I got confirmation from Case-mate that this is the only case they make for our phone that will not cover the top microphone. I went ahead and ordered one using the Facebook discount. Go the their FB page and "like" them to get the code. If you are having issues PM and I will give you the code.

Agreed, but with the 20% discount, it was more manageable, though still expensive.
I "liked" the fb page, how long does the code take and where does it show up?

When you say the black barely there case, do you mean the normal plastic case (This one), or do you mean the AT&T specific brushed aluminum one in black (This one) the OP referred to? I'd like to know, even though Case-Mate might say otherwise, if all the ports, buttons, etc. are accessible in the normal plastic one.
Thanks

Thanks for these but how sturdy does the case feel? My concern is that on case mate's own website there are several complaints about the case cracking on the corners.
(sorry I can't post links cause I'm a noob)

case seems fairly sturdy. the Incipio feather on my wifes atrix cracked on one corner (these are similar cases) but that was because of taking it on and off and its stiffer. On this case it seems easier to take off so I dont think it will crack as easily....unless maybe if you drop it alot or something.
Got my case!
I received my Barely There Aluminum today. Fit and finish is great as you can expect from a case that sells for $40! I really like the heft that this case adds to the phone. Without a case, I felt that the S2 was too thin and light. The feel of the plastic bumper is very nice. It feels satiny and "soft". To me, the plastic actually looks like powder coated metal. The aluminum back and chrome trim really makes this case look very classy. The camera opening has a little raised edge around it so when sitting on its back, the lens is protected. There is also a very small raised edge around the screen which will help protect the screen when placed faced down on a table, though dont expect major protection if the phone is dropped faced down and dragged across the floor. I only have 2 concerns: one is that the plastic on the sides does feel slick to the touch and two, the power button is a little hard to press. You really need to use the tip of your finger in order to press power.
This case may not be for everyone since it does leave the top and bottom exposed, but that is to be expected from a "barely there" case. Overall I am very pleased! So pleased in fact that I am thinking about getting the Case-Mate Pop or Tough for times when I need extra protection for the phone.
Umm...pictures?

Do you have any pictures?
Agreed. Pics would be fantastic, especially from a few angles. The ones on the Case-Mate website don't give enough for me to make a decision. Additionally, what parts are plastic? I figured an aluminum case would be.. well.. metal. Is only the back panel metal and the rest is plastic? If so I just don't think I can make myself spend $35-40 on it. :|
Another point of concern for me is that on their website, even though they say US AT&T version of the SGSII (which is the SGH-777 we all have) the pictures are of a GT-i9100. Am I correct in assuming that they're just posting a picture for a different phone but actually make a case for ours?
Question: Do the barely there cases.scratch up the sides? I had a similar case when I owned an iPhone and it scratched the sides where it clipped on to the phone.

Certainly not the only case that doesn't cover the top microphones, someone didn't use the SEARCH button... just thought I'd clear that up so people don't think there's only one case on the market that fits our phone, however hideous or GPS-blocking it may be.

Got any pics of the headphone jack area? I have studio monitor headphones with a huge jack, trying to see if they will fit... Thanks!
Not gonna lie. As thin as the case is, it sure does add some bulk to the phone. Also the port for the S-Pen is still snug and the the S-pen comes in contact with the case when you pull it out. Doesn't bother me though. Feels really good in the hands and the case fits like a glove.
Got the email from Amazon that it shipped on October 3rd and I received it today.
I just wish they'd commit to the Slim Armor View, they have 431 likes already.
How long ago did you order your's tungo0516? I may just order the Urban Armor Gear Navigator on principal at this point and wait and see if they make the Slim Armor View. The UAG is honkin' huge, but it's much better protection.
If you guys don't mind waiting, I can probably get pictures of the case installed on a black GN3, assuming my friend stops by tomorrow. If he does, I'll throw the case on his phone and snap some photos

Ordered September 16. Shipped October 3rd. Received today. iLoome tempered glass will be here this Thursday.
UAG is too big. This phone feels bigger in my hands than the Note 2 with the Samsung OEM case I had before, but feels so much better in the hand. I'm going to the Miami Heat preseason game this Friday. Can't wait to utilize that camera.

How much contact? Enough to scratch the pen or the paint from the case?
that cut out for the spen hole looks hideous
It's bigger
It looks bigger than being naked. Maybe I gotta choose a slim case. S-View is out of my view. Because it's currently sold in Korea & China. I don't believe in cheap cases that made in China due to its low quality
can show some pictures on the 3.5mm aux jack?
Would like to see how big the opening is.
Thanks.
Does the case feel slippery? Or does it give you a better grip than going bareback?
Looks great! Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to mine in silver.
Is the back as fingerprint-prone as people say it is?
Also wondering about the grip. Is it a noticeable improvement over naked? Holding the phone naked is like holding an oversized bar of soap.
Does this case have enough of a lip around the back to protect the camera lens when on its back and enough of a lip to protect the screen while face down?
My Dante Red Neo-Hybrid comes in today or tomorrow, I can post picks of it on my black GN3.
Hi is the lip around the screen raised enough so that the screen don't touch the surface thanks for the pictures
How easy are the buttons to press? I know on some cases with built in buttons they are harder than a mother.....

Honestly, I believe it will scratch the pen if you pull it out too much. What I do is tilt the s-pen and pull it at a downward angle. Maybe it's just my case, but over time if you pull it out too much, scuffs on the pen will appear and the s-pen will look worn out.
Here is my quick review of the new Incipio DualPro Case. First I want to say sorry for the blurry pics. Wasn't taken with the best camera, but I wanted to get this up now.
Right off the bat this case feels great. It's almost gel-like. It's made of a hard shell, and very soft inner part, but both feel the same. It's like a feltish feel. Reminds me of the Nexus One's back. Even though it was hard plastic, it had that soft touch feel to it. The buttons are extremely easy to press thanks to the soft inside material being the cover instead of the hard outer shell, or individual pieces like the Spigen Neo-Hybrid. The overall thickness is also less compared to both the Neo-Hybrid and the Spigen Slim Armor. It almost feels like the naked phone without a case.
The cutouts are spot on too. Just like the Slim Armor. No complaints overall. Again the headphone port has a deep cutout, so you will need an extension, or just use headsets with thin jacks. Anything larger than the headphones that came with it won't fit. The camera is tucked in just enough, so there is no fear of it contacting any surface when put down, and the front is thick enough to protect any sort of surface if laid face down. I'm really happy with this case. For me it's a toss up between the Slim Armor and this with the Neo-Hybrid last. Both the Slim Armor and DualPro feel great in the hand, but the DualPro feels a bit better with the super soft touch feel. Great case that you can't go wrong with. The color is Cyan.

Thanks for the pictures & review, this may be my kind of case. One question though, how is the gripping on the sides? All I need in a case now is one that provide sufficient grip, since the Note 3 is so thin and slippery on the sides that sometimes it literally slides off my hands/grip.
The grip on the sides Isn't super slick but I wouldn't call it grippy either. I'd try and check it out in a VZW store first hand. My only complaint is the TPU insert doesn't have much rigidity around the home button and the speaker. So it snags and doesn't stay snug so to speak.
I'm probably going to return mine when my Uag arrives

This is the only case so far that I'm really having an easy time holding. The Slim Armor was the best I thought, but this one is just a perfect increase in size over the naked phone. The rubbery texture is more than enough to grip. When you first put it on it may feel a bit slippery, but it's just the talcom powder they use in the molds for the silicone to be easy to get out. I wiped mine down, and now it's a soft rubbery grippy feeling case. I really like it a lot. Plus the sides are curved. There are no corners that you need to grip against like the Neo-Hybrid or Slim Armor. It's a very natural feeling to hold it since your fingers wrap the entire case. One bonus feature I found for me is the entire bottom is the very soft inner case, and the way I hold the phone I tend to put my pinky under the bottom as a brace. The soft gel really is easy on my finger. The other two case are hard on the bottom, and I would have to keep moving my pinky to stay comfy.

That's a good additon to mention. The top and bottom are both just the soft inner case. There is no hard outer shell to keep it pressed against the phone, so if you tend to put it in your pocket I can see it getting caught and pulled when you try to pull it out, but overall with it being on the case and used, it doesn't "wobble or flipflop" by itself. It's stiff enough to stay put, but easy enough to pull away with a slight tug.
Ah yeah I wasn't clear. It stays put until it snags coming in and out of my pocket. It's merely an annoyance.
My favorite thing about the case is how comfortable it is. Holding the phone naked now feels sharp and uncomfortable.

One thing, you should put a link in the OP so readers can easily find this case, instead of having to search the web for it. Other than that, which you can easily fix with an edit, excellent review!

How'd you get your case so quickly? I pre-ordered directly from incipio.com about 2 weeks ago and still haven't received a shipping notice.
EDIT: Oh, apparently the blue and pink versions are shipping NOW, but the neutral white and black versions are taking a little longer. Ah well.

I'm special. LOL Yeah just as your edit said. I check sites daily, and when I see them in stock I order ASAP. That's how I get all my case in before everyone. I check first thing in the morning (around 8). I find I can order in the morning with "in stock" stuff, and by afternoon they are already out of stock.

I picked up a DualPro SHINE, Brushed silver color, from the Verizon store, They were able to pick up the day note3 came out. They still sell them, It's a the best over the counter case you can get IMHO at the moment.
How does this case compare to the spigen bounce? I just ordered the bounce to try it out.
I loved this case on my SG4 but it was a Lint & Dust magnent. I think there is a correlation with most cases....the grippier the case...the more dust and lint it will attract. Just got a UAG case for my new note 3 and it sits perfectly inbetween Grip and Lint spectrum!
Just ordered mine from amazon. How easy / not easy is it to quickly take off and put back on? Like if I wanted to swap batteries in my phone, would it be this whole ordeal? Thanks

It's very easy. One of the best cases if you need to do that. When it's on it's on good, but no fear of breaking something if you have to take it off.
Sent from a Galaxy Note 3 far, far away....
My older brother had the Shine version of the Incipio DualPro for his Galaxy Note II and it was pretty bulky with no easy way to take it off. I have the Spigen Slim Armor for my Galaxy Note 3 and considered it superior until I noticed a crack in the armor yesterday. It has never been dropped so I am pretty sure that it was caused by taking the phone in and out daily. I do this carefully one side at a time and push through from behind (camera opening) but it happened anyway. I would hope that the Note 3 version of the DualPro is easier.
Also, it was rounded so it probably wouldn't fit a flat metallic plate insert like the nGroove Snap uses. He also tried it with a Qi wireless receiver I sent him and it doesn't work through the case. I hope the Note 3 version is thinner.

Hello there!
I am looking for a leather case for my yet to be bought OnePlus 5. Not a flip case, but something like this Apple leather case.
Has anybody seen something like this for the OnePlus 5?
Thanks!
I am also looking for something like this. I loved my OnePlus 3T leather case, to bad that they discontinued it.
From noreve.com there will be such a case available in future.
Für example the OnePlus 3:
https://www.noreve.com/en/3/3386-oneplus-3-leather-cover.html
https://www.noreve.com/en/5/3556-oneplus-5-leather-cover.html
That looks promising! Thanks for sharing!
If you want leather, what I did was buy a small roll of real leather and then just sew it to fit the phone perfectly, like a sleeve. I just hand sewed it. You can put your thread color to contrast with the leather, or to match it. Then you can also cut a small hole for the notification slider or they things (like the notification light).
I've tried many cases, but none are quite as good as just a perfectly fitting leather sleeve.
Almost no added bulk. Plus it cleans your screen every time you take it in and out.
And you can just scrunch the leather back into your pocket when you are using the phone.
DropBOB.ca for my blog!
I ordered 2 @ Aliexpress. One from MOFi and one from KEZiHome. I hope they are not the greatest crap. I think they will be ok until something better is available

I ordered one btw! But from a different store. Will update once received on Feb 15-March 10. Ordered the Alcantara fabric case and calf leather case for OnePlus 5t and iPhone X.
Sorry guys I totally forgot to post the pictures I shot.
Here you go: Gallery
To be honest, I never used them, because I didn't liked them.
MOFi - The color is more gray than black and the texture is very smooth and somehow slippery. The in hand feel is definetly not leather. Opticaly the thick edges were not eye-pleasing.
KEZiHome - Nice textured feeling. I never had the feeling that the device would slip out of my hand, but I didn't liked the color in person. Another bummer was that it was very hard to use the alert slider and the volume buttons.
Too bad that OnePlus canceled the leather case after the OnePlus 3T. I f**** loved that case.
Alright so I ordered this clear flexicase ages ago and it has arrived (finally). I wanted to do an unboxing and review. I wish Spigen would release a hybrid case for OP5 like they did for the Nexus 6. A clear hard plastic back with solid color TPU edges. It was great because the case never discolored like these stupid clear TPU cases we get today.

I mean it's still early in the OnePlus 5 lifespan, that's why it's like tryna pull teeth to find a good case. Hopefully tho we see some good cases. I actually have that one you're talking about for the N6 it's a two part case, with the solid colored tpu and plastic that slides over it I accidentally snapped a piece of the plastic tryna take it off and now it doesn't fit properly

Oh yeah? That surprises me. I kept that case on my N6 for two years and it was solid. I guess you got unlucky.
But yeah I don't have much confidence in that case making its way to OP5 because it never was released for OP3. They only released a version with clear TPU edges which will still discolor.
