Into mipmap folder into apk, simply open it with a Zip program, go to res folder and you'll find it

With 7-Zip open apk and go to res/mipmap folders, change icon with the one into zip

Which apk are you talking of? I've downloaded the file you linked and it's a simple zip containing the icons. Where's the apk?

Let´s Start:
1-Pick up systemui.apk and framework-res.apk (With root explorer or ADB etc)from your rom you want to modify.
And put it on folder and rename to any name (to make easy differentiate)
systemui.apk : System/app
framework-res.apk: system/framework
2- Right click on systemui.apk,and go to 7zip>Extract to systemui\" (The same for framework-res.apk)
Now you gonna see two folders: systemui and framework-res.
Lets "edit" systemui.apk:
Open framework-res> res > drawable-ldpi
Leave drawable-ldpi open
3- Creat other folder on desktop with different name,and put the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk of other rom..etc...contain the icons your want..

Leave this folder on too
4- Resize the windows,and go to same folder,like this:
5- Copy icons your want (S3 wifi in my example)
And replace for hyperion icons (in my example)
Now you have replaced,the wifi icons:
6- Back on your folder,with original systemui.apk of your rom.
Right click on systemui.apk and : 7-zip> Open archive
7-
On 7-Zip window,Navigate to Res\drawable-ldpi\
Select wifi icons you have replaced,and DRAG N DROP ON 7-zip (drawable-ldpi folder)
And Select YES
DONE,Now: Pick up you "EDITED" systemui.apk and replace on your rom:
(Root explorer Ex) And Set Permissions to:

In attachment are my original framework-res.apk from LX CM11.0 KitKat (build 20130113 anzu) and some icons of the Sony battery.
Can you put this new icons to framework-res.apk and send back to me new framework-res.apk?
My goals are to change original ugly battery icon on the Status Bar with more beautiful Sony icon.
I tried doing it by myself but without any success
I'm getting bootloop

Framework-res.apk works but battery icon don't changes
I don't know where is the problem. Maybe I have to wipe dalvic?!?!
Can you give me detailed procedure to compile/decompile framework-res.apk?
I'm using AndroidMultitool on Win8. I'm decompiling/compyling without any errors but when put it to system/framework directory with right permissions it gives me bootloop on bootanimation
Edit: Wiping of the dalvic and system cache doesn't solve the problem with battery icon
Maybe new icons have to put in res/drawable-xhdpi too

In system/priv-app systemui.apk I can see only ic_qs_battery_neutral.png
Nothing else...
The others icons are for doc charging.
so idk where they are, I was looking in fw and sui in every folder with icons and I didn't find them

Mike (the dev of CM11.0 LegacyXperia KitKat) told me that battery icon is real-time rendered and can't be changed through framework-res.apk
And what is new in your newest version 20140121?
nothing is new ( icons etc ) new are only apks ( fw and sui ) from the newest nightly

Hello All,
I tweaked the SystemUI of DN4 V2.1 with MODv7 and modified the quick setting icons and toggle style to ios style. With XPOSED module Blurred System UI, you can achieve the look as in screenshots.
Disclaimer: This is tested only on DN4 v2.1 with MODv7 with 320 DPI. I am not responsible for bricked devices!!
Installation Instructions:
Better have backup (Nandroid ).
Open Root Explorer, or ES File Expolorer (with Root enabled).
Go to /system/priv-app/
Backup SystemUI.apk
Copy the downloaded SystemUI.apk and paste in /system/priv-app/ (ignore SystemUI FC after replacing)
Change the permissions of SystemUI.apk to rw -r -r
Reboot system.
If you face any issues restore the SystemUI.apk from your backup.

Go to Xposed->Modules->Select Blurred system UI.

I am not using og or 3minit battery mods, hence I can't test. In any case, you can try it after having a backup. If it doesn't work then share your systemui.apk and I will mod it for you.
Hi! I'm here again with the new S6 LAUNCHER with the black status bar fixed (you must choose a picture or wallpaper from Gallery, with stock wallpapers black statusbar still present)
I modded it with help of recognized devs in this forum and I get that. The lag its reduced in a 70% and is more lighter.
To all devs, please if you wanna use my work just tell me and give me credits

-Added alphabetical order in app drawer
-Deleted theme store (cause it will FC)

-If you are in ODEX, delete previous arm folder.
-Copy and paste my TouchWizHome_ZERO.apk to the route system/priv-app/TouchWizHome_K and give permissions rw-r-r--
-Copy libs files (are inside of arm/lib folder of my Home and copy and paste in system/lib and give permissions rw-r-r--
-Reboot your phone

Choose a wallpaper from gallery, It doesn't works with system wallpapers.

how to install?
1. backup from your rom or systemui.apk
2.copy this file to /system/priv-app/systemui folder and overwrite to previous apk.
3.delete arm folder if you are on a odex rom
3. fix premissions to 644 .
4.reboot.
how to add torch to quick settings?
1.install sqlite editor.
2.open it and find setting storage(it has different name from one language to another one. i'm in English system language)
3.select settings.db
4.select system
5.in toolbar section u find a search icon.press it and wright "notification"
6.in the results find "notification_panel_active_app_list_for_reset" and edit it's value.
7.here is a list of your toggles when u press reset button(u can see reset button what i mean here )
8.so you should add "TorchLight"( not "torchlight") to this list with a commo(";") and also arrange the toggles just here .u can't rearrange toggles in settings .it cause to disappearing of torch button.
this is my arrange (that you can see in image):"Wifi;MobileData;SilentMode;autoRotation;Torchlight;Bluetooth; . . . "
9.then go to settings app and press reset button.this
10.it should be added now.

Is there any option how to turn whole UI into black? We have samoled so its battery friendly if you could do it i will realy appreciate also settings and other things not only notification bar

I changed the font with the App "font installer"
I changed it in system but in lockscreen was no changes.

i try to find the soloution.
i love miui lockscreen clock font.
but until now i can't change it.
i think it's an image not text.so font changing don't change it.

but this is v3 and don't have wifi name under the wifi tile.

Hmm things that I'd like to see in the next versions would be:
1. Unlock effects from newer touchwiz
2. A optional version with no s finder and quick connect bar
3. A torch button in the quick settings
4. The settings app doesnt get affected by the themes so if it would that would be great and I guess its the settings.apk so it has nothing to do with the systemui.apk

Will you release marshmallow touchwiz ui?
For many s6 and note 5 features like camera settings a ported settings.apk is needed i tried flashing a zip i made with settings.apk from a ported rom(can't remember which one)and got this but space between buttons werent corrected and some settings didnt work
When I try to copy System. Ui to the system folder it's doing reset.
I cant replace the files and no to delete abd copy.

It's easier to just replace the SystemUI than to find the apk of xposed installer then the zip then go to recovery then flash then install apk then install wanam xposed then find the setting to remove it then remove... or the other option... replace SystemUI and reboot
Thanks, but no weather informations on lockscreen ... Is it due to my weater.apk file or anything else ?
