Hello!
I recently flashed a Stock Marshmallow GPe ROM onto my non-GPe one m8.
Everything is working fine, but right now i dont have root on it, so my question: is it possible to root my phone now that it is not an "original" google play edition?

I recently received an update for KitKat on my Rooted HTC One from ATT. It is currently running android 4.3 the google play edition ROM for the HTC One, It also has a side loaded KitKat launcher on it. I received an update and I am wondering if the update will work and if it will brick my phone. Thanks.
Hi Guys. After installing lollipop on my ATT One m8 I notice worse battery and performance. I'm ready to change it over to the GPE either 4.4 or 5 but i'd rather go back to 4.4 which I've been putting off assuming there is a GPE edition of 4.4. I need the best guide to do so coming from a recently upgraded one m8 on ATT running 5.0.2. Help appreciated. Thanks.
On my Sprint G3 I had lollipop and had to revert back to KitKat to get it rooted. My question is.. what roms and google can I install safely ? My understanding is the rom has to work with what version you currently have ? I don't hardly see any roms for Sprint KitKat ? thanks for any help !
Actually there is root for lollipop. click here

Ok, new guy here so be kind. I have a Dragon Touch M8 that I upgraded from KitKat 4.4.4 to Lollypop 5.0. I am not a big fan of Lollypop 5.0 and would like to go back to KitKat 4.4.4. However, the only stock ROM that I can find is 4.4.2 which is not working with some of my apps. When I contact customer service, they send the link to the 4.4.2 rom, when the thing shipped with 4.4.4. Good grief.
Any how, lessons learned about screwing around with android and flashing a new rom with out a backup of the the original.
Would anyone have a stock Dragon Touch M8 Kitkat 4.4.4 rom? I do not have a backup of the original rom.
I have and i want to rrot because i forgett a screen lock

I bought a Z ultra off ebay (my 6th one now xD) It comes with android 5.1.1 and I looked for about 4 hours and flashed about 6 different ftf files. I'm trying to get back on 4.4.4 so I can root with SuperSU and place a custom rom on it.
So basically I need help to downgrade to 4.4.4 or a way to get a recovery on 5.1.1
C6833, thanks!
