Happy new year, folks!
So I noticed that my new Oneplus X dropped to 40% charge during the night being somewhere above 60 before.
The thing is that it was in Airplane Mode and jad no Wifi connection, so it should really not have done much.
(The only thing I can think of that was on was Ambient Display with Proximity Wake and adaptive Brightness...)
I have read this similar thread but neither am i sure this is my issue nor a proper solution was found.

Anyone having the same problem? How can I fix it? Or is it a firmware bug?
Edit: weird that the battery screen shows my Gps as beeing active even tho I have disabled location in my quicksettings after i used it in the late evening..
Edit2: So it koojs like the GPS was draining the battery and it's indicator was not working. Last nights the phone dropped by 1% or 0%. Solved!

After the latest update I've been running some tests. A 12 hour idle drain, with the phone starting at 100% battery and WiFi off, leaves it at 24%.
In contrast, my HTC Mozart (with a smaller battery) would last nearly 3 times this.
Any ideas if this is still software screwing about, or a more fundamental problem with the Nokia?
Try reseting your phone if you have problems after update. I know it has helped some.
I had mine go from 100% to 23% over night in battery saver mode.
I removed a couple of live tiles I'd added and remembered to log out of messenger/chat, and my over night drain became sensible again.
hi guys , i got some problem with the information displayed for my razr maxx. the thing is the battery usage curve won't change for the first 10% of power drain, and the awake bar and screen on bar are full. but when the battery drops to 80% and below, the curve starts to count from the 80% position, what is going on? how can i fix it ?
here is the screenshot
How many times have you already charged that battery from 0% to 100% and drained it back again to 0%?
Seems like a simple calibration issue that should have no effect in real world battery performance.
Had that too. If you want to know more about this, look up "batterystats.bin".
So, if you haven't done what I said in the first line, do it and report back.
i have tried delete the .bin file bwfore, nothing changed. i think i will try to charge it from 0to 100again see if there will be any change. btw will the battery calibration apps solve this?

Read that. You don't have to do anything, just let your razr get some charge cycles and the readouts will be right. Remember: There is no need to tinker with this, as this has no effect except for cosmetic terms.
thanks for the information. one more thing, the battery indicator always shows that the screen on and awake time are the same, even after i turn off the screen and play music for an hour. is this normal? or the system keeps recognizing the status of the screen as on? how should i deal with this?
I would just wait a few days (read: charge cycles) and look again. Indeed strange, but if your battery doesn't get drained this also seems just to be another cosmetic issue.
actually it seems it has been more energy draining than before. it wouldn't drop 1% when i turned on flight mode at night and checked it in the morning. but now even i turn on flight mode it drops about 5% next morning.

Don't count on the battery percentage today. Look again tomorrow/after some charge cycles.
The battery readouts need to be calibrated to display the correct battery level.
I had the same "issues" (in fact, those don't seem to be real issues) and they went away. I assume your razr will behave the same as mine
Is the phone still new? I know mine was a little wonky until the charging and the meter apparently calibrated themselves to Maxx's battery Ever since, it's been very accurate.
yes it is still new. i got it about half a month ago. just got it charged to 100% from 0%. gonna see what will happen。
I recently installed CM11 on my S3 with tmobile and the battery drainage is terrible. Ive searched other threads and the rate that others drain is miniscule compared to mine
I charged last night and went to sleep with my phone at 100%, when I woke up it was off, when turned on, 2%
Below attached is the screenshot of battery usage
I had Juice defender on, i set everything off (i think)
wifi was off, location/gps was off
I even turned off the blinking indicator light
20% an hour while idle means i'm obviously missing something here, please help? I don't know what the bars in the image mean but i was pretty sure i turned both those off
What can I do to fix this?
Go to Wi-Fi - advanced-untick always scanning
As for GPS some app might be using it...
For battery Install better battery stats and give it root permission and let it stand for 4-5 hours... And see what's causing your battery to drain...

I am using TS+ for about a week.
But I noticed that the battery life is too short.
I used only about 5~10 minutes screen on.
I set wifi on, cellular on, bluetooth off and disabled the sync of gmail.
TS+ only last about 16hr, just suddenly shutdown with battery status displayed 79%.
When I charge the TS+, it shows battery is 0%, and starts to charge from 0%.
Is this normal?
The battery is totally dead(0%) when I unboxed TS+.
I thought phone should still have battery around 50%, when they first arrived.
My OG TS got days of use and weeks of standby but had the same battery bug. Come to think of it, every MTK6572 based smartwatch I've seen has the exact same bug. I guess MTK and the various brands never bothered to fix it.

I have the exact same problem with my TS+. I hope a firmware update can fix it
I tried to use only phone stand by (no 3G data, no wifi, no bluetooth).
My TS+ last for 5 days and 6 hours.
Hi,
On marshmallow and nougat with no user apps installed, ie 'factory reset' I have noticed I sometimes get excellent battery, eg I lose pretty much just 2% in an 8 hour period.
However sometimes it is 2% per hour.
It is not an app causing this, no wakelocks that I can see. It seems like maybe a certain sensor gets 'stuck on' and keeps draining the battery.
It happens when not in aeroplane mode as well but is less noticeable as the battery is drained by normal use then as well.
At first I thought it was maybe google play services body sensor permissions causing it but I removed permissions and the drain still happened.
Anyone else noticed this.
I'm a bit OCD about battery, on my moto g 1st gen I only lost 1% max overnight in aeroplane mode so 2% per hour cannot be right.
Scott
FWIW, I was at 100% before bed last night so left mine in aeroplane mode overnight.
Was at 96% nine hours later. I was very pleased with that.
Thanks for the reply. I returned my phone and got a new one. Old one drained 2% an hour. The new one drained 1% in 7 hours last night. So I think the old phone was faulty.
Hopefully the new one doesn't develop the same fault.
Scott
Looks like my new phone has the fault as well. Something causes the phone to use 2% per hour over and above normal use. Probably a sensor stuck on and using power.
I will return this phone as well and give up on Wileyfox.
