Well I m using 26/12 CM13 build. I haven't seen any problem like this. I using aircel and i can easily switch 2g to 3g and vice-versa.
You may try the latest build as of now its 28dec build out on cyanogenmod https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=otus This may fix that issue u r facing.

after installing cynogenmod 13.0 on my samsung s3 - i9300 , the mobile data is not working. iam using tata docomo sim in india, karnatak state. Please tell me how to solve the problem.
What do you mean it's not working? Mobile data works fine on mine. Must be something with your network or signal.

Me too just installed many custom ROMs associated with cm 13 and cm 13 it self still mobile data not working
Only works fine on Aicp cm 13 ROMs
i also facing this problem with cm12.1 rom and other lollipop based roms but on MM roms mobile data works fine i'm using vodafone sim and in cm13 it shows as Vodafone in mobile network but in cm12.1 it shows as Hutch. all roms where it shows as Hutch mobile data not work but where it shows as Vodafone mobile data works fine.

Hi, XDA people , I flashed cm12.1 snaptchat in my ls990 and than
gsm patch 4.2.6, I did a factory reset ,but it's showing sprint Carrier sometimes shows international roaming, I can't use ussd, data also not working, I think this gsm patch isn't compatible with cm12.1, please how to get gsm fully working in cm12.1.
as the title above i am wondering if my phone is cdma or niot i have a sunrai 6.0 rom installed and running fine 3g all the time and 4g when i areas it is available but whenever i flash a 7.0 rom i loose all data.

Not sure I quite understand the context of your question. Going from MM to N Roms should not impact your cell network connection.
i dont understand why it is doing it either but the main question is ifit is cdma or not cause i see alot of xt1526 post in cdma but i am running a sunrai rom and it is working

Surnia is the code name for all variants of the Moto E 2 LTE. Some are CDMA, some are GSM, some overlap. The xt1526 that you have has both CDMA and GSM bands. Other model numbers of surnia are xt1521, xt1527 and xt1528. The non LTE version is code name OTUS. Any surnia ROM is compatible with your device. You may need to reconfigure your APN settings after flashing though - that is the first place I'd look for network issues.
Hello fellow xda members, i have a new problem with my redmi note 3. i tried several roms in the last day but on my simcard slot 1 i dotn get 3g or 2 g working. it can not find any network only 4g and with sim 2 only sometimes it works when i manually select my 3g network. and because i dont have volte my callings doesnt work and i can not get calls either. i tried to flash the latest firmware for los from the forums even tried several versions but still not functions. roms where i testet are tesla rom, nitrogen os and validus

ok i have an update. so if i use simcard 2 it works always but sicmard 1 doesnt find any 2g or 3g networks. can someone help tried nearly every firmware and even tried to get back to stock but edl doesnt work for me cause of read error at port

I directly flashed twrp without unlocking bootl loader with the help of youtube , it was successful even i installed custom rom rr latest 8.1. But the problem is i am not getting 4g network on my phone i tried airtel, jio, Vodafone etc.
Also i was not getting 4g network on miui global stable, i dnt knw wt is the problem with my phone. The reason for moving in custom rom that i thought volte/4g will work on custom rom but it failed.
Can anyone please help me to get back volte, please guys i really need 4g/volte because 3g sucks. Please provide the steps to solve this problem.
Please rply if anyone knows the solution.

Does your sim card support 4g? If it's too old, there is a chance it doesn't

Yes, it does. Recently I ported my old SIM card in new Airtel 4g.
