can somebody post me a working root method for gt_925f on the 6.0.1 update
I'm interested. My g925f is stock with 6.0.1 beta. Is possible to root flashing TWRP with odin and then flash superSU through recovery?
I'm not sure . I've read a few things in the different s6 edge threads but it's a bit sketchy

Put the twrp 3.0.0.0.tar through AP in odin.. the zip. is for flashing through recovery.. since you don't have this recovery, odin is your first step..
Ok. Thank you. I successfully flashed twrp.
Is there a working xposed for 6.0.1 ?

Any root support for g925r7wwu3cpc1 yet?
I've a little Question.
I want to root my Phone. I've installed latest official Marshmallow update (G925FXXU3DPDP) and don't know what's the way to root. The cf-autoroot from File Chainfire is different from my current Buildnumber.
I saw a Video from "Highonandroid" in that he first flashed the SpaceX Kernel and then the Twrp, does this work?
One more Question: When i flashed Twrp and want to install a 5.1.1 over the Official Marshmallow, do i get a bootloop then?
Sorry for the Questions, but i am new at this and don't want to do anything wrong
Flash twrp as in original android development section. Then flash supersu.zip.
And no 5.1.1 rom on MM booloader.

Doesn't matter if the build numbers aren't exactly the same. As long as your device is g925f zeroltexx the root will work fine.
I have 6.0.1 g925f and i used cf autoroot a few days ago and no issues or errors

Yeah you can use flashify to flash your roms and zips. Make sure you make backups first though of your kernel and recovery. Just incase.

I'm 99% sure you won't get bootloop flashing the auto root. But download stock ROM just in case if this happens just flash the stock ROM. But like I said it's slim chance that this will happen.
The first time you flash cf auto root it may bootloop like 2 times but it is completely normal

No, you can reset the flash counter but knox will always be 0x1 (tripped) to be honest not many people or too bothered about knox. I've had my phone in for repair a few times with tripped knox. Samsung never even checked
