Ranking
Hey there!
does this HDC phone really have 18 MP? I think it's only a interpolated camera. Anyway I don't think those HDC phones do have a good quality.
If your looking for a china phone ranking, check chinese-android-phones.com/china-phone-ranking/
Seems to me like those china-phones are of a good quality. I bought the Cubot ONE and it's a great phone with quad-core CPU, 13 MP camera and for less than 170$.

This list is an embarrassment. All these phones are rip-offs of phones from HTC, Samsung, Apple and LG. Why don't you try promoting some phone companies from China that doesn't cater to the stereotype view of the Chinese people (that the Chinese just copy and make fake versions of everything)? Phones from Xiaomi and Oppo for example are also quite cheap, have original designs and have genuinely good quality. In fact, the Xiaomi Mi3 is FAR more powerful than the JiaYu G5 for roughly the same price.
THL T100S is best smartphone, China's first eight-core mobile phone, will be officially sold in the January 10, I've been on thlmobilestore com site to buy one.

Actually, the Jiayu G5 retails for around $299 whereas the Mi3 is around $330. Of course, depending on where you get them from, the price difference will be different but the Mi3 is definitely not DOUBLE the price of a Jiayu G5.
chinese loge to 6 mahine hi chalega.
Cinese Jiayu G5S
I own a Jiayu G5 advanced 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM , metal case , in black .
It looks pretty much as an Iphone 5 but not really it is bigger.
Beside the GPS function , a lower volume speaker , a weaker vibration function and the flashlight wich u better
use only as a torch , pitty for the 13 MP rear camera ( I am not sure if its not software enhanced , it doesent look as a 13 MP lens )
I can say this device is aswome. Does not have full support on duals SIM but works great with redirection and CallWaiting between SIMs.
As far as I know Jiayu has a little factory who didn't copy but just build their own brand.
The G5 is very fine also from design..

A major factor when I was thinking about the same was the OS.
I had used MIUI, Stock OS and ColorOS, all three have their pros and cons.
But I knew no matter what I will pick Android One device as I like the clutter-free and clean UI.
Surely Realme 5 Pro and Mi A3 4/64 are of the same price where Realme 5 Pro gives better performance but you need to think of your Priorities.
I picked Mi A3 because:
Android One (MAJOR FACTOR)
One Hand Phone
Lighter weight
If any of the above isn't your top picks go for Realme 5 Pro.
How's ColorOS compared to MIUI/EMUI and stock Android? Realme phones aren't available in my country, so can't check them in person.
Redmi 5 pro: better processor, 400ppi screen vs 280ppi, bigger screen without being that much heavier. I've compared the A3 with a 6.4" screen and that bit of extra real estate does make the other phone feel a lot bigger
A3: OLED screen and stock Android. Of course you may not necessarily like the OLED screen because of over saturated colors, lower brightness. And maybe color os has features you like the stock Android doesn't.

I'm not familiar with ColorOS but the MIUI on my Redmi Note 4X was great even in beta versions. Nice OS for multitasking and I think that pure google OS on MI A3 is even better. I have bad experience with buggy crappy software on Blackview, Leagoo devices and i'm afraid ColorOS will be the same.

Snapdragon 712 and much better full hd display, macro vs 665 and HD+ Amoled, 32mp samsung front camera and IR blaster.
ColorOS vs Pure Stock Android
I don't even know. If the ColorOS software and custom rom development is bad, i don't think that good hardware can help.
I have a Vertu Aster P Chinese clone, purchased from here https://www.luxuryvertu.cn/ProID473.html and since buying it, I've been desperate to try and update it from the Vertu-themed Android 6.0 Marshmallow that it came with.
They lie about the phone specs on their site that I got it from. It doesn't run Android 8.0 and it doesn't have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC .The genuine Vertu Aster P runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which is what this clone should have really come with, being a late 2019 phone and to stay true to the genuine Vertu. Trouble is, being a Chinese replica, and having an MTK SoC, there is no support for it. The manufacturers refuse to provide me with the kernel source code, so I'm at a dead end in terms of any Android development.
One thing I did notice is that the 'Device Info' app shows the device as being a 'gionee6755_66_m'. See the second attachment that I've uploaded. Does this mean anything to anyone? Is it the model of a specific Gionee handset? Could this be a clue as to what the Chinese clone makers based this phone off? If so, I do know of a few threads here and there on XDA related to Gionee development.
Also, in the third screenshot attachment that I've uploaded, you can see that the icons for data connection and aeroplane mode are rubbing up against each other, suggesting that someone has made a 'quick and dirty' fix to try and get both of the icons to fit the width of this phone's screen. Which also might suggest that this ROM was actually pulled from another device. Any thoughts?

Note that you on every Android device can fake its brand and/or model: you can even make it think to be an Apple iPhone 11 Pro. You also can fake its version of Android OS. What you can't (easily) change are descriptions of installed hardware components .
So one can't really say your device is a Vertu Aster P or Gionee6755_66_m or whatever.
What I think happened is that you got screwed.

I wasn't 'screwed' as such. That's a bit of a crass term. The device is of premium quality, feels as heavy as a genuine Vertu and really does look the part. And it performs perfectly fine on Android 6.0. The phone is fast and responsive and does whatever I need it to do.
That said, it wouldn't have caused them any more distress in putting Android 9.0 onto this phone. The MT6755 Helio P10 chipset that this clone has is more than capable of running 9.0. Why they didn't is a mystery to me.
