So yeah, the title says it.
My phone is an Acer Liquid Z500 with stock ROM and I accidentally uninstalled the Acer OOBE app without having a backup.
Can someone with the same device to provide me with a backup of the app (with Titanium Backup or similar) or to link me to the apk file?
thanks for the attention!

hey guys, so i while back i had made a backup of the asus app backup app. and i had then uninstalled it.
but now it seems the backup didnt work, so i can't install the new ota update.
could someone please upload the apk file for the
ASUS APP BACKUP app
so that i can update
I've created a backup called "app +data (easy import)".
Now I can't find any option to restore an app from this backup.
Not from dropbox nor from a titanium backup folder.
Titanium does not see this file and says there is no backup for that app.
So how to restore an app from this kind of backup??
Try clicking on the backup file either in Dropbox or the local file system and running it. Titanium Backup will then ask if you want to restore the app and or data. I know I saved my backup in Gmail, and after downloading, I just press view in Gmail itself and TiBackup will show that dialog.

it was enough to update to the nevest verssion.
Now I have a bigger problem.
It does not restore any data of system apps.
Not Go Launcher, nor Go sms, or rom settings are being restored.
I've tried to flash the rom again an then restore - no result.
How to force titanium to restore system apps data?
ps. I was able to do it before. It's just stopped working.
Hi I am having similar problems, backed up using easy backup apk & data, sent via gmail to my other phone with Titanium backup on it, when I open it TB recognises it and says please wait, but nothing happens the app does not install. It is only a widget that I want installed but its not having it :crying:
Also I have a tf101 which is not rooted is there anyway I can unzip without TB to use this free widget as its not on the general market, I have a paid version of TB and using the latest release, but obviously not on the tf101.
Any help appreciated as it is frustrating I cannot save apks to other phones.
Thanks

I never found the correct answer to this question, which - from my experience - is a rather improbable one. This is the answer:
Find your TiBkp file with some kind of file explorer. In my case: I used "root explorer", probably any other one will do as well. Tap on it.
You will see: "No activity found to open this file."
Your options are
a) cancel
b) open as.
Choose "open as".
Now you get a lot of options (I see seven). One of them is: APK file. Choose it.
Now you may select an "option for null" (probably the null refers to the unknown file extension TiBkp) .
The options are: cancel, view and Install.
Choose install.
Now you get the option from Titanium backup to restore your files. And that works perfectly.....
Cheers :victory:
Hello, i Know this thread is old, but i seem to have run into the same problem. My tibkp file is grayed out and i can't access it. and when i navigate to it and try to open it, it won't give an option to open it with Titanium. Help please. Thank you
PS I have a rooted S7 Edge. Thank you
Hm.. I'm having a similar issue: I can't import .TiBKP files anymore; two devices, S6 Edge running SuperSU-rooted nougat, and Tab S2 running magiskSU-rooted nougat (in both cases the nougat itself is from samsung)
Hello im having troubles backing up an app.
Whenever i back up i get three files (.apk .tar and one PROPERTIES) instead of the .TiBkp. I cant restore said files.
Help please.
New phone, Old problem. Trying to use .TiBKP files to migrate apps&settings from my old phone to my new one, rather than just simply copy everything using smart switch, but opening them in Titanium Backup is NOT an option for .TiBKP files.
Any hints?
Ok, so i have made backup via titaniumbackup earlier. i installed few custom roms to my Samsung galaxy S3 and restored my apps succesfully to that rom. however i didnt like those roms that much so i installed the old stock rom back. this process unrooted my phone, now im running stock galaxy s3. i went to play store and downloaded titaniumbackup + the pro license which i have. i went to the app and saw there were no backups or anything, i went to my phone files and saw my titaniumbackup folder to be emty for some reason.
Now the question, after i did backup to my phone earlier, i copied titaniumbackup folder(with app files data etc) to my pc.
Is it possible to do a succesfull backup of these files if i copy the titaniumbackup folder to my phone? (apps+data are in that folder)

In order for Titanium Backup to work you'll need to re-root your phone because you mentioned you lost root when restoring the stock ROM. After you have regained root access place the contents of your previous backup into the empty Titanium Backup folder then use Titanium Backup's restore function to restore the backup you transferred from your computer to your phone.

When I try to recover my apps using Titanium Backup's "Extract from Nandroid" feature, it says "Could not find any data in this TWRP backup"
The files in my TWRP backup folder are
data.ext4.win000
data.ext4.win001
data.ext4.win002
md5 for the above
recover.log
Any help would be appreciated
Yup, same problem here. Im on a Galaxy Nexus running XenonHD and TWRP.
I've tried unpacking them on my pc, so i could use an emulator and run my phone through there.
That kinda works, and using Titanium Backup, it seems to extract it without an error. But afterwards, the app is very glitchy.
Im guessing Titanium Backup doesnt really do well on TWRP as i had no problems using clockworkmod.
I'm experiencing the same problem running Marshmallow trying to restore apps from a TWRP backup (Galaxy S4). At first, Titanium backup just refused to even see the backup files (although it accepts the containing folder as a backup location). Once it finally and magically accepted to see the backups it now tells me that it cant find any data in them...
Has anyone solved this yet?
Running with OnePlus one. I'm still at the ROM & Device discovery stage. Trying custom ROMs and constantly reinstalling my apps. I'm not comfortable using Cloud BackUp or Google Sync.
What I would like to do is to create a backup of My favorite apps & contacts to store on Slackware box, that I can restore onto whatever ROM I choose to try on my OnePlus one but don't know how.
Need to know will a backup using TWRP, of System, Data, Boot, Cache will Restore my Contacts and Apps?
Also, can I remove Google Calendar, and Cloud Notes from ColorOS ver 2.0.6i.US_Fun rom? If yes, how? So I'm looking at Titanium Backup Free versioin, Ultimate Backup Free, App Backup & Restore Free, Easy Backup & Restore, System app remover, Super Backup: SMS & Contacts?
Yes, I'm rooted, have TWRP installed, ADB & Fastboot, Busybox is installed, ES File manager, & Terminal Emulator. If I can achieve what I want to do with software that is installed instead of downloading more, please just tell me how. I have searched this forum and read but I still need direction.
Thank you.

Could you try copy and paste Android Folder then just click on that applications one by one.
