Solved "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network"

Hello Everyone, I am using Samsung Ace s5830i and since yesterday I am not able to make any calls, when I try to call a number it says "Mobile Network not available" but I can see good signal strength and I am also able to use GPRS. In the notification area it says "Emergency calls only".
I went to Settings -> mobile networks, when I try to manually select my operator(TATA Docomo, i'm from India) i get the error "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network".
I have removed the sim card, inserted in another mobile, it works fine. When I try try to insert a sim card of some other operator into ace I get the same errors listed above.
These are the things that I have tried.
1. Removed the sim card, battery inserted them back and restarted the phone
2. Restored my Nandroid backup
3. Complete factory reset
None of these worked and still I get the same error.
Information regarding the phone:
Model- Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830i rooted with CWM 5.0.2.6
Android version - 2.3.6
Mobile network type - GPRS
Network- TATA Docomo
Signal Strength - -90dBm
Service state - Out of service
Mobile network state - Disconnected
IMEI - Unknown
I have called Network provider they say fault is with the phone.
Any help would be really appreciated...

you have lost your IMEI... u'll need to flash stock firmware via odin!
see this thread for procedure!

Re: Help "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network"
Just for the knowledge, what may be the reason for losing imei and does flashing stock rom retrieve my imei.
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda app-developers app
possible reasons are many...i don't know what files did you flash? (Rom/kernel/scripts)
Cronmod script is known to have this issue...did you flash this script?
Flashing stock rom with odin will give back your imei!
What's your ROM/kernel? and what scripts did u flash?
Re: Help "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network"
I am using stock rom. No i didn't flash cronmod script. I'm not sure but i think problems started after installing Online Nandroid backup tool maybe it has installed some scripts, i'm not blaming the tool it is fanastic app to make nandroid backups.
Let me flash custom rom, hope problem goes off.

No Network registration on I9300

I used latest MIUI ROM on my phone the last few days, now my USB port is not working properly and i want to send the phone to service.
I Flashed Stock ROM and now I cant register on network
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S
My warranty is till august.
My IMEI is OK
read the guides on returning to warranty
I dont have problem with installing the stok rom! the flash process goes very smoothly, but my phone is not registering on a network...
Maybe try to set your network operator manually? Go to settings>mobile networks then choose network operators then wait until search will be finished (it can be taken by few mins) and voila choose your operator and you should to get notification "registered on network or something like that reboot phone and voila.

[Help]Samsung Galaxy note 2 CLONE problem

Please someone help me, I dont know if this post is allowed here or where to put it. Im just desperately needing a help..
I've flashed my rom, everything is fine. I found the right rom for my device.. Everything is working fine except the sim card.. The problem is, my phone is detecting my sim, but I dont have "signal bars logo" in upper right and my Sim Management is grayed out.. I cant access Sim toolkit too.
I got my Imei number and its not "null" or "invalid".
I just dont know why theres no network.. :'(
Or this problem, when i tried wiping the data and cache using recovery mode, the samsung logo is vanished and the phone are able to detect the sim card, but since the imei number is "null" or "invalid", I dont have signal. So i tried restoring my imei and everything is fine. I got signal.
But the problem is, When i switch the data on, Im only getting an Edge signal(E) and not WCDMA(H). When i tried to change the setting by making it "WCDMA only", my signal lost.
Its like, the phone lost its capability of having a 3G signal.. How to fix this problem?
Please, someone help me. Ive already spent 3 days of searching but still no solution.. Please please someone help..
See my device's info below, and if ever someone knows or someone has same rom of my device, please send me a download link..
Thanks in advance!
Heres the screenshot and see, I dont have signal and sim management is grey and cant open..

[Fixed] network gone after updating to marshmallow[FIXED]

i updated my N915P from smart switch to Marshmallow and now i cannot get any signals...i have to unlock my phone again but i do not know how to do it. i bought it unlocked-pre rooted from the reseller but he isn't in touch anymore....please someone help me...and no i cannot spend any kind of money as i do not earn money myself and my parents won't allow me to either......also I'm from India so everything costs like hell here.....
FIX:
After searching through a lot of sites and forums I just tried to dial #72786# carrier reset as a hopeless experiment and viola my phone rebooted and was showing my carrier and i was able to make calls & SMS too. So I just want MODs to close this thread but do not remove it if someone else does the same mistake like I did.
NOTE: It will also ask for Device Activation after the reboot. Keep that in mind!
Just flash mm again whenever you get msg for android updating don't click okay just press home button and let it stay in notification. Your data will work normally.. I'm trying to find fix for it till then you need to use it the way it is..

Pocophone f1 Won't turn on WIFI and wont read SIM card - stuck in Android setup

Hi all,
I am completely stuck with this, I couldnt get any wifi it wouldnt turn on and when I did it just turned off again. It also wont read my sim card and randomly restarts.
I tried factory resetting but its now just stuck getting me through the android setup and needs internet in order for me to register the account that I previously used on the phone, otherwise it wont let me pass. It wont turn on wifi still and still doesnt register my sim card.
Please help as I have been trying this for hours and Im honestly at the end of my rope.
Cheers,
Evan
update:
I have tried,
factory reset
Flashing the rom,
downgrading,
upgrading,
wiping everything and putting latest miui again,
used twrp for running a recovery.
None of this has worked - all came to the same problem
So i believe that I found the issue. I managed to actually get in to the phone without needing to login to my mi account after a long few hours troubleshooting. Managed to boot in to miui 9.
I can see that my IMEI numbers are showing as UNKNOWN
I am going to see if I can find the box for my phone and then get the imei numbers back in the EFS file using miracle box
** :UPDATE 2.0: **
Hi.
So I am now witnessing really strange behavior.......
The phone will reboot ocassionally. Ive not recorded a pattern but every now and again it will register the SIM card but wont turn on the wifi.
The IMEI numbers will show, the base band version will show and the mac address. But I dont think they are correct.....
----------
Its showing
IMEI (SLOT1):
868xxxxxxxxx333
IMEI (sv1)
00
IMEI (SLOT2):
868xxxxxxxxx341
IMEI (sv2)
00
----------------------------
Baseband version:
Will update on next reboot that shows it as I didnt manage to capture the data when it did actually appear
----------------------------
Mac address:
02:00:00:00:00:00
I don't think some of this is correct.....
Like the mac address.... It doesnt look right to me.....
Anyone help with these symptoms?
It wont actually connect to any network still when it shows these details and after a short few minutes will restart and show them as unknown again.
Kind regards,
Evan
Try fastboot rom

The fastboot rom is different from the one that use to be flashed with twrp. Did you given a try with fastboot rom? Internet is required while flashing with miflash as it uses your mi account. Don't loose hope.
Thanks.

I know this isn't the help you're looking for but if you need your phone to work just take it to a service center. It'll cost money off course, but they'll help you. Some service centers do it within a few minutes

Try the persist fix. If that doesnt help, i doubt that some box will, as it appears to be a hardware issue..
Hi guys, some problem to me and I just fix it.
I noticed that if the phone is switched off for at least 10 minutes then wifi and SIM card are working for some minutes before stop. I used this time to unlock the bootrom, install the TWRP, root the phone and backup the EFS partition ready to apply the "Super guide: Persist file the magical file". On TWRP I noticed that I don't have the persist partition for the magical file. Anyhow I powered on the phone and now WiFi and SIM card are working properly! Hope this helps.
