I have problem when I use Facebook App to watch pictures on Galaxy SII stock rom. When I zoom to picture it stays blurry and doesn't get sharp, I will post pictures here so I can help you to understand. I tried reinstalling Rom and Facebook App but it didn't help, and when use Facebook through browser on Android it's all normal, I don't have this problem.
P.S. I tried to upload pictures in this post, but XDA doesn't allow me yet, because I don't have 10 posts writen. I hope you will understand !

Ok I am using HTC HD2. It comes with facebook application which I believe is very good to work with. Gives much better sharp screen than using browser to log into facebook. My only wish is that the facebook app shows thumbnails of the photo albums. When you enter into the photo album it shows full size images one at a time and we cannot select which picture we want to see. Can someone please help if it is possible to have picture thumbnails on Facebook App ( Facebook for windows mobile) .Please help.
You maybe in luck my friend. There is a facebook app in beta at the mo it's called xda facebook and Joe the maker says he is working on how photos should be viewed at the mo. So give it a go for a start it's a hell of a lot better then the windows app already so you can't loose. Just search for it on this site.
Not a crucial problem and it bugs me. Pictures which come from Facebook linking does not appeat for contacts in the default messaging app. It worked on the first fascinate I got but I had to replace it. Twitter profile pictures do work. I have tried resyncing and such. However, pictures from twitter do appear.
Anyone have a similar problem or solution?

When posting things like this it helps if you post what you're running...I ASSUME from your words that you're on Eclair (Stock 2.1). Simple fix that has worked for me is uninstalling/reinstalling Facebook and re-syncing.

I have some problems with facebook, and was wondering whether anyone can help..
Firstly, after linking the accounts. Some of the photos appear as blank. Anyone have a clue? Those that have photos, are really blur.
Also, outside app such as Whatsapp are not picking up those contact photos.
I'm moving from an HTC so i am amazed that samsung has this problem. Is there a solution such as "Facebook for HTC Sense".
Am i just doing it wrong? many thanks for any help

Your case is the same as mine. I came from the HTC Desire HD, which all the contacts were always synchronized with Facebook, no problems with photos and etc.
I posted the same questions here a few weeks ago, and from what I got, the ICS has some compatibility issues with Facebook, that's why it sync just a few contacts and also the quality is terrible.
The solution that people told me, was to use 3rd party softwares to make this sync. There is quite a few on market that does that. Just look for "facebook photo sync".
The solution I adopted, was to set the photos of facebook for my contacts manually, and I just realized how to do that now. Since I don't have many contacts, I entered quickly on their facebook profile, went to the photo I wanted and selected the option "set as contact photo".
To enter on their contact, I was doing directly by my contact phone list (because the facebook was linked correctly... just the photo that wasn't appearing).
The quality with that also gets better and when I enter on What's App now, is everything fine.

Those two apps didnt work really well for me. The app that worked best for me was an app called "Contact Picture Sync". Did everythin i wanted.

I'm using Galaxy S2... When I try to share my photos from Instagram to facebook it doesn't upload the photos
But it is uploading the link for the photo.. while serching in web its said when facebook is linked with instagram

Is there any way to use the default gallery app in Facebook instead of the one Facebook offers? To clarify, Facebook's just shows all the pictures chronologically and not in the albums like in the gallery. In some situations when I want to select an older picture it's difficult to find. This becomes an issue when I am replying and want to use an older picture, but if I'm uploading to my feed I can obviously select from the gallery and hit share. Any help would be nice.

Why not try a new app like Friendcaster. It is better than the official Facebook app. Hope it will solve your purpose.

There are a good number of complaints about us being slow as of late, Facebook already hangs sometimes. And I'm not too into the friendcaster up. Thanks.
