Hi I was just wondering if anyone was working on or planned on working on a miui rom for the Max. It's really a great rom and has a good ui. But thanks in advance for any response. Just Curious

If I new how to create roms and stuff I would do it myself but I just don't have the time to learn I have a very busy schedual. I went on to the officail miui forums porting section and many people are wanting it there but no one is porting it.

One day it will happen! Its so smooth and battery life is amazing. I'll have to have a look around and see if I can get someone to consider porting it to one max

i will try to ported as lollipop 5.0.2 so we won't have to downgrade firmware. i will have to mod Boot.img for all 3 variants.
I have international version so i'll gladly test whatever you achieve. Too bad i don't know how to develop such builds, i always wanted to participate in this kind of work

No, been working on Y6 release. Don't worry you guys will get a miui rom. I'll provide updates so you guys can test. But we need a base rom first.

I recently rooted my phone in hope of making it faster and better. I used twrp with recovery and I do have a back up.
Stock Light
Stock Light is the only rom for metropcs sorry I cant leave link. Just search Stock Light Update. The rom is on androidforums and makes the phone look like stock kitkat

There's a rom called TigerLilly Rom for the t399n on xda and it works on both variants the tmo and metropcs. I just installed it today and no issues whatsoever.

Well it seems to me that there has started to be more roms on this device. Im coming back to development and will be working on MixClean Mod again. This device is losing popularity and isnt even my daily driver anyomore but I will continue in this community

Yeah I was developing a while back but then I decided to get a new phone and I forgot about this phone until I found the Galaxy Light in my room and now want to work on this some more

I have metro and am willing to give it a go. I hate stock on this phone haha so anything is better. I have used the CM12 in the past but its too unstable for me to use
I have the metropcs variant T399N and would be more than willing to help test and give feedback, let me know

Lol! I think just about any other xda forum wouldve come to the conclusion that this one's a dud and moved on by now (probably to a different custom rom). But we're so hopeful to get something working on this phone that we'll embrace the illusion a little longer. Its not a put down because i keep coming back to see eventhough i know if it worked we wouldve been aware probably on day one...certainly by day 7.

Yeah I'm still holding my breath only to make my wife's phone fully functional....if I had the extra cash then I would've bought her something a little better already

I'm actually willing to create a custom rom which is based on GT-I9500 lollipop and ported SM-N910C lollipop.
I searched and tried to learn my self but didn't succeed, then I decided to try to get some help from you here, hopefully I get the required help to create my custom rom and also be able to understand any issue coming over and solve it.
I found guides to port kitkat rom and cyanogenmod based rom which are unfortunately don't match my request.
It would be much appreciated if anyone would spend some of his time to teach me, and I have the full desire to learn :good:

I was trying to do the same thing mate. Note 4 port for s4. Hoping that someone may reply.
I am confused with the resolution becuz all guides say that both devices must have same resolution.

It will be a few months since the j6 came out but we still have no news about customs roms on this phone. Would anyone have any information about this, and is it possible to flash j7 (2016) roms on j6 since they have the same processors? Thank you in advance for answers .

It's Touchwiz. I don't like nor use AOSP
That's great man . I don't know how to create a rom , but if u need some suggestion, help, my brain's full of idea , things (extra-feature , extra-app just like viper4android ) that people would see on any touchwiz rom . That's my telegram @sokazuya

I'm going to have to wait another 7 days to regain root, only 70 hours to go now xD

For me, I flashed stock rom, right after it I flashed TWRP, noviety and rmm disable zip (2zips) and it worked. I had not to wait for 7 days.

If you are rooted you can just change the build.prop
But, may I ask why you want to switch to J600F?

I think he meant that he wanted to change his device's model. Really. Not just visual like that build.prop edit.

Hi. I created my account for realme 1's root and custom roms. Since we have received kernel source, we have unlocked bootloader, someone has developed TWRP. Can we please get a good custom rom? I am requesting is there anyone who is making it or is going to make it please let me know.. Otherwise i should just stop expecting much now.. Because its been a while..
