Hi Guys,
I am new member to this forum (which i found really good, thanks all for providing all the required inputs and information's).
The reason i am asking this question is coz i didn't find solution for my problem for my phone model (GT-N7000) with 5.0.2 version.
Issue is - i want to re-partition the internal memory (right now i am not able to download any app, only 2 GB size with 600KB available it is showing. I cleared, deleted and also moved few apps).
I have rooted my phone successfully months back till few days back i didn't find any problem but now it got reboot automatically and all the apps are missing and also app data. Now i want to re-partition and then link the apps to 2nd partition (which is currently not available in my phone)
Cyanogenmod version - 12-20150305-unofficial-n7000
Android version - 5.0.2
kernel version - 3.0.64-Bauner

Hi!
Problem
First: Sorry, i couldn't find any similar threads on this topic. (even on google)
I have a huge problem with my i9300 on outgoing calls! Whenever i attempt to make a call (dial number manually or dialling through contacts), the phone app crashes instantly after hitting the green call button. (means: in a split second there is a complete white screen visible, and after this im always back at the home screen or at the app drawer).
This happens since i've updated my Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightlies from March, XX.2013 to June, 17.2013 (Since there are no stable versions up to now) After this i have updated to 18.06.2013 and after this to 23.06.3013. (Unfortunately the problem still exists.)
Incoming calls therefore work fine.
How i tried to fix it
1. Reflash newer Nightly ROMS (CM10.1 for i9300) numerous times.
2. In CWM Recovery: Wipe Cache Partition & Dalvik Cache
3. In Settings > Apps > All deleted Phone App Data and Cache.

Questions
If nothing helps:
1# Is there any chance to get older Nightly versions? (Since the cyanogenmod page is not keeping Nightlies older than 1 week etc.)
2# If older nightlies exist. Can i just reflash an older nightly version over a newer one without loss of data? (like a regular CM10.1 update)
Thank you in advance!
Greetings
you didn't try factory reset right?

Hi all,
I recently just bought a used s2 really cheap, this is my first android phone (I had a windows phone previous to this one, dont laugh)
I would like to root it (but not install custom roms because the thought of that scares me) but I am a bit confused about the process. I have watched plenty of videos and read plenty of tutorials but its very confusing (to me anyway).
Just think of me as a tourist asking for directions.
so here is all the information i can give you about the phone:
-Model number: GT-I9100
-Android version: 4.1.2
-Baseband version: I9100XXMS2
-Kernel version: 3.0.31-1211311
[email protected] #3
SMP PREEMPT Thu May 16
10:05:20 KST 2013
-Build number: JZO54K.I9100XWLSW
Im fairly sure this phone was bought in Ireland (where I live) so would I need some sort of 'European' variant?
So all I need is someone to point me to which niknak I need to download to get me going, thanks in advance -Liam
Thread stickied near top of Q&A titled '- Flash Stock firmware/ROM + Root' has all the info you need.

Nothing I haven't done in my life on stock 4.1.2 on my i9100. But here you go anyway:
1. Download this .zip file and place it on your external SD card. (link: http://d-h.st/Pyr)
2. Go to recovery mode by turning your phone off and pressing this combo: Volume up + Home button + Power button
3. In recovery, choose to install zip from external storage (as it's the only option to install .zip when you're using stock recovery)
4. After the installation is done, reboot your device and you should see SuperSU app in your drawer. Update it on Play Store as it's an old version.
The reason I gave you this .zip file is because it always works on stock recovery with no issues. Happy rooting
P.S. Sorry for "spamming" this post
thanks
Thanks for the help but I have a question. Are you positive that the ''CWM-SuperSU-v0.97.zip'' that you linked me is the right one? I mean is it right for the s2 I have, the GT-I9100 XWLSW. Also what does the ''XWLSW'' mean anyway?

It's the PDA version, and yes, I personally tested it
Hey everyone! Im new here and I need you advice.I've got clone Note 3 - HDC Galaxy Note 3 n9006 mtk6589, details will be writen below.I was thinking about changing rom, because there are few problems with my custom rom. It's crashing sometimes, a bit laggy, multiwindowing doesn't work and so on.The biggest problem ist when i press home button , instead of showing my opened apps it says that the UI stopped working. The phone then works normal, it just change my wallpaper to black and home button always do the same - UI doesn't work.I must restart the phone and than everything works fine.I was thinking about changing rom to MIUI, cause I like it very much, but i have no experience with changing roms.I don't want to brick my phone, so im asking you if it's even possible to change my rom to MIUI.The device is already rooted.I would be glad if someone can help me and link there the right rom for my phone. The Cyanogenmod would be great too, but I prefer MIUI.
Mobile spec:
Model number: SM-N900
Android version: 4.3
Baseband version:N900ZCUBMI3

05:11:24 KST 2013
Built number: JSS15J.N900ZCUBMJ3
SELinux stats: Enforcing
Im not really sure about that information, because it also says that its original Note 3 ,and also that it has 2gb ram/ 32gb rom ... but it has only 1gb/8gb .... i could add link where i bought it from and youtube review of the same phone, but im new and i cannot add links :/
Thank you for your time and advice.
Have a nice day.
Hello experts,
I've a 'pleasure' to use Kiano Pro 7 Dual tablet. Since there's no support from manufacturer side, I'd like to update my device on my own.
I've gone through many topics on this forum but I didn't find any information regarding this particular tablet. There're only some information about Kiano Pro 10 Dual and I'm not sure how information about that model are relevant to my device.
First of all, I'll try to summarize all collected information:
- Before I'll proceed to upgrading, I should do a backup of my device. Unfortunately, I've no idea how to do that. I've tried to use app like ROM Manager but my device isn't supported. I've found this site: (sorry I cannot post any URLs yet) but both images (Kiano PRO 10 DUAL (SN:11461+) and Kiano PRO 10 DUAL (SN:-11460)) aren't valid.
- The only way to update my device is to install custom ROM prepared by Oma. The last one that is compliant with my tablet is CM10.1 which has support for kernel 3.0.8. This rom can be found here: (sorry I cannot post any URLs yet)
Now my questions:
- Do you think that ROM prepared by Oma will be valid for my device?
- Is there any other way in which I'd do a backup of my device?
- To be honest the procedure of upgrading isn't straightforward. There's so many files on Oma's website. Can someone advice my which files I should use?
- I suppose that kernel file which I have to use later on should be retrieved from my backup image. Am I right?
Here is more detailed info about my device:
Model number: rk30sdk
Android version: 4.1.1
Kernel: 3.0.8+, [email protected] #42, SMP PREEMPT Wed Dec 26 12:09 12 CST 2012

Build number: RK30_ANDROID4.1.1-SDK-v1.00.00, rk30sdk-eng-4.1.1 JRO03H 20121113.110203 release-keys
I'd appreciate your help! Thanks in advance.
Just one more try in order to reach wider audience.
Hi all..
I have picked up a cheapie smart phone - a Dixon W510D.
Its running KitKat 4.4.2
Baseband is Mly.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V43, 2015/02/10 23:39
Kernel is 3.4.67, [email protected] #4, Mon Nov 16 14:26:50 CST 2015
Build Number is ALPS.KK1.MP7.V1
Custom Built Version is W510D_100_FN
What custom roms could I use? What would a known brand equivalent be?
I used to do everything on my Note 2, but that disappeared a long time ago. Basically got this phone so that I could customise as I wanted, but didnt have much cash to spend....
And help on this would be great!
