I received this box today and i'm setting it up as a replacement for a mediacenter.

more apps installing as we speak
But now my deal-breaker issue is that torrent clients (flud, ttorrent) cannot write to SATA (mounted as external device).
However ES Explorer and the built-in explorer can create folders there.
Ideas? I'm about to flash the ezupdate root from Tronsmart..

So it seems unable to unpack the system.img and the boot.img so i can't repack it into a cm7 rom to flash, any help would be much appreciated and I'm not expecting any miracles Thanks.
Ok, would really like some help with this if anyone can, I've also tried using afptool on the root of my c drive and still no luck, gives the same read out as before and as a long shot I tried unyaffs but obviously that didn't work either.

I have Pentagram Tab 8.4, but Pentagram is only importer... There's many similar Tablets on AliExpress etc.
Probably the real brand is ONDA. Tab 8.4 (8") is version for schools. I must use this crap and it's very annoying tablet...
So, I wan't to install AOKP or CM9/10 for "normal" use, on stock ICS is a tragedy, lags, resets etc. (I'd tryed from HERE ROM and all onda's compability zips, but only stays on boot logo)

As title says I have bought a relatively unknown Rockchip Android Smart-TV stick - Andersson ADS2.1 - as far as I know - only marketed in Sweden.
I am well aware of this probably being one of the already known chinese types out there - only rebranded for this store and for the Swedish Market.
I was hoping someone around here would be able to help me gather some info on it? Whether I can update it with better / newer firmware - or flash any type of ROM - CM11 or something such...
I HAVE managed to ROOT it using something chinese. If needed I'll be happy to supply a link for it.
Just the way it is right now - I have found no way of installing a working advanced Power Menu, and not even ClockworkMod.
Also the GUI is almost unbearably unpractical. Programs don't shut down unless I kill them in Process Killer, there is no SOFT option of restarting the stick, only option is holding down power on the device itself for 10 seconds.

Try to search "super U" on play store, this is similar to most of android device.

You may need a HUB, but I think 2 USB port is enough, try flash with sdcard

Android boots allso in to 4k. So accutally hdcp is working. (some parts)
Not the 720p screen to fake 1080p. Real 4k output
