Hey!
You are on H2OS MM BETA and something went wrong? You don't have a Recovery and can only get into Fastboot?
I've got the solution! Just download the ZIP provided exctract it on your PC and run the firstaid.sh shell script (solution for Windows down below!)
The only things you need to have prepared is a fastboot installation on your PC and a USB cable ^^
The script will flash Oxygen OS Firmware Images and the 'Old TWRP' so you can Flash again whatever you want! It is just a matter of seconds.
What do do on Windows?
On Windows just open firstaid.sh in Editor delete the first line and rename the file to firstaid.bat

We can use full oos rom zip and flash that using stock or twrp 6.0
Else we can use fastboot images and method by @Naman Bhalla ...

There are some people stuck in fastboot mode which want the easiest solution possible... And this method here already helped many people... I just decided to now publish it on XDA... I actually created the tool already 4 days ago. And this solution is not for the people which still have TWRP (btw. Not everyone wants to flash OOS before flashing sth else...)

It seems I need boot.img to use mkvendor.sh to extract files for building cwm. But I only get kernel.elf from the .ftf firmware. Is there any way to convert elf to img or dump boot.img from our phones?

Elf is the "img". Refer to kernelsource AndroidKernel.mk file there is some explain what you need.

not completly working, but as i tolf fix is very simple
for some odd reason named path /dev/block/platform/ is not available in recovery so it fails to mount any partition, till the issue is solved physical path must be used in recovery.fstab

Abd thats why ibwrote you should only boot it and then hit the volume rockers.
Because it is a bootimg for CM rom and because of this it wont boot rom just work as recovery!

If he bump my kernel than it would only help me, sooti`s kernel got bumped but he isnt allowed to share it with us so i guess in my case it would be the same.
But anyways if Wifi got fixed i will update it ASAP.

you will have to pull out battery , plug it back in and start manually into recovery .. (holding vol down + power until lg logo appears, release both und repress power button until you are in the factory reset menu)

My main goal is to get wp10 or win-rt booted up
in case you might want to test it yourself the install prozess is easy as long as you are on a rom that is compatible with the lineageos kernel

its a implimentation of the UEFI bootloader for android so basicly its a gigant multiboot hack and you dont need a custom kernel etc like for multirom

its better you do nothing [emoji37]
its another dual boot patcher for those that dont understand what this is. It helps you choose which rom to boot to.
I haven't used it so i don't know how it's done. It either patch the bootloader, either set a link to the bootloader to boot to their app before boot, to choose which rom to boot to.

well that means you can't install another ROM on SD as it won't work

HOW TO INSTALL

4. Type fastboot reboot

Im assuming this is for h815 only. None with locked bootloaders?

Yeah only uocked and h815 I have quite a lot of g4s but only h815 and never do a device you don't own

How do you end up with "quite a lot of g4's" ?
It would be great to make this a multi OS device that could include non android Linux's in their own instances, and the windows thing as well. Watching with great interest. Good stuff.

Yup. Already rooted and my Eragon Rom is in testing phase.
Also twrp will be there soon .

Eragon Rom is based on the stock ROM with my improvements /tweaks/mods and fixes.
But as skelet I use the stock ...
The other roms that will come from me,
Like pixel experience , resurrection remix and lineage
Are based on Android 8.1 and Android 9 AOSP
all this isn't easy and it will take some time
But I will try my best ..
So ,yeah soon our z2 will be very great

Excelent news, and with a developer like you this phone will be awsome !!!
i will take the Z2 Specialversion testing, i will suply as mutch i can as soon as i got the device!
S5K2P7 sensors and less ram, praying that's still comon with the rest of the architecture...

Had mine for weeks now and I'm surprised there's no info on how to root it yet.
I'm not bothered yet about a rom, I just want to root it with twrp.
