How to Stop Automatic Closing App - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Moto X Force on Android 6.0 (of course, rooted, bootloader unlocked, Xposed ...)
This is the first time I have this problem and also the first time that I have a smartphone that runs on marshmallow.
The apps will automatically close, I guess that's liberate RAM (mine is always full at least 85%) even while I use! (but that is very very rare).
Let me explain: I call on Skype, meanwhile I am on the internet on Firefox and suddenly Skype closes and no "Skype has stopped" or other not, the system simply kill the process.
When I write a event on Google Calendar, if I go to another app for too long Google Calendar closes automatically, and when I come back on it, I started to write is lost.
But that, at worst, I deal with it.
BUT HOWEVER, when I listen to music on youtube.com on firefox and I'm on another app and the system decide to close firefox, it drives me crazy!
Sometimes the system never closes Firefox, but as soon as the use of RAM is a little too intense, it closes all he can.
How to stop that Android arbitrarily close everything and anything? Are there some app can be defined as "non closable" like Firefox, Skype or another.
At worst, if there is no other way to fix the "auto kill issue", how to listen to music on youtube with the screen lock other than with firefox?
I'm not in the US so I can not use Youtube Music and when I use an app like Unpause Me, sound is chopped, there are plenty of cut, but what is very strange is that this problem ONLY happens only when the screen is locked or that I'm on another app that Unpause Me, when I'm in Uplause Me the sound is perfect ! (I also have this issue when I'm in skype call). (on my Galaxy S3 who running KitKat I don't have this issue at all)
Thank you for your help guys, I really need: /

[Q] Any App or Hack to play the "new" youtube with screen off?

In one of the youtube updates last fall they removed the ability to lock your phone and still have the audio (from youtube) continue to play. Instead now the video will automatically pause if you turn the phone's screen off (lock). Per the thread below on youtube help this isn't a bug - I guess they want you to have the video since all of their ads are visual
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?tid=56150de8f1fa69ba&hl=en
Anyway I still have the old version and restore it back (using Titanium) whenever it updates. Recently though the older version has become a bit flaky and I get the feeling down the line it may not continue to work.
So I'm wondering if there's the potential for a hacked Youtube app that keeps it from pausing when the phone is locked? Or if not is there an app that at least will turn the screen off while allowing certain apps to run in the background?

Click to collapse
I doubt that would happen. Whether or not it is possible is not the point, but the people with the ability to create such a thing would most likely not take up the task.
Of course I could be wrong, but hey, I'm just trying to be realistic.
My advice, be patient. The thread you linked shows a lot of upset people and got the attention of an employee. Just sit back and hope that they release a new update with the feature reinstated. Until then, try using an app to download your music. A lot of them even have the ability to simply stream the music you searched.
Good luck~

[Q] Problems on Xperia pro K16i or android system?

Hello,
i have this mobile for about half year, but have there some problems, that i still not able solve.
1) I see problems with lags and unwanted pausing at some games. But still not found why. And how. Because in some games i do not click on pause button, but game when i moving fingers on display randomly go to pause, or go to black screen or stop respond for while. It look as weak procesor, or it is problem of memory? This device have low memory, but i try kill every aplication that i can, but problem still persist. And i have also problem kill some aplications. I kill them and they start again. And not are because because must run.
I also try disable builded antivirus but too without changes.
In some cases mobile start wifi conection or data transfer, that i have set off.
I dont know how i can receive email when i have disabled wifi and data.
And two times mobile send premium sms that i unable control, and not figured in mesages, and not know that i send that kind of sms. I call operator to block all premium numbers to awoid this robbing.
2) android market is extremly chaotic and it look there is security problem - google play. Is posible found most easy way how to block some aplications to accest to sensitive operations? (acces to call, sms, and other services?)
Im thing there is too much many aplications that want baseless access to some services.
3) is possible mount on this phone Windows mobile 6.5? Because that system been most suited for me and in basic have most aplications that i need, and have also a loot prety good games. On android are there minimal.
Or some way to modify rom and kick and kill stupid aplications and system layouts.

Xperia Ray with Super Jelly Bean 8.0 + Fusion Kernel - experiences

This ROM/Kernel combo is a great one, I must say. I want to share my experiences running it, and maybe somebody has more tips on how to improve even further. Feel free to ask questions as well.
-- some basic info --
The phone is rooted, obviously.
I have a fast 32 GB card and Mounts2SD app, so storage of apps is not an issue in any way.
I use Nova Launcher, Xperia Keyboard (with gestures and two languages), MyAndroidTools for managing apps and services, and Greenify to hibernate some stuff.
I limit background processes to 4 under developer options. Sometimes I kill apps with a long-press of the back button to make room in RAM for the next activity.
-- what to disable --
I'm pretty into Gmail Inbox, but in the end it was too slow to run on the phone. And besides a stupid parking app Inbox was the only app that needed Play Services, so in the end it had to go. You see, Play Services is the main thing that will choke the phone on random occasions. It's got 325 services(!) and counting, so no wonder that it runs amok every now and then. Just cut them away by disabling them in MyAndroidTools.
Play Store is also something that is not a very nice background thing on a low-end phone, so I disable that, too. It's relatively easy to enable temporarily if/when I need to install something.
I have location services disabled. Navigation is therefore a no-go which is kind of a bummer - Google Maps is also Play Services based and won't run on 400 MB RAM anyway, so don't bother. Maybe there are other navigation alternatives around for low-end phones, IDK?
** A note: Play Services and Play Store irritate me as they turn on themselves spontaneously every now and then. Every few days the phone will turn to quicksand and when I diagnose there's always Play Services running again, even though it's disabled in MyAndroidTools. I would really like to have those two be well-behaving citizens **
-- apps --
Shuttle is a nice music player for this phone, I have about 25 GB of music on the card and it manages well.
Mailbox by Dropbox is lean and fast and a fine alternative if it wasn't for the fact that I'm not able to type in more than one word when replying to a mail - bit of limiting for a mail app wouldn't you say?
Twitter, Trello, Slack, Dropbox run fine although I won't run widgets due to RAM limitations.
Business Calendar is my longtime favorite and it works well. I tried upgrading to BC2 but that's not for this phone as far as I could judge (and with no new need-to-have features).
Opera Mini works for me, seems to be pretty conservative on RAM if a limited number of tabs are kept open. Of course, not everything renders optimally, but on the other hand the data savings are great so you can even surf decently on Edge connections, which come in handy sometimes.
The SJB camera works great, as does the FM Radio - and no problems ever with Wifi which I had with the phone on other ROMs previously!
No games. Not my thing. Not on a 3.5" display anyhow.
-- final words --
With the setup described here, this phone is still very much usable. Sure it's not the fastest but hey Zen right? And you won't be able to run any app comfortably, but the abovementioned make my workday more than manageable. Kudos to the ROM and Kernel developers, and to SonyEricsson for a still-great phone in a really pocketable package!

Auto-hibernation not working ?

Hello.
So, I got greenify. I always thought it was a free app, but for the first time this week I really started using it and when I tried to hibernate some pre-loaded (system) apps, it didn't let me without the donation package. I thought "ok, maybe it's better. Paid apps generally know what they are doing".
But to my surprise, apps like YouTube, even Samsung's "Clock" and others, keep coming back, and even non-pre-loaded apps (such as facebook) do not stay in hibernation (at least, I always see them under the "Will hibernate in a few minutes when screen"... by the way, "when screen" what ?). So I always have to manually hibernate apps I open and use, and some keep waking up on their own anyway (when greenify promises they won't, that one has to manually execute apps for them to wake up, then that they will auto-hibernate once closed). I might be actually disappointed in paying for this. It's not working, and I turned greenify "on" in "accessibility" too.
Also, I don't want to risk flashing Xposed to still be able to get notifications when I already use TWRP and SuperSU (and my ROM is official, yet customized by myself, since I uninstalled all bloatware, then just backed up the new ROM with TWRP and reinstalled it), plus, Xposed says it is compatible with "6.0", so Idk if that includes Android 6.0.1 or not. But I wish Greenify's devs had been smart enough not to kill every push notifications.
Any greenify experts out there whom know how to finally make auto-hibernation work by itself, and make apps like Facebook quit being stubborn ?
Any light with getting notifications still too ?
Thanks in advance.
Apps that wake up on device's boot:
Camera
Clock
Featured (apps) *widget
Email (Samsung app)
Facebook
Galaxy Apps
Gallery
Gmail
Play Music
Google+
Hangouts
Internet (Samsung's browser)
Maps
Memo (Samsung)
Messenger (Facebook)
My Files (Samsung)
Opera Max
Photos
Recarga Certa (Samsung's app for adding creds to SIM)
Smart Manager
Theme Store
Twitter
Video (Samsung)
YouTube
Some of these are the ones that keep waking up during operation (not just on boot), such as Facebook, Clock and Opera Max.

Apps' and Games' Crashes & Other Issues

*** I have no choice than to beg for help. So please please please help me. ***
So I'm going to tell you girls/guys the whole story. It's going to be a long one, so bear with me. I just didn't wanted to leave any info.
I've been using MIUI for a long while, in the beginning it was all great. But as I started installing more & more apps, I started having issues/lags while playing games. Then there is MIUI's ram management issue, i.e. If I had to run a heavy game/app, I had to clear out RAM(you know the special feature in MIUI). Other than I had network issues. For ex : Whenever I played PR Legacy Wars(internet intensive game), I suffered from a lot of LAG. And Tekken(officially by Bandai Namco on Play Store) also, Force closed once or twice.
So to fix all this, I decided to go with a Custom ROM, basically because of the RAM Management issue.
First I started using CM 14.1. In the beginning the results were good. Like the internet problem was fixed to 100%, PR ran nearly perfect. Other than that there was no RAM issues. But as I started installing more apps, I started having crashes. First it happened with HQ Trivia, then with C.A.T.S. & PR Legacy Wars.
What happened to each app individually :-
HQ Trivia - Every time I play a live game, the app would crash multiple times given that I tap on ''wait'' and phone keeps on processing the app, when I get the message "App stopped working".
C.A.T.S. - This is neither a graphic nor internet intensive game, but still when I was typing something in group chat, the whole system crashed, the phone rebooted from the Boot Animation not from MI logo.
PR Legacy Wars - This game is a bit graphic intensive & internet intensive for sure. Same like when I was typing something in group chat, the same thing happened as mentioned above. Keep in mind that crash should've happened when there was more load on phone like during a battle.
And some very heavy crashes. Like when I try to switch accounts between guest & usual, the system crashed so hard, that I couldn't use it, Not even the hard buttons, like power button won't even turn the screen on. The vibration motor started spinning and wouldn't stop. I literally have to open the phone and disconnect the battery cable.
So having no choice, I installed NOS N, but I haven't tried the account feature in it, in fear of what happened earlier to CM 14.1, As I was able to recover through that heavy crash 3-4 times, but I guess it was the 5th time, I wasn't able to get into the system and lost all data. Why I feared? Cause I'm having similar issues as in CM 14.1, not all of them but similar.
SO after installing NOS N, these are the issues I'm having :-
HQ Trivia - Same app crashing while playing live games.
Sonic Forces - Whenever I watch an AD, if it's longer than like 5 or 10 seconds, app would crash & restart. If it's small or interactive or even non-interactive, if I keep tapping on the screen, app doesn't crashes, otherwise it does.
Twitter - Kept crashing(first installed through TiBa). Issue fixed after I installed it through Play Store.
YouTube - Force closed once or twice. Sometimes when I'm watching a video, when I press back then tap on Home/Trending etc it shows white blank.
Games - If music is playing in background, whenever I exit the app, at the end, the sound kinda gets laggy/screechy.
It's not been that long since I've been using NOS N. And I didn't do any hard testing especially that account feature. So the whole OS hasn't crashed yet. But still these issues hurt in long term, especially the HQ problem. Also all these apps were first installed through TiBa backup, then I installed them through Play Store, so that there's no compatibility issue.
As this OS has a feature to kill apps by holding back button. If sometimes I have lag in PR Legacy Wars, it get fixed by killing & opening it again.
What do I need from you guys?
To tell me if this a hardware or software related problem. I can create some report or log, so you could help me better. Just tell me how to do it? Meanwhile I'll try installing other OSs.
PS: I may not reply immediately, but I will reply.
