Snap Camera App G4-Edition
This camera app was mainly created for use on AOSP based roms and is now the default camera app on CyanogenMod.
It's based on Qualcomms Snapdragon Camera App and modified for LG G4.
The version that is built into CyanogenMod is mostly newer than this package!

Zip is only flashable on h811 and h815.
With little modification of the updater_script you can give it a try.
i've flashed v5 and all seems to work fine expect galery. I have problems on coming to galery. Its difficult to open the gallery from the camera:/ can someone confirm that ?

This looks awesome!! But first a question. How to update these apps when a new .zip is released?
Is there also a way to remove this app once flashed?
No raw option as far as i can tell. 4k recording is also not available. Still the best cam app for cm. I don't miss stock one bit. When there is a new update you just have to flash it. I don't know how to remove it, but then again why would you want to do that?
Guinea pig here: does not work on stock marshmallow, force closes. If there is an easy/moderate solution, I'd love to try.

As it says in OP, this Camera will only work on AOSP based Roms like Cyanogenmod. So no Stock Rom

Here is a ROM for all you G3 users. I will be releasing it as soon as the BUMP Unlock website is up and the instructions for BUMPing a ROM is released.
SDPY ROM focuses on speedy and features an ART runtime optimised for LG's hardware. It is based on Android 4.4 KitKat with G3 stock icons for the apps.
The DPI has been changed from the stock 640 DPI (which at 1440x2560 would mean the phone is 4.7") to 530 DPI (closer to 5.5").
I have forked and compiled my own android runtime from ART sources with optimisations for the LG G3's hardware for use in this ROM.

- Bluetooth

- Laser Auto Focus (It is being handled by the hardware for now)
- IR Blaster

- Knock On (this is a software feature, but I'm adding it to the ROM as many G3 users like it)

I am guessing it is a themed stock based rom, but I might be wrong.
Also your benchmarks, they are not much use to use unless you tell us what model of the phone you were using, does it have 2 or 3GB of ram?

I can see the icons are stock, so I'm guessing this is stock based?
Did you somehow modify the kernel?, that's only the reason I can think of for it to need bumping......
Is it possible for you to share the rom, so we can try it prior to the release of bumping method? =)

The ROM itself is AOSP however I am using the stock LG icons as I like the look of them.

well even if it was a stock based rom (which he has now said it is not) if the kernel has been tweaked or modified in any way then you need to Bump the image.

the d855 actually comes in both 16gb (2gb Ram) and 32GB (3GB ram) so pointing to the model number doesn't necessarily answer the question. But thank you for the clarification.
Is all the hardware working?
I have ironed out most of the major bugs with the hardware, however, cellular reception is not as good as it was with stock ROM, I'm not sure what the issue is yet (pointers anyone), but I hope to find it soon. Bluetooth does play up at times, but it is tolerable (maybe for about 5 minutes just after pairing).

My Macbook is in for a screen replacement so yeah, I'm not able to access any of the files on it to upload here or continue devving the ROM for a while.

I don't think they would, as it's a screen replacement. It would be devastating if they did, I probably should have made a backup in hindsight. Ahh hindsight, thou amazes me.
Well, Oxygen is a nice rom, but something is missing

Yes, just flash it through recovery like any other rom.

Is there a way to use it in MultiROM? I read that there is a new bootloader, so I think it's causing boot problems if installed as secondary ROM (always stuck at 1+ logo)

No its just a AudioFX , MaxxAudioFX causing issues..
About Multirom, I gave a try to the stock OxygenOS as a secondary rom. (not seen this before...)
Result: nor is it working, but the secondary roms (CM12, RR 5.0.2, and RR 5.1) are unusuable, but only the Euphoria one... Don't know why..
I will give a try @CraZY_BoY^'s rom later, probably tomorrow.

Google app is required for Start launcher, i wont replace it for now.

But i have root... I use PowerAMP, but Eleven and AudioFX are working. Have you clean flashed?

I came from cloudy 3.3. and rom butted fine, you have g4 camera with full control, also included xcam and google cam, so yeah everything needed for taking good pictures.

On this forum there is already a 60FPS Camera Mod, with the only issue it's based on the old camera app (from Lollipop - And if you flash that on a G4 running MW, it will revert to the old camera app). Following the example provided from that mod, I've managed to port the 60FPS Camera Mod to the latest version of the camera app you can find on MW. I'm using the 'meta-inf' folder from that mod aswell since it simply uses the same installation method as the other mod.
Beware that this mod do not increases photo's quality of video bitrate.
It was a sub-5 minute job after I understood how this works, so I don't want to take any special credit for this.
Instead, huge thanks to Pfeffernuss for laying down the path to this mod.

Installation:
Use TWRP or any other recovery to flash the ZIP.
Alternatively, you can take out the two XML files from the ZIP (system > etc) and replace them manually using a file explorer with root access (Like FX File explorer or similar).
You can also find the stock camera ZIP if you want to revert back.

One issue I was experiencing with the 60FPS mod from Pfeffernuss is vignette effect when recording videos. With this one I'm not having that side effect. Anybody else can confirm?

Nope, I didn't have that effect and I didn't test your mod yet. Another question: Can I dirty flash your mod over the Mod from Pfeffernuss?

It should work since it replaces the same files.
Just make sure you are on marshmallow as the files are for the latest iteration of the LG Camera App.

Impossible.
This mod is the same as in the other thread (which obviously doesn't "overwrite" the camera app at all)

Your is based on the camera files from Lollipop, this one on the camera app from Marshmallow.
There were some minor differences when I compared the two original versions (apart from some modes being placed in different places)
It was possible that vignetting was appending because I was using the yours on 6.0 or not. Not too sure, but I can tell I'm not having that weird effect with this one.

Yes the app is untouched, but the configuration files have some difference I'm saying.
Still not sure of those difference are the cause of that vignetting or not, but I prefer having those based on the latest version

Now im watching the cm13 bootanimation for 30mins and nothing happens.
Someone know a solution maybe?

just flash the camera on my costum rom. the photo is working fine, but video recording as well as slow motion and time lapse isn't working. When i press the shutter button it says "recording stoped due to an error".

Flash again mine slow motion is working a bit ok for me
so its not compatible with stock EMUI, right?
we can only use this on custom ROMs like RR, Lineage etc? because camera is the only thing I stay with stock

Hehe then will have to wait till early next year for 6X to get it. But it works in custom right? I only like camera in stock

even if ther was a 7.1 emui (5.1), this wont work
and also, an update is coming, with a fix for pro mode
