroid! Just can't say it enough.
2. Download all files needed. The links to the Dev threads where you can download the files needed are listed below.
3. Must have g3 tweak box installed.
4. Must have xposed installed.
5. Must be rooted and bump TWRP installed.
---
The blacked out dialer must be flashed through TWRP. Not sure if it is needed, but I wiped Davlic and cache when I flashed to prevent headaches.
---
To use cobalt theme go to G3 Tweakbox / theme tweaks / THEMES / phone app then choose cobalt theme and reboot.

Every time I downloaded one of these through Chrome or ES File Explorer it kept giving me an error saying problem parsing package. So I used Chrome and opened up an incognito tab and downloaded the apk that way. You may even use a desktop computer to download it then transfer it to your phone. Just letting you know ahead of time you may get that error, but once you get it to install it looks pretty cool. They have several to choose from in the link I posted.

Here are a few modded SystemUI's which include 3Minit Battery and 3Minit Clock. I know some guys have been asking for the mod so here it is. Just flash in TWRP. Make sure you make a backup first. Battery and Clock icons have white text, so they will not be visible while in certain apps or screens. DynamicStatusBar would be one fix for that so I'll try to get that going as well. I hope you all enjoy and let me know how it works for you.

I know it's made on the T-Mobile variant but do you think there is any chance it could work on the Verizon model? Just thought i'd ask.

Absolutely, send me your systemui. Our systemui most likely will not work on your variant

https://mab.to/NTzjLuGKB Here's the link. The website is myairbridge.com in case you are wondering what it is.
Does that program have AOSP style status bar icons? That's what I really would like to have. And I don't want a battery icon but only text showing the percentage left.
im interested on a vzw version if needed myself

It 's only clock and battery. Many different battery styles to choose from. Clock can be moved from left to right or center, very customizable.
