Hi there,
Does anybody know how the settings from the camera are coded ? in bios or firmware e.g. or is it within the camera app.
I would like to tweak the WB on auto setting. i find it often 1000k to cold.
Could this be done with commands in adb?
@MOD please move thread ive overlooked the rules section

i have seen many many threads for other phones that point out changes that can be made in build.prop and default.prop. i have looked at both of these and dont see the settings mentioned the X10's settings must be called from something where is it and is it possible to change them?

Hi , I'm new here.
As I'm graphic designer (Large Format printing store) , its hard 4 me to see the 8~12MP cameras images that are pretty useless as large images! they lake all the details, no sharpening or aggressive sharpening, and very aggressive noise redaction algorithms.
I was wandering I we can make small camera apk that will take photos via the camera apk we choose, shoot at highest MP and than take the pic and do the following actions:
sharpening(normal)
Img downsize to 50% Via Bicubic sharper method (no need those useless large images)
sharpening(normal)
add noise - in Photoshop its 2%, Uniform, Monochromatic (bcz images are too smooth and unrealistic)
and save image.
in this simple method we will get more realistic, detailed images in effective size.
those are simple filters that I believe can work on android (?) there are java software with those filters http://www.jhlabs.com/ip/filters/

Yes, that´s possible.

sorry I didn't know- I assumed it was related to developing section.
If this possible who can help to make it happen?
Is it hard to code?
all that the apk need to do is receive image file from existing camera apk and add sharpening filter downsize it to 50% of the MP,
this way we would have great shots with our cameras!
Has anyone noticed an issue where camera apps will be missing the UI? For instance, Pano a very popular panorama app and even some of the video apps like MX player will have this issue where the image you are viewing draws on top of the UI making it unable to be seen. I am running AOKP Milestone 1 but unfortunately do not have enough posts yet to put this there.
Any info would be greatly appreciated as it causes me a lot of issues.
I apologize if this is in the wrong location but I had a question and am hoping to find the answer.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Go into Settings / Developer Options and check "Disable HW overlays".
Hello everyone,
I tried to search for this in the various sections of the forum and also on the play store but couldn't come up with a solution; I am using AOSB (KK edition) with dorimanx's kernel and have sort of an issue with my display's color settings: they are way over-contrasted, I tried to check my settings using a testing app, and seems like they are set at a value of 255 (out of 255). Dorimanx's STweaks doesn't seem to help much, it has gamma correction but no contrast setting... Any suggestion on how to lower them? Either numerically or via third party app, or even another kernel.. Everything is accepted!
[EDIT] Fixed by moving to another Kernel [/EDIT]
Hi, I have asked this on another forum, but no one knows the answer, and wanted to try here.
Is there any android app which can change video orientation, like we can for images, but for video?
What I need --> youtu dot be slash oe5Uo4XZcVY
I don't need usual rotation, but manual orientation. Maybe someone call this changing the horizont.
Thanks in advance
