The last two good CM12.1 nightly builds were removed from their web site. I appreciate if someone can provide download for the following two loads.
cm-12.1-20151210-NIGHTLY-flounder_lte.zip
cm-12.1-20151210-NIGHTLY-flounder.zip
Thanks,
HC
Actually I am looking for these files, too. The link leads to a 404 error. If anybody can help out, it would be much appreciated.

I've seen several references to an alpha version of Gingerbread sources posted by Dell, so I looked here:
http://opensource.dell.com/releases/streak/
It appears Dell removed the Gingerbread folder. Does anybody know if they are still available somewhere?
This thread has something relevant, but I'd like to see the source as Dell posted it.

Tried to post this on the development forum, but I don't have the post count to do so.
Thanks.

I really dont know why they removed it, but I have the source.
I'll stick it in my dropbox..
If you want to get involved with getting it working better then I'm more than happy to share it! as I am having a bear with sensors .
Thank you very much. I've been following your progress on the Gingerstreak thread and wondered where you got the sources.
Off course I'd like to get involved, although this would be the second time I try to compile Android (the first was for a Sharp Netwalker, which I failed miserably - the kernel booted a console, but never got the Android system to come up). I have experience programming in C for microcontrollers but never worked on something this big before.
Just give me some pointers and I'll try my best =)
well its best to discuss it on IRC #dellstreak, but building the kernel isn't hard (once you got past the typos and static links in the source code).
sounds like you needed to work on the ramdisk, on your sharp.
we have all that working, but any help investigating why the sensors/power is messed up is very much appreciated.
I'll up the code now, I did start to set up a gitweb, but for some reason (quite possibly my stupidity) it doesnt want to sync with my source

I want to learn how to build CM 10.2 from source, I have followed the thread on here how to but am having difficulty with erroring out during the build. I am building on an old P.O.S. Dell Inspiron. When it errors out and freezes how do I start troubleshooting what went wrong? Is there a build log, or error log that I can look at to see what the possible reasons are. I am not a developer I am a noob....very green but I want to learn. Even if someone gives a link for me to RTFM I am ok with that. I only found build instructions but nothing to help me troubleshoot.
Thank you for any help. I really appreciate any arrows in the right direction.
got it
Never mind. Got one built. Now time to test.
Cm 10.2
Second time I build Cyanogen 10.2. Running decent. I am no where close to being a dev, but I enjoy learning about it.
I can at least make my own builds now.
JaimeD81
If you are interested in building CyanogenMod 10.2 JaimeD81's post is awesome.
Followed it and started building and now running my own builds on my device.
I hate that you have to post 10 times before you can ask questions in the thread.
I want more things to read so I can learn how to add/remove items from the builds.
If any devs out there see this please post links or give reference material for me to read.
Thank you
"The G2 Dream Team" (and they well deserve that name) has released not one, but TWO lollipop builds for the LG G2. Both ROMs are based on the same build tree, but one ROM is CM12 and the other is a LiquidSmooth 4.0 ROM. Despite being built from the same build tree, they carry different features. They are stable and usable for daily drivers, but they may carry some bugs, like a non-functional video playback, NFC issues for LS/VS980 but it should all be sorted out in the near future. Head over to the threads to read more!:

Older posts:
An increasing amount of devices have been receiving unofficial Android Lollipop 5.0 ports, like the HTC One M8 and the LG Optimus L9. Today another device can be added to the list of phones receiving a treatment with the taste of Android Lollipop, the LG G2. While there generally has been a wide contribution from the community; testing, sharing files and giving ideas, two XDA members stood out in particular in order to create the build, @ylukasy and @InfinitusDesigner. The port is still in a very early pre-alpha stage, and the bugs are barely known yet, but the ROM boots and has even been rooted! While it might be wisest to wait until an official thread has been made before grabbing your devices and start flashing, @ylukasy has already provided a download link for the ROM, and calls for people to help discover the bugs so that they can be eliminated. Please notice that the ROM might not be stable enough to be used as a daily driver, but owners of a LG G2 are officially an important step closer to having a stable Lollipop ROM!
If this post caught your interest and you're willing to take the risk, head over to the last pages in the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/unofficial-cm12-nexus-5-posted-t2936398
As previously mentioned, a lot of things are not sorted out yet, and the build might not be for your device number, so make sure you read the entire thread before continuing, or simply wait untill an official thread is made.
Update:
An official thread has been posted and it can be found by following this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/rom-android-lollipop-fast-clean-t2941922
The build is a port of the Nexus 5 ROM, and users of the ROM have been saying that the rom is very fast and fluid, calls work, camera works (although the quality is inferior), but other users have been reporting random reboots and incompatibilities with certain apps such as YouTube or WhatsApp.

This post will be updated regularly when new information regarding Lollipop ports surface.
Fantastic News! Will get round to trying it shortly, thanks for the link!
While I have my doubts about it being functional (or even booting) on my LS980, I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
Nice to see things moving at breakneck speeds these days.
On a side note, I just read the AnandTech review of the Nexus 6 and am happy to report that my well over a year old G2 beats it in several benchmarks so I'm pretty satisfied at the moment, especially considering I got it for free. I mean really...
In before "no build for xxxx?!?!?!?"
Anyone know how to port a d802 rom to d800?
Ready to try it out and see what happened..??
his build is from the same source the other was he doesn't deserve credit for it. it's using cm12 kernel and dev claims it's using nexus 5 port yet requires gapps and no signs of any nexus 5 code at all.
Wouldn't it be alot easier to just post the download link here?

It's not my work, and there are some steps which must be followed in order to make it work. I am just objectively informing any news regarding Android Lollipop for the LG G2.
OP has been updated.
The download link was removed before i could get the v3 version so im stuck with v2 and ive been using it as my daily (yeah it reboots every 5 minuets and i can leave wifi on or it will bootloop) But honestly thats the fun in testing this stuff out

TY !
Can anyone port the Nexus 5 ROM?
Updating this thread later today if nothing gets in the way.
Hi everybody!!
I need a tester please:
I built pure AOSP for the D802 from sources of Android right now, has anybody time to test it?
It is an experimental build and I didn't test it right now, so I don't know if it is working, please make a backup from your current rom.
The build comes with an built in CWM recovery and should be with root access. It can be flashed with the same instructions like the CM 12 build.
Edit: Bootloop right now ... Anybody, can you take a logcat?
http://builds.hubdroid.com/otherroms/aosp_d802-ota-102.zip
Thank you in advance!! Please anybody who tries it: can you send me a pm?

I'd love to test this for you, but I'm on Sprint LS980 Would you mind making a build for us?

Yes sure, but right now, I have to solve the bug, that the d802 wouldnt boot, so this may take some more time until I build it for other devices too.
Regards
Any one test this rom https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224410391 ?
changelog??
It's legit and runs fine. I've used the other three updates of this rom by the same Dev PSSGCSim. If you check the wip thread for lineage in the forum dedicated to lineage you can scroll down and see an unofficial build link that will show all unofficial builds for all devices that have one already all ROMs from that link are legit and if you found this one (which I did see it there this morning) then it's legit and seeing the devs name more frequently there is more assurance that it's safe. That page it's just were third party unofficial builds that are not made by the lineage team are going cause they are still working on their new site and trying to get builds official. They released the source to open public so anyone can make their own build. so far everyone I've seen for onyx is perfectly safe to flash. All ROMs by this dev do require custom kernel to bout though I use arsenic kernel. You can find it here on XDA. Hope this helps.
For the changelog see (ugh, can't post urls yet, cause I'm new, hope this helps anyhow): triple w dot cmxlog dot com slash 14.1
Seems to be already updated to reflect LineageOS instead of CM since few days back. Nice progress, I think.

Shelf is an OOS specificity.
But you can try some launcher's that have a lot of options replacing this.
Pretty sure there's a page for this Dev but he closed the thread as soon as Ashwin started posting builds.

Hey guys!
I was wondering if you guys maybe have an AOSP-like Gingerbread custom rom for i9100. And no, im not crazy cuz i want to use 2.3,its nostalgic so if pls can SOMEONE source the file ill be happy
While I'd guess these links are not archived and doubt whether any of these files are out there somewhere, still there's examples of filenames you could try for here and presumably in nearby (temporal/time-wise) snapshots, thanks to the great WayBack machine :
https://web.archive.org/web/20130923051839/http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=galaxys2
If desperate for even more filenames, there's 1.3GB CM catalog archived at https://itvends.com/android/ (thanks to subreddit and re-tweet by official LineageAndroid account)
Wishing you serious luck!
