Hello, i tried to install the newest Miui via twrp, but there was an error (i think something with missing m5 sum) and i took off the battery. I tried to boot it but there was a Bootloop which ended by going into the recovery. Ok then i wiped all data but still the same problem. Then i tried to unbrick this phone with this tutorial on needrom with SP Flash tools . It was sucessful and i put the battery back in and tried to boot. But nothing happens. No light no logo no fastboot no recovery. I tried to charge it but there is not even a light. Everythong is black. What should i do now, i need your help
which rom did you try on needrom ? Cinafoniaci Rom ?
may try this: h t t p ://en.miui.com/thread-183558-1-1.html , and here you find the roms: h t t p ://en.miui.com/a-234.html
and no need to remove the battery for flashing
If you flash an incorrect fastboot image to your phone, I think no way to fix it, fastboot is like the BIOS of PC, what flash tools you have used? link?

Sry, I don't have this device anymore, but if you flashed 100%
successful, you should try to flash another rom again, may an older or newer stock stable one. Are you able to enter recovery, you can replace the recovery.img with a working twrp.img, rename to recovery.img and flash it with SP tool, so you might be able to flash a custom rom from sdcard.

Are you sure you flashed the right rom for your device.
If everything fails, look if the cinafonicia rom is still on Needrom you can try to flash it, it fixed my device once if I remember correctly.

after a week trying a lot, different roms different SP Flash Tools, different method (download only, firmware upgrade, even format), also rom from needrom, give me same result. Flash success but phone not boot up.
I thing it is hardware issue, might be the emmc.
I thing I have to give up, emmc replacement cost almost $50 in my country.
Thanks for all your responses.

Dear Dispiteous
if your device hardbricked by just the flash.. so your device didn't dead..
You 're need to use BOX-setup that available in Technician stores to recover your partitions by hardware(That 's 18 partitions)
and your cell will be fine

Hello....i rooted my sm-g360az samsung phone and when i restarted the phone, it didn't boot up to the home screen. It shows the samsung logo and then becomes blank....i later on came to know on the internet that i hadnt enabled 'oem unlock' on 'developer options' before rooting. I sent the phone to samsung for repair and they sent it back to me today saying that the phone is beyond repair because it was rooted, though i hadnt mentioned to them that i had rooted the phone. How do i get my phone to work again? I need it very badly for work purposes. Can somebody help me with this....

Why do you need stock recovery? There's no stock recovery available for your device.Try to instell different twrp version for your phone.
EDIT: The problem is fixed, the problem was my dead SD card, as soon as I took it out and boot into TWRP the recovery has been working well. Thank you all for your help anyways.
What's going on guys, today I'm in need of some aid. Couple days ago I was trying to swap ROMs from PsyRom to FlyMeOS and when I tried to access TWRP recovery, it would get stuck on the TeamWin logo. I softbricked my phone by restoring the stock recovery and kernel (lol) and flashed the latest Fastboot ROM. Now I'm fine with MIUI8, and I flashed TRWP again (with Fastboot flash) but everytime I try to access TRWP it gives me that stuck logo or a black screen. I don't know what to do because I already tried with a rooted Dev ROM and flashify and even the TWRP Manager but I can't get anywhere. Do you know what I can do?

AFAIK the bootloader is not locked.
Otherwise I think that you can't even install TWRP.
I any case, I would try with an older fastboot ROM and with the official TWRP.

I have no problem with it (MIUI8). To be honest, I don't think any of them should cause the problem that you are having. Trying to solve the problem without identifying the cause will probably prove unfruitful. How did you install the first one that you had problems with? Did it ever work at all? If so, when did it start malfunctioning?

Yes it used to work, I already tried a lot of ROMs, I had the one compatible with Android 6.0 which I flashed with TWRP itself (It worked since I flashed CM13 with it).
I don't really know when it started malfunctioning because the last time I made a backup was at least one month ago when I swapped to PsyRom (it was functioning well). But two days ago when I tried to access it to change to FlyMe it wouldn't work. Anyways I'm flashing a MIUI7 fastboot ROM to see if it works.
I'm sorry if I can't explain myself very well but I'm doing the best I can lol. Thank you for your help too.
Perhaps something messed up your file system or partitions. If all attempts don't work, then you might want to use the SP Flash Tool to flash a compatible ROM and working TWRP.

Hello, after one month the issue is still not fixed, the recovery still hangs. Perhaps you could send me that fastboot rom you talked about please? Thank you.
I'm going to send you the link.
In the meanwhile...reading the thread again...what is "update.zip method"?
Are you try to install TWRP from Mi recovery?
This is not going to work anymore.
You should better stay with the last ROM and flash TWRP from fastboot.
This is the recovery image: https://dl.twrp.me/hermes/twrp-3.0.2-0-hermes.img
This is the guide: https://twrp.me/devices/xiaomiredminote2.html
Just start your RN2 into fastboot (vol down+power on), run fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and finally keep pressed vol up and send fastboot reboot and wait with the key pressed until it enter TWRP.
BTW:
in the official forum there should be a thread with link to all officially released ROMs for RN2.

The problem is I already tried the fastboot method as well, and the problem is always the same, stuck TWRP logo. Even if it was a partition problem, flashing the fastboot ROM should fix it, but it didn't. I tried the SP Flash Tools method too, and the flashing methods are successful, they all Flash TWRP, but when I try to access it it's stuck. I don't know why this is happening, it used to work.
@kiko9895 Sounds like you have screwed your partitions. You will need to load a full ROM using SP Tools to correct it as this is the only way to set the partitions back at their correct memory locations. Fastboot and Recovery rewrite the partitions by name not memory location so any fault in that will never be fixed. If you have flashed an Android 6.0 based ROM or something intended for another model phone, this will definitely be the case. Anyone flashing custom ROMs should first gather the skills and tools to recover from disasters - luckily, MTK based phones are virtually unbrickable!
As far as the "official" TWRP goes, it is not official and not a good version. It is just someone who has used the TWRP build server to knock out a random version. How does that make it "official"?

Ahah I have the skills and the tools, I've been flashing ROMs for more than two years. This never happened before. If you read what I said before on this thread, you'll see that I already flashed a new ROM through SP Flash Tools. And yes I flashed a 6.0 rom before so that must be the problem, but since I already flashed a fastboot rom through SP Flash Tools I can't see where the problem is. The partitions should be fixed by now but that isn't the case.
@kiko9895 Sorry if it sounded like I was coming down hard on you. You should only need to flash a matching preloader, uboot, logo plus TWRP recovery using SP Flash Tools with the correct scatter file to get back into booting to TWRP. Any other problems can be sorted from there.
I will attach a known good scatter file because I know there are several floating around that will reverse one or two partitions on you (such as the RN3 version)
Ok, i was trying to get back to stock again cuz i have my S8 now.
Thing is, i did a factory reset in the Phones settings and it got me to TWRP i forgot i had that, i tought i had stock recovery, so it removed the whole OS for me, so now im here with no OS.
What should i do?

Hmm, tried it out but i didnt managed to get it to work.
Can i use any rom to flash trough FASTBOOT?
or should i get an SDCard and put a rom on it ?
had the same.problem last week and it drove me.nuts. if you have stf l09c432 version there is a b130 service firmware. you can put it on micro sd, format it exfat which is important due to size and then press vol up, vol dn and power simultaneously. recovery will install and phone will boot for sure with stock recovery. the only way which worked for me. capacitive bhttons are dead which is the downside of this method.

More suggestions are welcome, i dont have an SDCard right now, and i want it to work so i can sell it.
for me this was the only firmware that worked after no os. i tried huawei multitool. this has an unbrick section, all it does is flashing cust, boot, data, recovery and userdata in the right order using fastboot flash cust cust.img for example. didnt work i tried flashing all parts with fastboot flash command on my own including vendor.img etc. still never worked.

Hi guys,
So, I have this problem, after unbrick the phone it turn on whith the split screen. I use this method to unbrick: https://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/20/leeco-x820-max-2-super-unbrick-guide/ and now the phon it´s like in the photo. I tried all the ways: installing a new twrp, only works the Cuoco92´s twrps but instead i can not flash any rom, it turn on in black screen. Also i tried to d flash with the adb sideload , whitout results. In twrp the screen is also splited.
Many people have this issue after unbrick, no solution.

It seems to be an issue with stock recovery and bootloader, their are not compatible. Why I´m telling you that? Because the digitalizator it is functional, the screenshots are entire and they are many people who can restore complet the phone, but they are offline , like STEVE_MARS and many other.
It could be the QFIL file you used , please try this one and tell us --> here

have you look here ?
Are you sure you followed the OP carefully? There is a TWRP that is designated for using with the 014s ROM. Please use that one. I think the issue you have is with the drivers. Some users had installed another TWRP and they fixed it. Before 016s it was another kernel, therefore a different TWRP should be used. Also please mention when the screen became split, after finishing with QFIL, or after installing TWRP.

Try 3.0.2-0 and 3.0.2-1. Unfortunately the post that I was referring to had a TWRP for 014s that worked for me and many others, but now the download link is dead. In that case, I can suggest the above versions. They look pretty old, enough to work with 014s. Try them and report back. By the way, you can find them in the unbrick guide, I posted the links there.
This it is the new stade of may phone. I have a custo twrp, 3.0.2 Cuoco92 and when I try to instal a new rom this happens:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=9&v=72kNH_YbkW0
40-45 seconds later, this happens, I let it almost 40 minutes and... nothing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-KeuL8s5Hc
Really, I can´t find any solution, it´out af my understanding...
It was solved without replacing the screen!
Ok so, I did as shown in the topic : https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-...tboot-t3525831
download twrp (The one I know didn't had the touchscreen issue)
boot from twrp (wish I had know about it before!) and not from one installed
upload zip file to /sdcard ( here's the catch, while in TWRP in don't have access to adb, the phone doesn't connect to pc or I don't know even I mount it, could be me. So i just put the archive at the root of the phone before booting to twrp from adb)
install rom
reboot
And ... it's ****ING WORKING!*
Really big thanks to ThE_MarD for his help!

Did same steps bro, didn´t work . I only can install roms with 5.6 kernel, but still split screen. If is not a HW problem , I think is a kernel compatibility with display drivers and motherboard. I think the phone has a display named "trully" , manufactured after 5.6 kernel, so there is the problem. It.´s only my opinion.

Heyyo, please try this custom EUI ROM fastboot version
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/development/rom-leeco-le2x820max5-9-023s-cuoco92-t3608187
The only other thing I can think of is there is a flashone v2.0 mentioned in this thread

Hmm I'm not 100% sure what to tell ya then bud sorry... The only other thing I can think of is I can reflash EUI ROM 20s and recovery and then force a device upgrade to 28s and then make a full TWRP backup of everything and then you can try to restore it??? It would involve wiping your device to try it and I won't activate EUI ROM or load anything extra on it but it's honestly the last idea I have.
If you're willing to try it I'm willing to format data my phone and mess around with EUI ROM again.
I won't be using Indian 19s ROM though as it has forced encryption that screws up if you switch to a custom ROM and prevents TWRP from reading the encrypted data and I haven't found a good fix for TWRP with decryption...
Like I said, right now 5.6.014 CUOCO92´s and twrp 3.0.2-VR10 installed.I´ll try to upgrade.
Edit:Imposible to upgrade, bricked. I can´t flash any rom above 5.6.014 or variation, same thing with twrp 3.1.0 or superior, neither through adb, fastboot or twrp.
