HTC Desire 610 Rooting Problem after Problem - HTC Desire 610

Hello, I've been trying to use this tutorial -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-610/general/info-htcdev-unlock-root-t2844323 To root my HTC desire 610. Everytime I try it I get no luck. I did everything exactly as explained but when I go into cmd and type "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" as explained in the tutorial through HTCdev, command prompt does not do anything. When I hold down my bottom volume and power button and enter that boot mode though. I notice it says "TAMPERED" "LOCKED" on the top left hand corner? Is this what is stopping me? I tried using KingRoot a couple days ago and maybe this screwed something up making it tampered. I honestly do not know. I'm not that knowledgeable about rooting phones But I defiantly just wanna get this root over and end this throbbing headache. Any help is greatly appreciated. I followed the tutorial to the TEE and still no results. Please help. Thankyou.

[q] help! Anyone? Soft bricked and need assistance

I am currently residing in a house with several others. Two days ago I left my phone (HTC ONE MAX SPRINT) on my desk and when I returned I found someone had tampered with it. The phone will only boot into Bootloader/Fastboot. When I try to goto recovery the htc logo screen appears for less than two seconds and then loops back to the fastboot screen.
Before anyone asks let me answer the following:
I don't know how it got to this state or what was done to get it here.
When I try to flash ANYTHING I get either signature verification denial, or remote denial
The screen says the following by order of appearance:
***TAMPERED***
***RELOCKED***
T6WHL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
H-Boot=2.40.0000
Radio-1.48.50.0109
OpenDsp=v.33.120.274_T6.0029
QSC=
OS=2/09/651/1
eMMc= boot 2048mb
PLEASE I NEED HELP ASAP family emergency. I spoke with HTC two days and they were very kind and sympathetic but the development team was supposed to contact me with a solution when they arrived at one but I have not heard anything.
I would appreciate any support immensely.

Sounds to me step one try to s-off. Your boot loader is locked and you aren't s-off.

Go to HTC Dev and use your original unlock token to unlock the boot loader. Flash custom recovery. Boot to custom recovery. Then either side load a custom stock rom or put one on your physical SD card and flash it from there.

Thank you...
Hey! Thank you so much for the quick replies.
I must tell you that I have only moderate knowledge and experience when it comes to these issues.
Next, everything I try to do in terms of flashing returns with a signature not verified denial or a remote not allowed denial. I can't flash or otherwise access anything onto the phone.

That's why you need unlock token from HTC Dev. If this is truly your phone, you must know how to do that as this phone is relocked. Meaning it was unlocked before. The failure to fastboot flash anything is due to the relocked boot loader.

Soft Bricked AT&T HTC One M8

Hello, I am new to the forum and this is my first post so please excuse if I don't do everything just right.
I am pretty good at IT stuff but until now Android has not been something I have worked with other than using my phone.
I have an AT&T totally stock HTC One M8. It's been good and reliable until a few weeks ago. Woke up to it asking me to input an encryption password. Never set one.
So I have tried just about everything I can to get it back working. Don't care about the data that's on it.
Can boot into Bootloader. The phone is LOCKED and S-On. Have tried to unlock via HTCdev. The commands work and the unlock screen shows up on my phone but after it reboots and I get back to bootloader it still shows as locked.
Tried adding the newest RUU to my SD card and installing that way. It finds it and starts installing. Then it says press power to reboot and goes back to same as before. No change.
Not sure what to do. Tried to post two pics of screen shots but can't because I am a new user. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
Thank you

when i plug in my phone into my pc, i have black screen and red led, but it's not adb mode.
i can't enter adb, my pc (windows 10 x64), i use command "adb devices" and list is empty
i can't edl
i can enter in fastboot mode.
i can't flash nothing, "failed: device is locked"
anyone can help me?
if i unlock officialy my bootloader, can i flash again stable rom or something? i just had my phone during 2 weeks.
can i do anything?
thanks.
one more thing: i had guaranty, so, if i unlock my bootloader officialy, i lose it?
i don't want to try testpoint method, because of guaranty.
Well, welcome to the party.
Irrespective of how much u search, cry for help or open millions of threads like this instead of doing a little search, there is no solution except test point method. Now don't ask how to do it. Search and read a little u will get the necessary info.

thanks a lot for this kind help, i will do it, don't worry. :good:
Don't worry bro u will certainly do what is required. I was the first who reported a bricked device while unlocking bootloader by unofficial method. After extensive search and trying different methods I came to this conclusion.

control HTC phone with broken black screen

Hi.
I have HTC Desire V with total black screen, but touch working well.
It totally stock phone with no USB debugging and else.
I want to use it as wifi webcamera. can somebody help to do that?
i tried to unlock bootloader and think it done - there at most right spot where some lines visible and i saw, like in manual (how to unlock bootloader) confirmation about unlocking bootloader after adb work, so bootloader is unlocked. what else i can do? i tried to enable usb debugging through adb, but it says "error: remote not allowed". think there s-on active, but cant make it offline - it not allowing me to flash new recovery. thanks for any help. i read a lot here on xda about similar problems, but nothing found that help me. thanks again!
No help indeed...
Looks like all much more complicated.....

LG Tribute HD (LGLS676) (Bootloader issue??)

Hello,
I'm new to using this website, just made this account like 20 minutes ago. I'm not sure where to put this exactly so I'll just do me, and somebody will give a hand.
Anyways, I was attempting to root my LG Tribute HD about all day today and just one thing has stopped me is that the OEM Unlock doesn't seem to work. I know what it's suppose to do but its just not rebooting to it when I type from command prompt: adb reboot bootloader. It simply just comes back to the everyday-screen I interact with. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, really but it seems like it doesn't have a bootloader when there is an OEM Unlock option. I haven't gotten pass the first step yet to rooting. I wanted to get TWRP as a recovery, but I just can't it seems. I'm also not sure if I am the only one with this problem. Would greatly appreciate some help with this.
