I searched for information on how to root the Prestigio PMP 5101D Quad and for a compatible ROM with no luck. It looks like this device is not very popular. I appreciate if anyone has the same tablet and managed to root it and install a custom ROM and can share the information with me.

Hello there, i bought a AIS LAVA PRO 5.0 (Star) phone at a journey to Bangkok.
Many hours of googling the web doesn´t bring me any success finding a stock rom of the "StarOS" on this phone.
Does anybody know where to find a rom for this ?

I currently own a Allview X1 Soul. It is the same with Gionee Elfie and many other phones. None of this phones has an official kitkat release. I've been searching the internet for a custom kitkat rom. Nothing found. Yesterday I found out that the Lenovo S960 has the same specs as allview x1 soul. ( SAME PROCESSOR SAME RAM SAME EVERYTHING). It seems that for the Lenovo S960 there is an official release of Kitkat 4.4.2.
Now my question is:
I have the files of the Lenobo S960 and I need to flash the files. How can I port this files to my phone? Can I just directly flash them?
The porting tutorials doesnt help me very much as the files are not .zip (rom).
If anyone has any idee, I would be very greatfull.

OT POP D1 4018A rooted through Kingo Root CWM recovery already installed and is running KitKat 4.4.2 would like to upgrade to 4.4.4 if possible using stock ROM. Or wouldn't mind trying out a good custom ROM. I have been looking around but not finding anything for my device. Is there anything available??? Please help.....

Can anyone help me get a CUSTOM ROM for Lava Iris X1 Mini? It currently has Kitkat 4.4.2, but I want to get either Lollipop or Marshmallow.
I tried installing CyanogenMod but my CUSTOM Recovery mode didn't allow me to install it, since it was not built for my phone. Please let me know, if there is a way to force install any ROM into my device!
Please help me as soon as possible.

Please note the difference, that is Lava Iris X1 and my phone is Lava Iris X1 mini.
And btw, yeah I tried all the ROM's, in the recovery mode, it says the ROM is not built for your device.

Yes youre right. And I couldnt find any rom now for your device especially android 4.4.2.
There are difference between your and the normal size X1. Ram, camera and screen is different, and may kernel. It would bit a bit work to port it to your device. You would need someone that would do that But there would be roms already if someone even tried that.
