Hi.
I have one question.
Is anyone porting Multirom to the OPX??
greetings Riggs888
Yes, I'm Porting it.
Twrp works with some problems, now I have to solve them.
If a developer would like to help me I realy appreciate

@eng.stk has a build of TWRP that functions flawlessly. Maybe check with him and help him out?

Twrp Works and Multirom seems to be ok.
Now the problem is the kexec hardboot that I've tried to port, but I haven't a great experience in kernel building.
So I need someone that do it or help me

Thanks for your works. I am happy to use the multirom soon. Any news, any process? I am excited to test it.

If it's working fine, you can post builds for downloads and testing.
The kexec hardboot is a kernel patch, @eng.stk will just need a commit for it (I think)
Thanks for your work

Here is a kernel for stock Cyanogen OS13.x/13.0/12.1 with hardboot support (To use the stock Rom as primary Rom in Multirom)
Code:
Use my kernel only if you are sure about the risks of flashing custom Roms/Kernel to your device. I'm is not responsible for any damage caused by using one of my files.
I have attached 2 file types.
The .img files to flash it with fastboot or an kernel flasher app.
The .zip files to flash it with a custom recovery
The COS13.0 ZNH0EAS26M kernel will also work on COS13.0 ZNH0EAS2JK
The COS13.1.1 ZNH2KAS2X1 kernel will also work on COS13.1.2 ZNH2KAS3P0

thank you so much :victory::victory::victory:

It will not work with cos12 or cm11s

If there will come another official cos update I will make a new version with multirom support.
Currently I will not add more features to the kernel because the stock kernel without any more features is currently working very fast and stable

Wondering if the kernel was changed, if yes, can you please release a patched version?

Hi @Bauer. I have been alive because of your kernel. I keep stock ROM as stock multirom base ROM and install other ROMs. It started with your YOG4PAS1N0 kernel version. Now that there's an update...I would like to request you to update version please.I cannot update otherwise..If I do..I will lose my other ROMs.. I do not wish to use another kernel except stock one please.

The kernel source seems to be the same
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_oneplus_bacon/commits/stable/cm-12.1-YOG4P
I will check in the next days if there are changes in the init scripts.
If there are changes I will make an updated version soon.
But for now you can use my current kernel in YOG4PAS2QL too.
I use it myself without any problems

So there is currently no need to make a new version

Hi Guys,
do you know of any updates on a CM12 port to OPX?
I am very unsatisfied with the Oxygen OS and very used (and satisfied) to CM. I cannot find any information about this...
Thanks!
I doubt anyone would put the effort into porting CM12 for the X or building 12.1 nightlies for it with CM13 on the horizon. But I'm not a dev, so I could be wrong.
I'm waiting for this too, but these are the disadvantages of getting such a young phone...
But arent the Specs very similar to other phones (minimizing the effort of porting)?
But I am no Dev as well, so I have no idea. Just thoughts
Happily, I am wrong:

After CM12, 13 should be relatively easy, but that would require the kernel sources to be out soon. CM12 is with a prebuilt kernel as of now.

Best news today. Thanks a lot!
I didn't notice that posts...I was looking for a dedicated CM for OPX thread
I think OPX development will pick up more pace once it hits the US stores on 19th November. The phones only a week old after all

But a lot of capable CM devs are from India apparently. And India sales already started

Device tree and proprietary blobs are needed to build custom ROMs.
It's using stock kernel since we do not have source yet

Quiet a surprising device actually ... They backported MSM8994 stuff on MSM8974. Don't know how that will end up.
Here's my TO-DO list if you are curious
Code:
TO DO :
- adjust firmware symlinks
- update init
- cleanup ramdisk
- custom liblight
- finish overlay
Would be nice if a lot of people could get me
Code:
getprop > getprop.txt
it will help for multinational radio

Alright. I'm just not sure if I set the correct blobs and kernel. Results are harmless worst thing is not booting. If that happens please flash a kernel of your choice and let me know the thread.
http://download.jgcaap.xyz/files/angler/cm-13.0/
If is not that is the device tree. But I think should work. After looking to the sources they seem to be all the same.
It's a bit big because is odexed.
Ill be adding more functionalities soon.
Thanks.

Of course. Your kernel won't work with CM.
Here's Darkobas ROM based on OMNI-ROM 7.1.1.
AFH
gapps: Here
github: https://github.com/darkobas
Praise @nikhil18 for @darkobas kernel base
ColorOS blobs included.
flash on your own risk.
some stuff you dont wanna read:
1st rules: doing so will most probably result in
Nerver say battery backup
Never say slow charging
Never complain about play services
Never ask about how to flash or boot or whatever
Never ask ANY questions about flashing! if you have come this far, you should know better.
FORMAT YOUR **** TO EXT4!!!!!!!
IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHATS UP BUG THEM!
1. Where do I download the rom?
Internetz
2. How do I install the rom?
Like any other rom, flash rom, gapps. OP suggest some gapps and SuperSu2.79!
3. OTA / upgrades
Dirty flash for now
4. Does this rom include a theme engine?
Will be added soon
5. Are there any custom kernels compatible?
Yes
Tnx
You r d best..
