Hi.. i have seen several threads on 2.5mm 4point to 3.5 stereo adapters but i could not find any threads on 2.5mm 4 point to 3.5mm 4 point, therefore posting this thread...
i have just purchased a V-moda vibe earphones... great sound quality for my mp3 player and laptop... it comes with a 3.5mm 4 point jack with internal microphone.. it is originally designed to use with iphones but i was thinking, since it is a 4 point conductor jack.. i could use it with MDA only if i can find an adapter..
does anyone know if this kind of adapter exist? i found one on a UK site.. but too expensive to ship it over here...
so i'm looking for 2.5mm 4 point jack to 3.5mm 4 point jack.. please help!

Yes I got mine at Radio Shack. Works great. I use it for my car.
Hi there!
I just bought my new Xiaomi Redmi NOTE 2 TDD 4G.
It worked grate 2 weeks. But now i have a problem whit the headphone jack.
When i connect small headphones to the phone there is no clicking sound from headphones.
But, when i connect larger speakers something like car stereo or home theater speakers there is the annoying unstopping clicking sound.
I have google it, some smartphones have the same problem. But on the Redmi Note 2 it seems to be hardware problem, because if i am in recovery mode its still makes the clicking sound.
May by somebody have the same problem or know something more about it, please leave a comment.
Thank you!

Same problem 1+
Same here
The strange thing is that if you remove and reinsert the jack from the stereo side, the noise will turn off
Does that by any chance happen while you're charging your phone?
Sent from my X98 Air II (HG9N)
Nothing like that on mine so far, been listening to music via my car's AUX input and headphones.
not have this problem (prime version)
hi, have u solved this problem? becouse i cant fix it.. :/
Some cables produce this sound, try another cable It worked for me.
I get this, but only if the plug is not fully inserted. I can even make this same noise using my Xiaomi Piston 3 earphones, again if not fully inserted.
Hello, I have broken minijack port in my redmi note 4 and all the time my phone is thinking that I have my headphones connected but it's not and I would like to ask if there is any application with root that would force my phone to use speaker?
Okey I found it :silly:
I have the galaxy s10 lite, but i haven't the headphone type-c.
I bought a ucb type c to 3.5 adapter by Samsung to use my standard headphones.
It works fine in music apps, but it doesn't work with radio app. It show a message that this headphones can't be used as an antenna..
I can buy a USB headphone, but I'm not sure if it will work eather, as we don't know what Samsung do with their headphones..
Anyone has tried generic usb type c headphones, to test if radio work?
What are the original usb type c headphones that Samsung use, and where can I bought them?
Thanks,
I bought adaptor Samsung USB type c to 3.5 inch jack, it works with all my 3.5 earphones but FM radio of the phone doesn't work.
It says this earphone cannot be used as antenna , or something like that.
I then bought Samsung USB type c earphone AKG EO-IC100 , this one:

The same.. Music plays, FM radio says its not compatible as antenna..
What the hell earphone should I bought?
Isn't a code or something? I never had the original earphone. Do you see a code for them?
Thanks,
got my Note in July last year and after an update it stopped staying connected to my earphones by aux. If I push it 80% of the way in then it's connected but if I move it 1mm out or in then it loses connection. I got some bluetooth earphones instead but they broke now and I really like my wired earphones. I've tried some USB-C to 3.5mm adapters but from what I understand the Note 9s doesn't support them? Does anyone else have this issue? I read somewhere that 3.5mm to USB-C adapters with DAC should work, could anyone confirm that?
