For some reason my dialer has suddenly gone slow.. I cleared all cache's, reinstalled roms...still slow.. Everything else works fine..
By slow.. I mean 30 seconds or more to dial.. And answer calls..
Any ideas would be welcomed.
Ok.. Took the time tonight to flash back to stock.. Now it can make a call without any delay.. But you can't end the call.... Go figure

I have a problem with my SGS2 : Push notifications (Gmail, chrome-to-phone...) work when I just started the phone, but then they stop working after a few minutes.
Then if I reboot it works fine again, and stops working 20 minutes later.
I'm running XWKE2, rooted, and I have frozen a bunch of samsung apps with Titanium backup. Does anyone have any idea where it might come from ?
Thanx !
OK, I'm now on XWKE7 rooted and I kept all the samsung apps but nothing changed, I still can't rely on push notifications at all (sometimes they work fine, most of the time not at all, and sometimes they arrive late).
Also, and I think it is linked, Gtalk doesn't really work either : It will show all my contacts as offline when they're obviously not, and sometimes when I send a message to a contact (s)he will suddenly appear as online, or my message never gets sent. Same for messages sent to me, sometimes they work and sometimes they get lost.
It happens on Wifi, 2G or 3G.
I'm going back to my Nexus One for now but it's hard... The screen seems really small now that I'm used to the SGS2 ^^
Still no solution... Any idea ?
So the problem started yesterday when I was on asop cm7, I was having an issue where when ever I got on a call, my screen would shutoff and I would be unable to open it to use the dialpad or hangup or anything. When the call ended the phone would just stay like this, and the only fix would be to remove the battery.
So I backed up my data, and moved back down to Bumblebee 2.3, but the problem followed me to this new rom....
I did a reset from recovery, wiped caches, and ran the bumblebee wiper before I installed. Now not only is it still having the phone issue, but it randomly reboots while I'm playing on it. If i dont use it, it wont reboot, just sit there. Im soooo stumped. Im about to goto Harmonia 1.2 and test that out....
Anyone have any idea whats going on?
If you overclocked your CPU. Turn it down a notch. Every CPU is different can can only handle so much until it becomes unstable and reboots. Mines stable at 806mhz
Yeah I lowered my overclock and that helped the random reboots, but it still messes up during calls, the screen cant be accessed and it freezes or something after hangup.... so stumped
FIXED... it was a proximity sensor issue. =D
hi i have the mini x10 with cm7 2.0.1 ( tried to update to 2.1 but it wont flash its kernel...)
now the problem is that 2 days now suddenly the phone started to end all the calls on its own...
if i call my phone, answer it and the let it down on the table the phone will end the call on 14 seconds by it self, no one is messing withe the phone wile it's in call...
if i call my phone, answer it and put it on my ear and speak, the phone will end the call on 14 seconds by it self....
same thing with the outbound calls every call in or out will end on 14 seconds...
even if i lock the screen with the power button after i answer/make a call
the proximity sensor is enabled...
if i make a call from viber to viber via wifi the phone is working fine...
tried my sim card on an other phone and the other phone makes/receives call fine
anyone has any idea how to fix it because im about to use a really heavy hammer on the phone to fix it forever...
tried to wipe everything and the catch from cwm installed the update again 2.0.1 and nothing seems to fix this problem...
any suggestions ?
hmm some update the 14 seconds now are random sometimes it holds the call 30-40 seconds sometimes 7 seconds....
i have searched the settings and couldn't find anything that was wrong...
Issue with my Mega 6.3....If someone could help me with a solution...
If I open the phone with contacts to call someone, it takes 3-4 seconds everytime and sometimes more.
Everything else works great...I tried to reset the phone to factory settings, flashed same stock rom,..done all things for this..nothing works..
Plz help..
I've seen similarISH issues but nothing like what I'm having happen... I'm sure its happened to someone but its now buried in the depths of the internet never to be seen again, So here we go.
I last night Flashed back from NC5 back to MK2 4.3 had no problems during this process that I could see, No Cache issues, no bricking, nothing.
Was able to Re-root my phone, all my root apps working just fine.
But today I noticed I had 2 missed calls and 1 VM. So I proceeded to call my VM and the phone call never went through and my phone seemed to slow way the hell down almost like when your RAM is filling on a PC or a memory leak in a game. It then Showed the call icon up in the notification bar about 10 seconds later and 10-15seconds after that it went away and went back dial a # screen in "phone".
One time I got "com.android.phone has stopped" but only 1 time. And i tried about 30 different fixes for that issue. That popup has only happened 1 time though.
And after all the fixes I still Cannot make phone calls.
I CAN TEXT NO PROBLEM THOUGH. Which from what i have read on most threads with people having this problem they cannot.
EDIT: Audio and video files are not working either... which I imagine is why i couldn't make a screen cap video showing the issue

Click to collapse
Well maybe I'd try flashing the Non-hlos modem that corresponds to your bootloader ( nc5 ?? )
And if that doesn't help any or you've already tried that you may just be out of luck and have to Odin back to full NC5 then go back through that whole process. Just one of them things
