I don't have any internet connection on my newly activated LG Optimus G E970. I have it on the Metro PCS Network. I can make calls and send texts but no internet. The Phone is unlocked but I'm not sure what the issue is. Any suggestions on how to fix this??

Is the Verizon phone the same as the Rogers Canada version? I recently replaced my G2 D803 with a G3 D852. Now, on the Phone Claim website, my G2 was listed as the VS980 and the G3 was listed as the VS985. Just wondering what kind of ROMs I could use on my phone since there's never any subforum for Canadian variants.

No. Their devices are closer to ATT as most of the world uses gsm and not the old cdma tech.

I have not worked on modding LG for a while but I bought my son a Sprint LG G8X ThinQ from a neighbor and my service is AT&T. I was confident I could carrier unlock it and flash an AT&T firmware on it but I have no luck searching the internet. XDA is usually my goto but I'm not seeing much here for this model. Any help would be appreciated.
