Ok sir...
Rooted ...unlocked... cwm installed...
Which Rom ? Alien or starwars ?
No problem with English but will be great a Multilingual Rom for all international users...
pagapervedere
For the skipping sprint activation you also can freeze all apps with "sprint" (or sprint zone and sprintOmaDm as minimum) in the title via titanium backup.
They have a "stockish" rom that is in the development section that everyone is ranting about. By I personally am running the Alien ROM. which is okay. But I'd go with either Star Wars or the Stockish ROM myself. I'm gonna be flashing over the Stockish one tomorrow.
Thanks to all...
now i'm flashing Alien.....
after, if i'm not happy try others...
Good luck.
Flashing Alien rom will not skip the long network check on boot. Do not and i repeat do not freeze the Sprint zone as this causes a force close when it finishes the check upon reboot and causes it to check over and over again. (first hand experience of this)
Simple solution, put pbone into airplane mode before powering off, add the widget to your home screen. When you re boot knock it out of airplane mode and will connect to your network provider and no need to change any settings.
This was posted in another thread but cannot remember which one.

So system will not start....and blocked before entering in first setup...
PLEASE HELP ME..
Same thingh with other Roms (star wars and stockish)
^^ i am facing the same issue here.. any solution?
If your phone is unlocked then flash the full puddin SBF file using RSD. Make sure it's the big file and not the one that's around 1 - 2 mb. Once finished it will say fail, pop the battery and re boot. Should now work again and do the long network check but without force close. Then just use airplane mode before shutting down each time.
Again do not freeze or remove sprint zone, that is the cause of the force close, not the roms.
Maybe an easier way but that's what I had to do.

Freezing SprintOmaDm disables the Sprint check. However, for some reason, the slide locks are disabled.
If there's a fix, I'd love to hear it...

Looks like the pudding_stock_unlock.sbf link is no longer available. I still have it on my machine but it weighs in at just under 2.5GB (silly me, its 404MB when zipped, uploading to FileFactory now)
Think your best option at present is to go back to basics. Firstly flash the stock recovery from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216143
Then download and flash the latest ota for rsd from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202666
Then go through the process of rooting/unlocking.

Yes go through the process of erase recovery then flash the stock recovery, take note that it is .smg just in case you think its .img
Then get RSD fired up and select the official update, phone into rsd mode and wait for it to complete. If all goes well it will say you need to manually re boot your device.
Any probs let us know and will try our best

Glad you are back up and running
So you did not freeze the sprint zone at all?
When i flashed the HomeBase Photon Stock rom it went through the network check, hit ok at the end and got a force close. Must admit that never happened with the Alien rom though.
This is why now i am only rooted. Installed the latest update and just rooted. Had too many issues with custom roms, to be honnest stock is very fast and i also use ADWLauncher EX. You can also freeze/unistall the bloatware if need be, there is another thread with a list of safe apps to remove, but not sprint zone lol
Heres the link for the full Pudding_Unlock.SBF file
Hey people.
I rooted my ANDROID HTC ONE from T mobile, using a guide I found on here and the all in one toolkit.
I am using TWRP newest 2.5.0.0, I can access the bootloader and recovery, and have been sat here now looking for answers for about 5 hours.
It freezes on the HTC quietly brilliant screen.
Also says that there is no OS installed.
I am looking for help via TEAMVIEWER, or someway to get my phone working.
If you need more information please let me now ASAP so I can give it you.
UPDATE: Okay people I successfully installed the XenonHD ROM and it is now stuck in bootloop i have tried clearing the cache and it doesn't do anything, this is the only ROM that is currently working.
I have searched the net searched the post and still nothing.
I am almost got my phone back guys and am willing to DONATE or repay the favour via modding something through XBOX or whatever I can.
Please contact me soon as possible.
I am still on TEAMVIEWER.
Changed my recovery to ClockWorkMod Touch.
Still need help?

There have been a lot of posts on similar issues. You can "sideload" a ROM via ADB commands from your computer. If you can get into recovery, your phone can be fixed. I haven't done this myself (still stock), but do a search on google or xda on sideloading a ROM from ADB.

Did you clear the cache? Also, I've seen some people have to format the partitions.
EDIT: But formatting does not seem to be needed if you sideloaded successfully.

You have to be careful with No o.s installed .
Normally if u reboot when u see that you'll brick.
Without a o.s you have no bootloader..
I bricked my s3 and had to jtag it when it said no o.s I rebooted and black blank screen nothing.
I've had this happen also when choosing format system and format data /media some reason it botches the boot up .
My only fix was to sideload a rom or wipe factory and restore a nandroid .

my recomendation is that you get s -off and supercid asap so next time you run into a similar problem you can just install any ruu(note only do this if your phone has no official ruu) and work it out from there.

What you need to do is this exactly .
Dload a rom on pc reboot recovery on phone first .IMORTANT FIRST FORMAT SYSTEM.
Then when that's done choose factory reset.
Rename the rom to Rom.zip or anything you want but make sure it says.zip
Sometimes sideload won't work if roms not renamed , that's mentioned in another thread about sideloading.
Then sideload the rom
Let it load and install .
When it reboots itl take a while .
I just did this to my HTC one the other day after I got stuck after formating data media .

You have wiped your system partition. In order to get your phone working again either download a ROM from your device's forums, or download a stock ROM from Sammobile and flash it using Odin.

Use Google, there is more than enough tutorials on how to flash using Odin/CWM/TWRP.
I did do a bit of Googling for you and found this, please do verify the MODEL of your phone is "SPH-L300" before using these files:

In you first post it sounds as if you did in fact wipe everything, including your then existing ROM. Best thing to have done at that point was to use adb to push a ROM to your phone, reboot back into recovery using adb and install the pushed ROM. Even if you wiped all content of any kind, you should be able to us adb to install factory img, stock ROM, etc.
P.S. all of the above is probably still an option- using adb to restore, get into bootloader etc.
Hey all, sorry as I'm in a pinch and I've been searching XDA and other sites but have a limited time frame (sorry again)
Just picked up the Note 3 and my wife is getting my Note 2. We had to swap SIM and things at Verizon for the alternate upgrade stuff to work so we both have new SIM's and I want to wipe the Note 2 clean so she can start anew.
I have backed up everything using a few apps and was going to hit the Factory Reset but read this can screw with root and bootloader.
I just want the OS to be refreshed and clean but maintain root and unlocked. Would a Android Settings->Factory Reset be the right way or just go through TWRP and wipe the partitions be the best?
I rooted using the method by Adam for the root and unlock but have no custom ROM. Basically did it so I could do backups, update the multi-window to support more apps than Verizon allowed, etc.
Sorry to be in a short panic as I'm one to research the heck out of things before moving forward but this was a on the spot birthday purchase and now have to get her back up and online.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks.. with that second confirmation I went, albeit a bit worried, and did the factory reset.
All is well and other than the Avast Theft module I had installed as root prior, which promptly alerted the phone had been stolen and scaring the willies out of the wife; it worked as I had hoped.
Thanks everyone/xda! :good:
Hi,
I am a newbie here and rooting. I got my HTC 610 last year and unlocked the bootloader and it worked out fine.
recently, my phone keeps asking me to update so I did, but it won't flash the update in twrp, claiming that the MD5 file missing and failed to update. I ignored this for a while but then I decided to give it a try. searching through the internet how to do it, accidentally wiped the OS. Then it stuck on the HTC logo screen, I held the power and vol + to turn it off. and now get into the TWRP Recovery.
May anyone please help me that how I can fix this? thank you thank you very much.

So what you are going to want to do is download the ROM for your region (America, European, or Asia) and then send it to your phone via your PC and flash it through twrp. Or, you can do the same process but with the cyanogenmod for your phone if you prefer

Yeah less bloat and useless c*** loaded on. Stock HTC ROM just doesn't work with 8gb...cm11 is a lot more fluid and smoother and takes up less space.
This helped
