My geekbench and even antutu benchmarks are low compared to other people. Me and my friend both got s6 recently. Mine is Indian version n his USA. His geekbench scores are single core - 1495 and multicore 5100.and mine is single core - 1422,multicore - 4536.
I never got beyond this.

I figured I would run quadrant stand and see what I got and I got some interesting results. I got a score of 1830 which is a little bit less then what people have gotten on my phone the Samsung Galaxy Prevail which is a lowend single core 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7627-3 plus the phone only has 384megs of ram. On top of that quarant says the device only has 1 core so Im not sure whats going on with that
I really don't care for quadrant -- at all. It provides far too divergent results on different devices of the same model/SW, it often does not use all available resources to test a device, and I find its results far too inconsistent to be worth regarding as anything other than a random grouping of numbers.
Im just wondering what other apps see the cpu as 1 core and not the dualcore it really is like quadrant does.
This section is not for discussions like this. This is more suited to the general section.

The Nook Tablet usually turns off the second core in order to conserve battery power. I don't know what the conditions are wherein it will spin up the other core.
hmm could be why some apps are a bit slower then others. and why a lowend smartphone is getting better quadrant scores then this dualcore of a monster

Mine got 2140. And a phone with a 800 mhz processor cant reach that unless it is rooted and overclocked. Only on CPU i got around 1500 points. So that means with custom rom the graphics can be improved and with overclock i think it will be able to reach at least around 3500. And quadrant its not so accurate either.
If you check this thread you will see a couple of people that are running CM7 have gotten 1900-2100 scores

Im Only Bothered About The Speed
Which is Faster S5 OR Alpha ??
I want to get the alpha but theres hardly no custom roms for it
should i get s5 ?
The 850f has a score of more than 50.000 in the antutu benchmark, beating the S5 and the note 4 if that's important for you.
I bought the alpha because it looks a lot better than the cheap plastic looking S5.

Alpha Exynos 5 Octa 5430 version
S5 got s801 and Exynos 5422 while Alpha got s801 and Exynos 5430 variables. Both got 2GB ram. Performance-wise is Alpha much faster because it only used 720P screen, especially with the Exynos 5430 one. Though Note4 comes with Eynos 5433 but the 2K screen hogging the CPU/GPU power, in real life performance Note3 is even faster than Note4.

Even thou the S5 gives lower score on antutu it doesnt mean its slower than alpha. The exynos version of alpha has octa core cpu which makes it alot more efficient in multi core processing but its only clocked 1.3/1.8 Mhz, while the S5 quad core is clocked at 2.5 Mhz and that gives a little advantage in single core processing.

Not only the clock speed is important, but also architecture, implementation and manufacturing method and process size (The thing is usually written in nanometers ). All these factors are better on Exynos 5430 than on SD801, so single core performance Exynos alpha should be comparable to SD801 Galaxy S5. :good:

its 17400 only,
is only mine less or others too
The 3G model that you have has a slower processor (Cortex A7). For your model, your Antutu score sounds correct.
Hello,
I own S8+ Plus, just got the S9+ on my hands and trying to explore the new features, meanwhile i run a geekbench but i surprised when i saw that my s8+ beats it on Compute test.
With my S8+ scored 8k+ while s9+ barely hits 6k.
As for the CPU definetely S9+ beats it.
Below are both results.
CPU Score: 3753 / 8932 - browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/7302220
Compute Score : 6169 - browser.geekbench.com/v4/compute/2090903
Is it normal the s9+ to have this huge minus difference?

I have ran the test a few times and it is closer to 12-13k each time for the compute but I am running a Snapdragon. your cpu scores are better than mine mine range right at 2100/8000
I am using latest miui 10.3.8 with locked boot loader and my geek bench score is
SINGLE CORE-498
MULTI CORE-1751(latest geek bench from play store) I have seen way higher single scoreof other users. Is there any problem in my device ?please help my smartphone is still in warranty.
Hi
Just ran the new Geekbench 5 and my score is attached along with Geekbench 4 score, definitely big difference so what has changed in the scoring method?
I read recent reviews on Geek Bench 5 showing very low scores for POCO. This is clearly a bug in the latest version. Please use GeekBench 4 for accurate scores.
