How to unlcok or wakeup this phone with mediatek app ? Search Voice unlock in QuickShortcutMaker to view app Don't work on me...
Have you checked on smart lock in lockscreen menu? There's an option for voice unlock at least on mokee rom.
On xiaomi.eu weekley ROM Click Securtiy.apk than Battery and here you have Schedule power on/off where you can set wakeup time. It works for me every day
Check out this one
Dont work..

Whats your issue? I have tasker putting pin code on when im not connected to home wifi or car bluetooth. You dont need root to do this.

I don't know. I tried to use that feature unrooted..couldn't get it to work fine
I thought with root Itll work fine..
But can't get it to run..sometimes it gets unlock..some times it doesn't..
And when I open anything from notification it asks for password..when I press home it asks for password..there is something fishy..
Sometimes I enter my old password by mistake it gets unlocked then also

Same here, I didn´t have much chance to troubleshoot, but mine is funky too. Used to have problems in my previous phone too (Motorola Defy).
To take pin security off, do not use keyguard, but choose password/pin and then disable.

Can the Pin not be temporarily disabled with the Keyguard command?
The secure settings plugin permanently removes the PIN, this is bad for me because it means that if i turn my phone off whilst the PIN is off then it won't request it at startup. I can make a secondary profile to always set a PIN at boot but this takes about 10 seconds to take effect which is too long.
I basically want to be able to toggle the PIN on and off but not remove it so it's always there at boot
Hey there,
I have to questions...
Can anybody confirm that's not possible to lock the messages/sms
App from Huawei with the app lock feature via fingerprint?
Does anybody know an application where u can set your fingerprint for a standard
Password?
Thanks for help
You can use fingerprint lock for all apps.
Go to phone manager>swipe to second page>more>App lock
where you will get prompt to associate lock with fingerprint.
Also note the dialer, contact, and sms is one single app. So you have to lock the ""Huawei contacts" app.
never new about applock....thanks
Also is there a way that we can set fingerprint for unlock the phone and a pattern as an alternative choice? Because as an alternative unlocking choice is only a password or PIN

I'm really interested on that.
Hope that now that the source of the kernel has been rolled out somebody will find a way to do it
For me even the normal lock screen without any password + fingerprint would be great.
what is "phone manager" ? i'm using the french langage. thanks.
Phone manager is one of the pre installed huawei tools, the icon is like a sheild..

Hi,
I would like to have a gesture control app like I had on my Cubot X9. It would be enough for me to have a possibility to switch the screen off and on by double tab.
That app I had on my previous phone allowed me to switch the display off by doubletap the home button and wake the phone up by simply double tapping anywhere in the display.
This was cool and pre-installed. But I don't see any option like that in MIUI and I don't know which app I could download for doing it.
I am using the xiaomi.eu Rom 5.11.1
Please help
Thanks
This feature needs to be supported by the kernel. Currently there is no such option, and most likely there never will be.

Hello Friends, Today I am going to show you. How you can user Fingerprint on your Note 4, if you have installed Note 7 Ported ROM. Samsung Galaxy Note 4
I have tried this on my phone, and it 100% working (DOOLA ROM V12) SM-N910C
Step-1
Register Fingerprint in Settings (Settings-->Lock Screen & Security --> Fingerprints)
Note: Don't set Lockscreen Lock your register Fingerprints (Just Cancel it) If you will set it, it won't work.
Step-2
Install Next Lock Screen
Step-3
Open Next Locker, Enable Next Lock Screen, Then click on "Screen Lock"
Step-4
Click on Fingerprint Lock, it will ask you for System Screen Lock (Select None)
You are Done!
Enjoy
Thanks bro, works perfect in Pirobotrom v6

Swipe from up to down: in my phone its showing alternative PIN lock - to unlock the phone.
Swipe Up from Down Bypass FP Security
@gurbhasin,
I understand what @Frozen27 want to say, If u swipe up from down ( in my case it is from left capacitive button to upword , then there is no need of Fingerprint ) phone gets unlocked itself. So actually this direction bypass the Fingerprint Security. Its known B*U*G* to all ported Rom/s, at present there is no solution for this... Unfortunately. :crying:
Lets hope that one of our Dev will find out solution for this.
Hello there,
I recently purchased a Xioami Pocophone F1 after using LG for the past 4 years.
I am so used to double tap to unlock and lock my screen that I find myself constantly doing the same on the Poco.
Is there a way to enable that feature on the Phcophone?
How come LG is the only company that has that feature enabled by default? Is it something on their hardware or is it a part of Android in general?
I find it to be a great feature and personally, I don't like phones with buttons, especially on the right side of the screen.
Thank you,
It´s standard in MIUI 10. You can find this option under Settings -- Display.
If you are on MIUI 9, wait a few days. Xiaomi is rolling out the MIUI 10 stable in waves.

Settings > Additional Settings > Button and Gesture Shortcuts.
I prefer installing nova launcher and use double tap to lock screen.
to turn off the screen I use the following apps:
for dt2s on home screen - DTS Widget
for using the fingerprint scanner - fingerprint quick action
for status bar - all in one gestures (no longer available in play store, google apk)
