i have a problem with youtube not playing videos
i have removed all updates and cleared the app data/cache but still not working
also the update is unable to install and i am getting a 501 error
There's a software bug related to videos (including youtube). Rebooting solves the problem for a few days (until it happens again).

I have the same problem, install YouTube app from external page as uptodown.com and work without problems.
Tried both fixesbut wont work
Just die a complete reset and now everything works again but I am not happy if i have to reset each month
Suspect there is some bug in the firmware
The bug just also started to affect my second m4
problem is back in my first M4 the second one still hasn't been reset
i really need a fix for this

I have a Sony Z3 dual sim (D6633) running stock KitKat, rooted. I am posting here, and not in Sony's forum, as I understand this is a generic issue which can happen to any phone, and is not Z3-specific.
I cannot download anything from the play store; the screen is always stuck at 'download pending'. I had this this morning, and deleted all data (settings -> app for google play services, google play, download manager, and download media). It worked this morning, but now I have the same problem and redoing those steps doesn't help. I do have internet access and have tried connected to 4G and to two separate wifi networks.
I did a factory reset of the phone just yesterday because of this issue + because some process was stuck in a loop and overheated my phone. I wouldn't want to reset the phone every day!
Any suggestions? What causes this and why?

PS Incidentally, this proves we don't need a new smartphone every 6 months - we just need smartphones which work and are stable. But this is not what the industry wants, of course.
Solution kinda....
The issue came across me as well i just installed a custom ROM and the restoring backup was taking place. Google play is reinstalling the apps when suddenly all apps stops at download pending. Well the only solution i found was to factory reset my phone (by facotry reseting i mean wiping all data cache ... EXCEPT for system) then reflashing gapps which worked fine for me. Hope this helps
Hello.! I have samsung galaxy s6 edge(ZTO) brazilian version i am facing an issue since for 5 months the problem is
1)whenever i play a music the music stops playing after 4-5 seconds without giving any message just the phone got freeze for 2-3 seconds and the music stops playing and then automatically started playing from the beginning of the song.
2)whenever i play any video it will stop after sometimes giving an message "An unknown error occured while playing video"
3)If i use any application such as chrome,Internet,snapchat it just stops after sometimes giving a message like"Unfortunatly facebook(Any App i am using) have been stooped"
4)sometime when i am using any app freezes and the app gets restarted after 2-3 seconds without giving any message.
****I had tried eveything that i can do to fix this here are the things i had done to fix tgis issue*******
1) I done a factory data reset even i had done a hard reset using recovery mode but the problem is didn't fixed.
2) I did wipe the cache but nothing happened
3) I did flash the stock firmware through smartswitch but that also didnot helped
4) I did downloaded the stock firmware for my device and flashed through odin but that also didn't helped
5) I download the Indian firmware of my device and flashed through odin because i thought the problem is with my country's firmware file but that also didn't worked.
Now i had having no hope if this problem can be fixed or not.

Hello, so I changed my screen few weeks ago, and I started to notice that it won't work propelry, in menu or setting it's okay, but when I try to use apps, some of them wont work as it should. For example, i can't take photo in messenger, i can't send good game in Clash Royale. Screen seller sent my some files to update my phone, but I noticed that i can't get into recovery mode, only in factory mode, I tried to do factory reset, OTA update because mine is still 2016-06-08, but it won't update, I also tried flash those files without recovery mode(when you start downloading ant then turning off your phone), but it didn't work. Have any ideas, what it could be?

Did you replace the screen yourself or was it a kind of Elephone repair ? .. obviously changing a screen is a major kind of thing and (I would assume) it could cause issues if not done properly.
Have you tried to flash the 2016-06-08 Rom in Splash Tools (or a custom ROM) and checking to see if the issue still exists - Im sure if its your screen it would occur on whatever ROM you were using, as its a hardware fault. Thing is if its just a sioftware "glitch"... I would first flash TWRP in flashtools, then flash a ROM from within TWRP and check if the issue still persists.
Obvioulsy if the issue continues once youve tried this I guess your screen is faulty unfortunately

Already brought Rom GQ3056MF1_HCS986A_Ulefone_20180111_V26
But when I called, it started to give error "Google Play Store stopped working". At a great cost I was able to install Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Touchpal Keyboard ... But none of these applications works, being in an infinite loop where all applications stop working ...
I searched the Internet for solutions but did not find anything that resulted ... Clear the Cache and Data, reinstall the applications, even do a Factory Reset ... Nothing resulted ...
I found a solution, which consisted of a Rom of the previous version, GQ3056MF1_HCS986A_Ulefone_20171229_V25 . However this is an unofficial Rom, and although the applications work fine, but the phone is too slow.
I would like to know if this is an error in Rom version GQ3056MF1_HCS986A_Ulefone_20180111_V26 that will be fixed in some update, or if it is a failure to install Rom on this phone.
How can I solve this problem, and where can I find an Official Rom?

My pixel reboots randomly during the date, whether i use it or not..
Also when i use the camera app, the app very often crashes and the phone restarts..
I have done all the updates, i 've tried in safe mode, i 've done hard reset..
Till now nothing has solved the problem..

I had the same problem. I rooted my device a few months ago and everytyhing worked fine until the January update. I used the android flashtool and rooted it again. A week later the same problem occured again. So I did a full wiped, locked the bootloader again and everything works fine again.
