I assume you haven't flashed the GApps package. Find it here. Select 6.0 and the package you want...I prefer pico cause its the smallest package with just the core files needed. But its up to you to choose.

I built Android 4.1.2 from source for my Nexus S using the instructions from android source website. Later I found that there are no gapps (Google Apps) on the phone and so I cannot set up my Google account or use the Play Store or Google Maps. I tried to download the Gapps and installed them from the SD card but when I rebooted the phone , I don't see any google apps installed in the phone.
Can anyone help regarding this please?

Rooted by company, i bought this tab from china ( original) but since google play store is blocked in china so they root all devices and put their chinese markets ( really ****ty ) .so now i am back home and here Google play store works so i wanna have google play store or get new android with play store but i cannot find any rom for this tab . It would be great if some one can share a link so that i cant update, and little guideline would be great !
