Since being updated just today this evening I tried to re enable all the settings again for pro-version including the "keep notification" which should prompt for a notification access for 6.0 and above OS
however I dont see any prompts nor when I manually visit the settings there aren't any specified for Greenify,
anyone has this problem or has @oasisfeng altogether removed this?
Nevermind I have fixed it.. I disabled the wrong service for Greenify lol

I'm not able to get the notifications to survive greenification.

As an example, I greenify Mailbox (new app from Dropbox). It supports GCM, so it pops up when I receive new mail. When it gets greenified, the notification disappears. Same behavior for Hangouts: new messages come in, notifications get wiped away when greenified.
How should I troubleshoot this? I've tried reinstall, wipe data, added as device administrator and accessibility service. When in Boost mode, there isn't any option for Greenify to read notifications.
Appreciate any help with this!
There is an option in Greenify settings called Keep notifications. Check it.
It keeps notifications even after app is greenifed.
I thought you were trolling at first. Then I reread my post and saw that I never explicitly stated that the checkbox doesn't work.
Regardless of whether that option is ticked or not, my notifications disappear when the apps are greenified. That's what I'm looking to troubleshoot.
Thanks for the response anyway!
As an update, stock Republic Wireless 4.4.4 still has this issue. !
UPDATE: When browsing other posts, I saw that sometimes Greenify would show that it's running in Boost mode and not fully be in Boost mode.
The fix was to select working mode in settings and tap again on Boost, even when it's already selected. Greenify froze, crashed, reopened, and began working as expected.
[Q] Android 4.4.2, the security option "verify apps" keeps toggling itself on
I don't like a scan periodically scanning my apps in the background, so I wanted to turn it off, but even after toggling it off (in the main security page in the tablet's menu), it ends up toggling itself back on a few hours later without my consent. Is that a common issue?
I went on the google settings page as well and unticked the two options to verify apps and send analysis info, and the funny thing is that merely accessing that page without changing the settings (and when they are already unticked) will automatically toggle the "verify apps" setting in the main security menu on the tablet. Although even if I dont visit that page, leave them unticked there and have it unticked in the main security menu, it will still toggle itself back on a few hours later in the main security menu.
What's going on here? Is google pushing that option to be on at all time to scan your apps regardless of users choice?
Has no one heard or experienced this issue?
To the people reading this who are using Kitkat, does your "verify apps" in the general menu remains unticked for extended periods of time without ticking itself back on? If so, do you have the latest versions of google playstore and google services? (can you even use old versions of those anyway? mine seem to auto update despite me having auto update disabled in the play store)
Anyone has any idea what is causing my issue and how I could solve it?
I just noticed this happening to me. It seems that if I uncheck it, then run the play store app, "verify apps" is checked on again. I don't know how to keep it off.
Guys I have been getting random cell broadcast from every place of this city as I travel from home to other places after I installed nougat. As its a System App I cant force close the notification. So I just have selected Show notifications silently.
its really frustrating the notifications just keep coming there is no stop to this. its been a week now.!!
Is there anyway I can disable this from showing up or anything?
disable it.
settings-> applications->cell broadcast->disable
or
you can turn off through the (los) Messanger or google Messanger settings.
On LineageOS / Nougat, the customary "alert" settings have no effect, and there is no app called CellBroadcast-whatever.
Instead, it is now called "Mobile Broadcasts", and cannot be disabled via the standard System->Apps menu. However, you can remove SMS permissions from it, which might help.
Or one can also use TitaniumBackup to "Freeze" it (disable it completely without uninstalling).
Hello ,
I have already read similar threads for this problem but still cannot fix my problem .
Only calls notifications works, it does not show me notifications from facebook , gmail, viber etc , I've already tried unpairing and pairing again with the phone, factory reset and uninstalling and reinstalling the amazfit watch app on the phone but nothing changed.
I checked the app blacklist and everything is enabled , this issue starts today , the previous weeks the watch works fine
Anyone can help me please?

Obviously I did restart my phone plenty of times
UPDATE:
After many restarts of my phone, 3-4 factory resets, and unistall - reinstall the amazfit app at least 2 times. It seems that the watch works fine again !
I dont know the problem is fixed (hopefully wont happen again) but just restarting your phone may fix the problem (may not work after the first restart, keep restarting your phone)
I also contacted amazfit to inform them , and they told me the same things
I am posting their answer:
If you can see them from the notification bar but can't see them through your watch, please check the following steps to troubleshoot your issue.
1) Check if you enabled the "silent mode" on the watch. If you enabled silent mode, you can't receive any notifications at all.
2) Enable the notification in the app
On the home screen of the Amazfit Watch app, select Notification Settings.
Tap the toggle switch to enable or disable push notification on your watch.
To enable or disable specific notifications, select App blacklist settings.
If you still can't receive the notification, please try the following:
Android
1: Go to settings --> manage apps' battery usage --> choose apps. From there, pick all the apps you want to receive push notifications and select "No restrictions."
2: Go to settings --> permissions --> autostart. From there, pick the apps you want to receive notifications, and toggle the switch to turn it on.
3: Lock the app in the "recent apps"/ "app overview" plane. Do so by first opening the apps, then press the "recent apps/overview button" . From there, find the app you want to receive notifications, pull down on it to "lock it", so it never gets cleared.
Hopefully this might help someone in the future
I think we need an update. Nothing of all them works for me.
I also have the same problem, watch only alerts me of the incoming call, no other notifications are pushed to amazfit pace...
I updated to latest MIUI Global 11.0.8 and this annoying bug cycles itself. If I click settings, there's a new option at the top most suggesting "Finish Setting Up Your Device". If I click it it takes me to Android Setup where it suggests I connect to Wi-Fi to finish setup. I already am on Wi-Fi and it isn't doing anything.
This bug existed in the previous MIUI 11.0.6 but in that case it was just a notification after every reboot which would disappear if you clear recents or hide that notification.
In 11.0.8 there's a persistent option right at the top of the settings menu and there is no way to get rid of it.

In setting go to manage apps. Find android setup application and force stop it. You can also permanently disable it. Btw I didn't face this issue. So try using a different wifi. It might be due to improper data connection in wifi.

I've tried all that including clearing data.
None of it works.
