Does anyone know if you can flash the AT&T System Files on to the T-Mo version?

If you mean the ATT rom then no you can't. You can convert it so it looks like the AT&T version by flashing the boot screen and ATT apps. You can also change your build prop so that it even reports the ATT model to the play store. You can easily download the ATT apps this way.

Oh ok, how would I do that? Do you have a link that I can view with directions and links to the stuff I will need? Also, would it get Marshmellow when released?
Thanks in Advance

Look here. You will need to get the values from an ATT V10.
On your rooted Tmobile V10 you will not get automatic updates. You will need to get marshmallow from the dev section which is better anyway.

Amber for AT&T Dev devices

HI,
I just check with NCS and found there is an amber update for AT&T dev devices - I'm running it, because has 2g/3g/4g switch, sms receipent notification and other things which I miss badly in prea Amber AT&T stock ROM.
I'm wondering why I don't receive it over OTA.
I'm going to flash my device after few minutes...I'll waste few hours to configure my applications from scratch, but at least they will install automatically

When you flash it, can you check if it has the 1700 frequency?
Thanks.

Haha, oh well. The easiest way would be to see if the phone finds any AWS operator in that frequency (1700/2100 MHz, for instance). But I think none in Bulgaria does...
Thanks for the reply nonetheless...

Thanks for the heads up boril. I've been wanting to go to the Amber update, but didn't want to load an European rom quite yet. Was able to flash to my ATT 920.

HI,
Yes, this is ROM from AT&T developers variants of 920(I think they are penta bands), so I presume you can use LTE on AT&T.
NEVERTHELESS I use mine in Europe, so I cannot confirm about AT&T LTE.

So I did mange to get LTE back on my phone. Though it did take a second flash, and on this run I couldn't connect to cellular data to set up my account and auto-download my apps and settings. So some settings from the Rogers flash must have remained on move back to ATT rom's that a)allowed me to connect to cell network during initial setup b) prevented me from using LTE. I had done a reset after the upgrade to portico on the rogers ROM, flashed to ATT Dev, but still no joy on LTE, reflashed again ATT Dev after a day or two, and seems like all is good.
this may be a really dumb question but can I flash this on a retail att device?

okay let me see if I have a clear understanding of this. I'm on ATT portico, so first I have to find and flash recovery Att Pre Protico, Flash Roger Pre Portico, OTA update to portico, and then I can flash recovery to ATT Dev?

You won't receive it OTA till AT&T adds their garbage to it. Nokia creates the base version then AT&T will add to it and once they are done and happy with the added bloat they will push it. Just becuase Nokia has released it does not mean AT&T has released it. You all have an unfinished ROM if you get this one from Nokia.

no you have to flash to rogers pre protico, OTA rogers, then you go to AT&T Dev Amber.
No need to flash to AT&T pre protico I think.

Has anyone been able to get WiFi calling or VOLTE to work on the U firmware? I haven't been on it in a while.
Edit: not sure why i quoted you for this question. Lol sorry.
I have been trying to get it working as well. I wish that att would support wifi calling like T-Mobile does I only get 1-2 bars and sometimes no signal when I'm at a certain spot in my workplace and when I had the original att software on my phone I loved wifi calling, I don't particularly miss VOLTE though
Thank you so much for doing this. I was using the wrong Odin to flash.
Quick question on this. Now that I am running the U firmware, will I get OTA updates? I'm using a Cricket sim card.
I hated the AT&T firmware so much. I'm so much happier with this.

Need to flash T-Mobile firmware in order for at least wifi calling to work.
after flashing this firmware.. I noticed a huge gain in performance.
and mobile hotspot works, I run cricket unlimited, and will come in handy.
I like the clean appearance and the smooth responsiveness, I used the AT&T firmware and I used PDP to disable a ****load of bloat, but nothing like this smooth.
not to mention I'm getting updates, which I'm more happy about.
this is really nice to have.
Had anyone tried this and used on rogers?

To begin make sure you have samsung usb drivers installed. Now make sure you use Princecomsys modified odin, next download the latest U Firmware from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634768085 or here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767159704. Next put your phone in download mode and open odin make sure all firmware files are in the right spot and click start wait until your phone boots into recovery mode and restarts, after that to clean up old temp files factory reset in recovery when your phone boots to the welcome screen, after that you are finished. THIS is For att and tmobile phones only unless your verizon phone is using one of the two carriers sprint won't work due to proprietary activation processes. Thanks to Princecomsy and muniz for providing odin and the firmware files for this version

As long as you had att unlock the phone you are fine
I bought it "factory unlocked" so I'm not sure who did it. What would happen if att didn't unlock it?
Please help me understand
I see some forums on this site that says, " G930UUEU2APEH flashes to g930a" then you have this post that says G930U firmware on SM-G930A. It seems as if one is saying to take the G930U and go to G930A and the other saying G930A and go to G930U. I thought the advantage is to go to the U and get off the A. Please confirm if this is the case. Granted then if this is the case... then, what are the advantages of going to the U? From what I understand it gets rid of the bloatware, and makes it so you can tether?
Also once I go, are there any negative reasons for me not to go from A to U?
Does this give me the current version of Nougat?
Do I get the upgrades from AT&T to keep up with future version of Nougat?
Also before proceeding to the U version MUST I first ROOT my phone?
Also MUST my phone be UNLOCKED?
Thanks in advance,

Yes to both

None, unless you like the ATT bloat.

Gives you the latest version of the U firmware

No, you will get the U OTAs from now on.

Root is not required

Not required

T-Mobile Version VS Unlocked

Yes it does. I've been reading that it doesn't have Carrier aggregation/ mimo/ qam stuff. Do you know if t-mobile gets an os update first or does the unlocked get it first? Just trying to see which is best.

I have an Unlocked S8 Plus on T-Mo. Yes, WiFi calling works out of the box.
I've not heard a definitive answer about the MIMO or QUAM 256 (I think that is what it's called?). I know if you flash T-Mo software, it all works, but I dont know 100% if the LATE advanced stuff works on the unlocked firmware.
I will probably switch to the T-Mo software personally, since I live in one of the LATE Advanced trifecta areas, and honestly the T-Mo firmware is bloat free. The only thing they add is the T-Mobile app, the Device Unlock app, and a T-Mobile boot screen/sound.
If you don't want the T mobile apps/bloat flash the The XAA AP, XAA BL, and the TMO CSC. you can flash either the XAA or TMO CP(doesn't matter). you will have the unlocked firmware with no carrier apps baked in and still have the TMO features like wifi calling, RCS video calling and advanced messaging. will also have the TMO dialer instead of the unlocked dialer app. you will however have the TMO boot up splash screen. works, looks, acts just like a stock t mobile device minus the stupid t mobile apps. if you flash the TMO AP or USERDATA files, you will get the TMO apps. when both XAA and TMO updates are both released, you can then reflash the latest files together in the same sequence above per future software updates

Looking for v6 bootloader firmware for 965U (at&t)

Also need userdata, apparently. I'm new to flashing stock stuff.
I'm going to ask the same question, as I just noticed this release. I'm using an AT&T branded (and locked) S9+ on Cricket, and apparently, I will not be receiving OTA updates... When the files are available, I hope someone posts here. Thanks!

When you open the >firmware page< and select your region and then your firmware version, there is a short instruction.
Correction: I want to flash the U.S firmware (w/U.S lte bands) onto my international version. No PC access so I want to use KINGROOT!

If they differ in hardware, don't even try.
They are the same.
In general, US versions have support for different radio bands than the international versions. If you upload the US firmware to the international version, you may lose not only gsm radio support, but also WiFi.
Try looking for a method to activate the US band in the current firmware. This is the only safe method.
Once again thank you for the your help! But as you might know they're saying this phone will be no good after Verizon shuts down it's 3G.I already switched from AT&T to Verizon earlier this year. I was told I can just do what I was asking but if you know of any way possible I can save my phone? I know it needs band 14 for AT&T. I already did the apn thing but it's not enough. They still read it as 3G. This phone has extreme sentimental value to me.
