Hey guys,
I installed CM13 on my Moto E condor and formatted my SD card as internal space. I currently have 13GB of internal space and I installed a few games and now it is showing internal space is running out. I can see from ES explorer I have lots of free space. I can't install apps from Google play store and from apks too. Please help.
Please help if there are any other apps which can do this. I tried using Link2SD but that is showing as "Mount script cannot be created. mount:'/dev/block/vold/179:66'->'/data/sdext2': No such file or directory".

Yes there is but some apps can't be moved to the sd card and if they are moved they stop working...so i suggest you to move only the movable apps throught the settings
If you want to use link2sd, Mount scripts using app2sd than use link2sd..m on 22nd build of cm 13, and m using app2sd:all in one tool
It works perfectly..!?
Hope , I helped you!

for the moment not possible! Maybe in the future someone will make a rom who supports that
Gl to sd card only moves files. Apps will not work later. For example, I moved Max Payne to external sd card, and then when I launched the game, it asked to download missing files. What we need over here is an app that will automatically rout to sd card when clicked.
I tried App2SD, Link2SD and GLtoSD and none worked except for breaking Google Play, the only solution i found was Directory Bind.

Thanks, will give it a try. Weird thing, i've spent like an hour trying to figure out why can't move apps to sd...
Well Directory Bind can't move Apps it only moves folders, so you can move all the SD data and some of the folders containing the Apps but when you move it you have to leave the original folder on internal memory because it makes it impossible to delete, so you just have to delete the contents.
Anyone tried "super mount".app made by lidroid
Would this work?
I opened the script file using notepad, would you just change where it says "external_sd" to "extSdCard" and it would bind the folder and allow games to access the data from the external SD?
Just asking because I'm not sure if this would work on the S3...
guys there are many scripts mods etc to use external sd as internal sd so did anyone get it working? or any such mods available for moto e

My phone is not rooted so some app for that
Bought moto e.. Hmm seems that you can't swap internal to extarnal as there no partition between data & internal SD . so no way .. Even cm or any ROM can't able to do so.. Only one way I think to ask Motorola for a new firmware where data and internal SD card are different path not emulated

Tips from me. After installing apps, quickly link to sd. Why? That because when your internal memory smaller than your application data you cannot link your app.

Try move to sd app. you need root permission for that.. It wil work :good:
Link2SD needs ext2/3 partition to work...I think :/
Sent from my MsM7xxx usin BCM21553...
No it doesn't. It only requires an ext partition when you 'link' apps, as what yusrilramadhan has suggested. Moving apps to the SD card does not require an ext partition, rather the app is moved to .android_secure as a .asec file. The app data is left in /data.
You can access these .asec files in /mnt/secure/asec, provided you have root.
Link2SD can both link and move apps to the SD Card, while a host of other root apps can do the same, such as Titanium Backup.
If I remember correctly, GingerKat is a CM7.2 ROM, which means that you can move apps to SD through settings (provided you change some CM settings) but this is generally not recommended.
while formatting sdCard in Mini Partition Tool, did you make both partitions as active?
if not, it wont work
Hi, I rooted my Moto E yesterday with the intention of installing apps directly to sd as the moto e offers only very low internal storage. I installed the xposed framework and also installed xinternalsd but I could not get it work. The internal SD card path is set to "/storage/sdcard1" and i have checked the options "Custom path to internal SD card" , "Enable for all apps", "Include system apps" and "Full acess to external sd card" and still it doesn't work.
Isn't it how XinternalSd is supposed to work(Apps install directly to extsdcard)?...Or am i doing something wrong?....Any help would be much appreciated.

I think you mistaken. It not install app to sd. It makes Apps's data to be stored in Sd Card for E.G lets say u hv a big game the game apk stays in phone but its data obb will stay in Sdcard rather than phone. For stability of phone dint enable for system apps and all apps buy select ony Apps one by one u want..

Whatsapp hogs a lot of space on my phone, so I moved its data to the external SD card and then selected Whatsapp from the list of enable for apps in xinternalsd. But Still it doesn't do what it promises..

I did what u said and i saw the folders are being shown in SD card like that of internal sd but still when i want to see the data, downloaded files then i have to go to emulated/o for viewing the downloads and i feel like its not working.
Use obb2sd xposed module
Is it possible to install apps to your sd card?
At this point I'm unable to download larger apps (2gb+) due to the smallish internal memory of the phone. An example App is Icewind Dale, I'm able to get the apk and install it, but it will not download obb data to the sd card at all.
Thank you for any help!

Try link2sd. I can change the default install location but mine's rooted. Move as many of your other apps to SD as you can.

I don't think this is possible without a rooted phone. Oh well!

What I've observed is that some apps can be moved to SD and some can't. Being rooted and having link2sd helps, and link2sd will let you set the default install path to SD (with root). But some things like Chrome can't be moved. I think it has to do with hard-coded paths in some apps and not others. And then there's the Android 5+ nonsense about not using SD to promote the cloud. Might be worth looking into Ubuntu instead of Android. Sadly, Google is a company making decisions they think will maximize profit. Ubuntu doesn't have a vested interest.
2 gigs for one app, no way would I want such a thing unless I had a terabyte of internal memory. That's bloatware.
