Hello,
It is not my first time for rooting and custom rom using however this time i guess i did something wrong or missed something but i couldn't have figured what it is so far. So i need a little help.
At first, i downloaded "vcoreroot-v2.tar" from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2355680 and flashed via Odin. When i tried to open the phone i could here the opening sound but with a black screen. So i kept searching and tried the file from CF-Autoroot. There was no change.
Later on, i installed TWRP and wiped and formated everything. After that i installed a custom rom. Now what i have now is again during opening i can here opening music but this time together with Samsung logo.
Regarding this problem, what i understand from my searches on internet, this is a Boot-Loop / softbrick. To solve this problem i tried everything i read but still no luck (wipe data, cache, factory reset etc).
I am not actually sure if it is a loop since my phone does not keep closing and opening. It is not a loop, it is stucked instead.
Anyone has an idea?
Thanks in advance.

I recently updated my Rooted GS4 to 4.3
I started by downloading the sofftware then when i went to install it, it brought me to Clockwork recovery saying that what i was trying to install was unknown or something but i knew it was the firmware so i accepted it. It all went through installing and was booting up but stayed at the Yellow Sprint screen. for a long time
I read multiple forums looking for what to do, i reset it first by taking out the battery(over 5 times), then i tried it without the sim or sd in. Nothing. I tried wiping the data and cache from CWR still yellow screen. i am about to try restoring it to the stock rom (currently downloading it) but before i wanted to come here for help on how to do it or anything else i can possibily do.
Please help. :crying:
Okay, absolute noob here. Crashed my WP8 and after a lot of hunting, found an old Galaxy S GT-I9003, running Froyo. Installed Kies and updated to Gingerbread. Phone worked fine for the first 5 hours (my first time with an android, fell in love with the UI and the apps) However, phone suddenly hanged and shut down on its own. Been stuck in a boot loop since then: between the Galaxy screen and the Samsung logo screen, which goes back to the Galaxy screen. I can boot into recovery and download. Already tried reset/cache wipe. No avail. Tried the emergency firmware thing in Kies. It sort of went halfway and then suddenly blacked out, and after that even that wont work, Kies refuses to recognize the phone. I'm a total noob to Android, so please take a minute to help out? I'm desperate.:crying:
Things to try:
This honestly sounds like the battery is dead, but if we're to assume it's a software problem, just for starters, I would try removing the battery for a few minutes, just because it's easy. If that doesn't work, go back to recovery and wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, and wipe delvick cache. You won't lose any files, pictures, etc. (if you have any from only 5 hours of use) from the wipe data/factory reset process, it will just reset your settings.
If you've tried all of the above, and you have searched for any other possible solutions for your device and/or OS, then I would try reflashing the ROM. You can get your firmware .zip from sammoblie .com/firmware , and you can look up instructions on how to flash a ROM onto your phone online, and feel free to ask questions here.

Hi all,
I've managed to royally mess up my Galaxy S2, and I could really do with a bit of help! It was running a rooted stock rom.
The problem started when I attempted to install the Orange Signal Booster using instructions from this thread. I think the killer was replacing default.prop in system.
At this point the phone would crash a couple of seconds after the unlock screen appeared. I could get as far as dragging down and clicking settings before the entire thing hangs. I got similar results in safe mode. I also tried wiping cache etc in CWM but to no avail. I'm backed up, so I tried a factory reset, but I'm having a similar issue. The language selection screen appears, I press start and the phone freezes again.
I'd really appreciate some help!
BTW, my phone's USB port doesn't work so I'm looking for a solution that can be done within recovery. This is a separate issue and I believe it is unrelated as I have managed fine for over a year.
With a dead usb port you're pretty much screwed. The best and fail proof solution is to reflash stock rom using odin because it will wipe and reflash all partitions that were used before.
Hey guys, I just f***ed my phone up.
This is what happened
First of all, I'm sorry for my bad english, as I'm not a native speaker
I'm using Archi Droid v3.0.2, while playing a game my phone suddenly rebooted, I thought it was just overheated, but I got a bootloop, I tried to wipe cache & dalvik, reboot my phone... bootloop. I made it to the lockscreen though, but after 5 seconds it will reboot again. I'm wiping my phone through Philz & clean install the Archi Droid ROM, aanndd, still, bootloop. So I tried to restore my Lollipop backup (I downgraded my device to Kitkat because Lollipop is not as sweet as Xposed & A.D. ) and ... I can boot, BUT I CAN'T connect to the Internet, everytime my phone got "H+" signal on the top of the screen, the screen will flicker and signal will be lost (over and over). I can still make calls & sms though (if i turned the mobile data off). Then I tried to factory reset my Lollipop, and at first boot, it says "Installing Apps (or something) ... of 98" I thought it wouldn't install or upgrade any apps after factory reset. THEN I got bootloop again. I gave up, flashed stock firmware via Odin, succeeded. Going through setup & realized I still got this network problem, so i factory reset my stock 4.3 rom & after it finished... Planning to setup my phone and after 10 seconds I got bootloop again. I got a feeling (my feeling sucks) that this is a partition problem. So I tried to flash .pit file with samsung 4.3 stock firmware, and I'm stuck at "NAND WRITE START!!" in Odin. After praying for 1 hour I decided to remove the battery and disconnect my phone from the PC. Now everytime I flash something via odin, it will always stuck at "NAND WRITE START!!"
I want to try this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/solved-pit-bricked-dead-problem-gt-t2535367) though, but I'm afraid to mess my phone up even more.
Now I'm unable to flash ANYTHING into my phone, I need some (a lot of) help here. I'm going to university and asking for a new phone will get me into trouble (they will give me a $10 phone for sure). Thanks in advance

Fixed the problem by using this, Rescue Firmware . Flashed 4.3 rescue firmware with pit file, it worked.
The battery caused boot loop on my phone, guess it's solved then
I had the fabric format Android (4.2.2) and my friend helped me to upgrade to Cyanogenmod by using TWRP. It didn't work so we kept it in the lastest official 4.2.2 from Samsung. After a pair of days of working perfectly, I woke up and my phone was in the "Samsung" loading screen. I kept it for a couple of minutes and nothing happened, so I pulled out the battery and put it in again, same thing happened. Tried again, then it started normally and worked fine for a few seconds, until it froze, so I repeated the battery thing. Samsung loading screen a pair of times, then it loaded again, froze... And it kept doing that
Then I tried to format it with TWRP, but the OS was deleted too (guess I selected the wrong choice?) and it's not loading anymore.
Today I've been trying to re install the firmware via Odin with a friend, but it keeps failing at the system.img file and the error is not very descriptive...
Also, sorry for the repost, nobody replied in the last one, so I just copied the message. I hope you can help me, please :/ Is it hard bricked? Should I just forget about it and get another phone? Or is there any way to install another OS?
