Welcome???
Everybody loves fresh candy.
Nice list of features right from the start. Love ROMs with customizations, thanks for sharing your work!
Wow, great first build. Here is a list of Candy Interface custom options.
Which I love, I had data on boot and sync works great.
2nd pic is the no volte that seems to plague aosp caf based roms. Not sure of this is aosp caf or pure aosp but as you can see in screeny no volte, I am on tmobile btw.
Thanks for bringing Candy to aosp and Shamu, hope volte gets worked out
Who hoo I'm glad this made it to the n6, I loved it on my n5

Correct
Amazing ROM, love the look/speed/battery life. Thanks for bringing this to us.
Thanks for the great ROM!
Hope you don't mind a request: I'd love to see Call Block integrated into Candy
Love the rom too. Only request, it's it possible in the QS pull down, can you add a sound tile? In the Slim LP rom i was using, you can toggle between vibrate, sound on, silent, etc.
Thanks

Can you share any screen shots of this ROM in action? Curious to see what it looks like.
This ROM will work on my AT&T HTC ONE M7 (running TWRP2.6.3.3) (Rooted, unlocked, bootloader unlocked, s-off) safe using the directions in this original post? I just want to confirm before I download and flash the rom and if any screen shots of the home-screen, plus info about it would be nice!

About these roms
For personal reasons and to learn, I started to compile from official sources my android roms for my first Nexus, the Nexus 4. I continue now by compiling different roms for the Nexus 5 and Oneplus One.
I hardly change anything in the roms, I just compile standard roms and I includes features for testing before they are made available by the official roms or just because I think it's usefull.
Instructions
If you are coming from stock Lollipop / another rom
Go to recovery (CWM or TWRP)
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Install ROM
Install Gapps (Slim Gapps or TK Gapps recommended)
Install Super SU (Optional)
Reboot and enjoy
If you are coming from a previous version of one of these roms (officials or these one), just flash the rom and wipe cache/dalvik.

disable adaptive backlight
This is the smoothest rom I have ever had on my oneplus!
It also doesn't throttle wifi like the stock cm11s it seems.
Is there a way to turn off adaptive backlight and the capacitive buttons other than setting the actions to none?

Please note: Neither I nor Team OctOs are responsible for anything bad that happens to you or your phone after flashing this rom. However, if something good happens, then we will be more than happy to take full credit
These are unofficial builds, so there will be no guarantee that I will get the latest update out on friday with the official builds. I will try to stay close to friday releases as time allows, though, so that the changelogs listed on their site make some sense.
Please note that OctOs does not come rooted so that you can use whichever root zip you prefer.
Special thanks go out to Team OctOs for all of the time they spent putting together this rom.
Features:
Substratum rootless theme engine support (must install Substratum from play store)
Tentacles settings!
Pixel Launcher Included
OmniSwitch
Power menu options
Screenshot
Screen record
DPI settings
Status bar time and date options
Status bar network traffic indicator
Status bar notification settings
Quick tile settings
Volume button playback control
Volume button wake
DUI (fling, pulse, smartbar)
Screen record
And much more!!!!
Install notes:
Download rom zip file and gapps. Open Gapps is preferred.
Reboot into TWRP only. CWM is NOT supported.
Flash rom and gapps, then any additional zip files.
Reboot.

I really appreciate the vote of confidence , but being official maintainer isn't for me. I'm happiest when I can build on my own terms instead of feeling obligated to because I'm official. I'm sure that's mostly just me, though, because I've talked to quite a few real devs (those who actually code, not just compile like I do) and they've never made me feel that way. They're all amazing and generous people who have my utmost respect.
The 6/23 build is up. Enjoy!

Apart from the fact that on xda it's considered rude to ask for updates (since everybody is doing this for free in their spare time) - some devs compile ROMs for multiple devices for various reasons..
I'm sorry for the lack of education. This is one of the best jobs and I saw that her latest update has only fixes and implements which further enhances stability for everyday use.
So thanks for working as far as you can.
