HI ALL,
i have been facing a problem for last two days. I updated my Xperia P to JB using pc companion. It was working fine. Suddenly there was an issue in the morning the day before yesterday. It suudenly started to Reboot automatically.
First the logo of sony and xperia comes and dissolves. Then the default loading wave of xperia appears but instead of going to the lock/home screen it starts the booting process again and this process repeats.
I switched off my phone using lockkey+volume up. i tried to update/repair my phone using PC copanion and Sony Update service. Both case the latest software is downloaded and installed. But after installation when i try to switch on, it goes to the menu screen normally and asks me to select time format, language etc... but when it asks me to search for Wi-Fi networks if i touch on 'search for available networks' it falls in the same reboot loop again & the Home screen never comes..
afterwards, i skipped that step of WIFI and now it works fine.. but the problem is when i hit the WIFI it falls in the same loop. Now i am in a fix ... i dont know how to solve this and without WIFI there is just no use of this phone
the device was not rooted nor flashed before
What should i do? Try to flash my ROM?
PLZZ HELP ..THANKS IN ADVANCE

It's a long shot but have you tried to reboot your router?
Since it worked for a while, and you repaired the phone and it still exists, I am guessing it's not a problem that related only to the firmware.
Could be hardware problem.

I had several times my phone would not be able to connect while other devices did, bithing but rebooting the router helped.
Bootloops usually come from flashing a bad rom......... Never heard of this problem before....

Hello all,
Since couple of days my phone is acting really weird. Here are the specs:
Brand: Huawei U8800 ideos X5
Rom : Aurora 4.1, update 20
Recovery: cwm
I was installing an app from the market and suddenly the phone restarts and every app starts to crash (Unfortunately...... has stopped) with the downloading app stuck at the notification at 80 % forever without progressing. The weird thing is I can't uninstall any app. I can uninstall, but after booting every app uninstalled appears as if it's not Uninstalled at all.
So I decide to do a factory reset using CWM. Cwm says reset is successful, so I restart the phone and see nothing has changed. It's as if no reset has been done and the crashing continues.
So I decide to go for Stock rom (Gingerbread). After following the official installation steps the phone says the installation is successfull and restarts automatically. When the phone boots up all I see is old Aurora Rom and the same old crash of apps(all apps crashes a_z).
This is so weird. I have never seen this before and have been googling since 2 days without any solution.
I request xda devs to help me on this.
Regards

When you're flashing back to stock have you tried to wipe every partition including your internal SD?
Also how soon does the crashing begin after you flash your ROM?, because if the crashing begins as soon you boot up, you may have a hardware issue and of course the only way to solve that would be to send your phone into warrenty if you can.
Hi tidaboy9
I can't actually flash any roms. If I do, it says the flash is successful, but after the restart nothing will change. Whatever I do in the phone, it will restore everything after reboot, apps, history , etc .
By wiping partition, do u mean flashing stock partition. That I did.
All I want to do is do a hard reset, wipe everything and start new, but I am unable to due to above mentioned reasons. And yes, the crash begins soon after the reboot.
Please tell me this not hardware related as it is not under warranty.
Thanks
i have a Sony Z2 problem with touch screen and notification center as it keeps popping and freezing touching until lock, unlock to work

try factory reset.
try install on your pc SONY COMPANION, and do a "repair" on your phone, that repair go reinstall the android on your phone, you will lose all. give us a feedback if that works.
Hi from last week when i open play music it shows error that "play music stopped working" so i just disabled the app and installed third party music app.. now from last few days i m unable to install apps from playstore when i try to uninstall playstore the phone goes roboot and at the 1st reboot it struck on moto boot logo then i again try to reboot and that time phone starts optimizing all 135 apps which take approx 15 to 20 mins... this thing happen everytime when i try to install app from play store or try to uninstall play store..
when i try to install apk the screen crash and when i try to play any video from gallary or open any contact to call the screen crash..
and i am also facing google play service stopped error..
Someone told me that try to reboot in safe mode and just now i tried but at 1st reboot it struck on boot logo , tried 2nd tym again struck on boot logo... then i thought to wipe data from bootloader and i wipe the data and turned on my phone but noting happens.. then i reset my device via bootloader but no use...
Help me guys u guys r my last hope , I cant switch off my phone for a mins..
One more thing i want to tell u last month i faced one issue in my phone which is my phone not detecting sim cards even not turning on wifi , even imei number not showing and baseband version too.. i gave it to repair shop they fixed the problem but they unlock the bootloader ..
I have a Sony Z3 dual sim (D6633) running stock KitKat, rooted. I am posting here, and not in Sony's forum, as I understand this is a generic issue which can happen to any phone, and is not Z3-specific.
I cannot download anything from the play store; the screen is always stuck at 'download pending'. I had this this morning, and deleted all data (settings -> app for google play services, google play, download manager, and download media). It worked this morning, but now I have the same problem and redoing those steps doesn't help. I do have internet access and have tried connected to 4G and to two separate wifi networks.
I did a factory reset of the phone just yesterday because of this issue + because some process was stuck in a loop and overheated my phone. I wouldn't want to reset the phone every day!
Any suggestions? What causes this and why?
Thanks!
PS Incidentally, this proves we don't need a new smartphone every 6 months - we just need smartphones which work and are stable. But this is not what the industry wants, of course.
Solution kinda....
The issue came across me as well i just installed a custom ROM and the restoring backup was taking place. Google play is reinstalling the apps when suddenly all apps stops at download pending. Well the only solution i found was to factory reset my phone (by facotry reseting i mean wiping all data cache ... EXCEPT for system) then reflashing gapps which worked fine for me. Hope this helps
