I am using TWRP to install a flash (Because the Phone is getting stuck a HTC's logo) and after I finished flashing it, I reboot and it gets me back to TWRP so it's not working. What to do?
How did you install TWRP on your device? it must be Fastboot-ADB folder where you have already copied the recovery .img file. Open the command window in this folder by Shift and Right click combo and type the following command with the part of command of your recovery image file:
fastboot flash recovery(yourRecoveryFileName) and then type .img at the end of the command – hit Enter
The process of installing of your chosen custom recovery will now start on HTC One Max.

Here is a batch file I have made to do a couple things for an HTC EVO 3D through adb. NO NEED TO INSTALL ADB!!!
It gives you three choices, either reboot to fastboot, which can supply you with a command prompt, reboot to recovery through fastboot, (YES, HBOOT 1.5 USERS CAN USE THIS TO FLASH TO THE BOOT PARTITION, THIS INCLUDES KERNELS, AND RECOVERIES). Or to just ADB reboot (comes in handy for Freezes or Lockups).
To avoid any frustration, I have included adb and fastboot in the folder (NO ADB INSTALL).
I have not included a recovery image, so you will have to download one of your choice, place it in the folder, and rename it to "Recovery.img" (NO Quotation Marks). If a recovery doesn't boot, no worries, this doesn't flash it, just places the recovery in a temporary partition to boot, your current recovery will stay intact
DON'T WORRY, IT SOUNDS MORE DIFFICULT THAN IT IS, YOU GET USED TO IT.
1. Unzip to any folder on your computer
2. Copy your choice of recovery (Recovery.img) to folder
3. Run "Reboot.bat"
4. Make your choice of Fastboot, Recovery, or Reboot
a) If you choose Fastboot, you have the choice of opening a prompt for manual fastboot commands. Choose yes (Y) or no (N).
b1) If you choose Recovery, your phone will reboot into Fastboot
I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH, TO WAIT UNTIL THE PHONE HAS ENTERED FASTBOOT, BEFORE CONTINUING TO RECOVERY. No harm will be done to your phone, but it wont boot recovery unless "fastboot" gets the dang command...
b2) Press any button, AFTER your phone has entered fastboot. This will send the command to your phone to boot the recovery you placed in the folder, not the one flashed on your phone. (Good Way To Test Recoveries Before Flashing).
c) If you choose Reboot... UM??? Your phone will reboot...
5. YOU ARE DONE!!!
IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO OPEN THE BATCH TO EXAMINE IT, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME. I JUST ASK THAT YOU DO NOT MODIFY OR COPY IT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
I am currently in the process of making a batch that will flash the recovery as well.

New recovery flashing capabilities
I have added a recovery flashing capability to the batch, it has a lot of warnings, but it needs them... It just flashes the previously stated recovery.img, instead of booting a temporary recovery through fastboot...

Hi guys please help.
Dont know if I posted it in the right placed.
I cant post it in the relevant thread since it is a dev thread and i'm a noob
So this is my first android so i'm basically super noob (my technical record was to Jailbreak an iPhone)
My error seem pretty simple but I could not figure it out.
I'm trying to flash the CM10 ROM according to this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2027304
What i have managed to do:
Unlock bootloader.
root with RootBoot V5.
install SU and flashed TWRP recovery for Intl version with the amazing Hasson2000 all-in-one tool.
Where I got stuck:
now i downloaded the CM rom zip file and the its specific kernel.
changed the kernel name to: boot.img
placed the file in the kernel folder (of the tool).
hit the flash kernerl (marked the 'with this command').
the CMD window opened, and showed this error:
error: cannot load 'Kernels/boot.img'
picture - http://sdrv.ms/YtPHoU
triple checked the file name and the right directory
I would appreciate any help!
Thanks
My device:
HTC One X+ international unbranded
1.14.401.16
I think your making things too complicated using this kernel flasher software.
Just download and install the Android SDK. Once installed find the platform-tools folder, copy your kernel .img to that folder, connect your phone in fastboot mode. Then hold shift and right click, choose open command window from the contex menu. Then just type into the prompt "fastboot flash boot boot.img" (or the name of the .img).
Done

ummmm why are you adb pushing?? the command is:
just put it in the folder where ever fastboot and adb is
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Thank you guys for helping me.
I tried both methods and recieved the same error in both of them in CMD:
error: cannot load boot.img
Lloyr method:
4 files in fastboot folder:
adb
AdbWinApi.dll
fastboot
boot.img
entered fastboot from device ----> plug in to pc (debugging is on by default) ----> run CMD from this folder----> writing command "fastboot flash boot boot.img" -----> error message
AndroHero method:
download the Android SDK (zip file named adt-bundle-windows-x86) and exract it to desktop.
in the folder adt-bundle-windows-x86, i went to "sdk" and then "platform tools".
copied the boot.img file to "platform tool" folder and ran the CMD from this folder.
typed the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and boom ----> error: cannot load boot.img
thanks again
>.< you NEED to be in bootloader
type in adb reboot bootloader and make sure you are in fastboot usb (select it if it's not already done for you)
then
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Sorry if I didn't mention that.
i was on fastboot USB.
showed fastboot USB on a red backround.
I tried once again with both methods and i recieved another error message in the SDK methos:
error: cannot load 'boot.img': Unknown error
I attached file with step by step screen shot for the whole process (both methods).
Just thought...did you rename it boot.img? If so and file extensions are hidden then it will be boot.IMG.IMG so remove .IMG and it should work fine

Make sure you installed HTC Sync (htc site) and the drivers will come with it. (you can later remove sync, drivers will stay)
Then enter fastboot trough vol down + power > choose fastboot ... plug your phone to PC and wait sec for driver install.
Make sure u see Fastboot USB in fastboot
Go prompt admin mode and go to your c:/fastboot map (put boot.img in there)
And type
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
After that install recovery and rom and boot.

Thank you thank you thank you!!
I'm a nitwit and tried to install a rom with s-on. I now get stuck on the HTC loading/boot screen and never leave it. I can access the bootloader, fastboot, and recovery fine however. Is there a way for me to get either s-off or boot my phone again?
Thanks
This is assuming that you're S-on and running Windows.
You need to install adb. After it is installed, open the command prompt and navigate to where you installed adb.
Ex: d:\phones\rezound\bootloader\andriod\
Next, open up your ROM and extract the boot.img file to where you installed adb.
Then, boot your phone into the bootloader and connect your USB cable.
Once you have fastboot usb displayed on the phone, enter this command into the command prompt and hit enter: fastboot flash boot boot.img
At that point, reboot the phone (fastboot reboot).
Or just use adb/fastboot and boot into recovery, extract the recovery.img file from your recovery of choice (Amon Ra, TWRP, CWM) and place it in the adb directory, then type "fastboot boot recovery.img" and flash the ROM again... doing fastboot boot recovery.img is in some ways giving you temporary S-OFF and will allow the rom to flash with the boot image. Also remember that on first boot, many roms will appear to freeze for 2-3 minutes or even longer in the boot process, make sure to give the initial boot at least 10 minutes before concluding something failed.
So I've managed to unlock the bootloader of my phone now I want to install a custom recovery in order to use a Custom rom I've looked up almost all the guides of how to install TWRP recovery on LG H815 but I keep failing I downloaded the TWRP IMG file for my phone and placed it in ''android-sdk-windows\platform-tools.'' connected my phone via data cable then opened a CMD by pressing shift then right click then typed “adb reboot bootloader'' then typed “fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.6.0-h815.img” then it said C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools>fastboot boot twrp-2.8.6.0-h815.img
cannot load 'twrp-2.8.6.0-h815.img': No such file or directory
Hello, I have a H-901 v-10 That I've successfully unlocked the bootloader and am ready to flash TWRP recovery but every time I try to open the file my computer wants to burn it to a cd/disc.
What am I doing wrong?

Stop trying to OPEN the image file. You should be on a command line using the fastboot flash command to flash the .img file directly to the recovery partition. You need to do some more reading because it sounds to me like you haven't yet installed the android developers kit which contains the adb and fastboot commands you will need to communicate with your phone.
Start by doing what you should have tried first...a google search for "How do I install TWRP on my phone?"...the first result is https://www.howtogeek.com/240047/how-to-flash-twrp-recovery-on-your-android-phone/
I've setup adb and fastboot, opened the twrp folder and have opened a command prompt window by typing shift + right click and entered fastboot flashing recovery recovery image then it showed some code on the command prompt but it didn't flash the twrp what do I do
