Instructions for flashing H2OS Marshmallow ROMs:
1. Flash the above zip. (It does not matter if you are using TWRP 2.8.7.0 or TWRP 3.0.0 or CM13 or CM12 or OOS)
2. Phone will reboot into new recovery. Do a wipe data/factory reset.
3. Flash the ROM zip (Get H2OS Marshmallow based ROMs from their respective threads, eg. Skydragon H2OS, Phoenix ROM,etc.) and done!
Flash this zip in recovery and all preparations for installing Marshmallow H2OS ROMs will be made and you will be booted into the new TWRP3 automatically.
Flashing this will also fix various problems people experience with H2OS based Marshmallow ROMs like stuck on OP logo, recovery not booting, camera or sensors not working, etc.
Working fine! Please test and report if something is broken. Thanks
This build works with HydrogenOS Marshmallow beta build!
It also has additional backup and restore support for firmware (tz,modem, aboot, hyp, etc.)
This zip is not for Lollipop/CM12/CM13.

How to revert back to Lollipop
1. Flash this in TWRP: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759880816
2. Do a data wipe
3. Restore nandroid or flash Lollipop ROMs
Screenshots by @Spannaa

After flashing the zip and rebooting recovery, TWRP was still 2.8.7.0 from kingmercians h2os.
Extracted recovery(mm).img from the zip, flashed this, rebooted recovery and it worked this time.
Nice, orange theme and lots of backup options!
Cheers ?

Will this work with kingmericans h2os builds..
By using this we don't need to flash the revert zip files provided by kstarz...??
We just need to flash firmware n ROM and then we are good to go right??

Also is this hydrogen specific twrp or it can be used with oxygen and other cm ROMs as well...?

I tried to flash this on OxygenOS 2.2.0 rooted, with TWRP. It says that the procedure is sucessfull, but if I reboot the recovery I'm still on TWRP v2.8.7.0
PS: Sorry for my bad english

Weird, I flashed like you said, try to reboot into recovery from the recovery, and it put my phone into fastboot mode...
Edit: But the official TWRP works...

Same for me, official 3.0 is working, with this recovery I'm not able to boot into recovery.
Edit: Nevermind Spannaa, just installed the kingmercians 6.0.1 and it works!

Hi @philipped346 !
Thanks! I'm using MultiROM, which version should I download: recovery or fastboot?
Hello, recovery .

WARNING! I'VE TRIED TO FLASH THIS TWICE, a older build and one of the latest. Both times it completely erased EVERYTHING on my phone. I downloaded one one for recovery, wiped system, data, cache and flashed. It times out with unknown something than EVERY partition has to be formatted to a different format then back to EXT4 for me to be able to flash anything else.. maybe it's just my bad luck but are there any steps besides wiping and flashing? (Make a backup of everything first people)

I think it is beceause the .zip files are not signed.
If you want FFos as primary OS, you should flash it via fastboot.
Might be very nice of you to add something like "this isn't to be flashed via recovery like normal ROM unless using MULTIROOOOOOM" to OP now that you're aware, unless there's a way to sign these

updating nightlies and changelog
Is there away to update to the newest nightly build without deleting the previous version.
I am using multirom.
And is there a changelog somewhere for each nightly build?

The only way I know to update without deleting the previous version is to flash FFos as primary rom and flash updates via recovery.
If you want daily changelog, you can read code commits : https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/commits/master
But it's not easy to understand.
Or you have global changelogs links in the first post.

Yes thats fine, simply backup your current ROM in TWRP, then I would wipe and install the new ROM for best results, Try with out wiping first to see if it upgrades ok.

I would recommend not flashing the stock recovery, but it would be a good idea to flash bootloader and radio as well.
Sorry for a potentially dumb question, but is this only for those using Fi? Or will it activate under att just fine?
Can I flash this stuff on a Sprint enabled Nexus 6? And still use the Sprint network.

I assume so yes. I had been testing it on my international Nexus 6 and it connected with all my APN settings with out any issue. Just back up your current ROM first, before you flash., then you can simply restore backup if there are any issues.

Backup-Restore function working fine so far, only issue I am seeing is phone is heating up pretty faster than before while backing up in compression mode.
Another minor thing is that earlier when entering recovery mode a purple light used to blink, now its missing.

And I was afraid there would be no 3.2.1 for this device;

Weird. Try using flash tool to fastboot the image if the flashable zip doesn't work for you.
Updated from TWRP, backup/restore works, no problems so far apart from it needs more than a minute till TWRP GUI appears after boot. Thanks for update.
Do you use the stock kernel? I installed the recovery built by oshmoun in the omnirom thread. It uses the aosp kernel. It starts faster, has a better sdcard naming and can flash oem images. Maybe you could try this kernel.
I use stock kernel (Pexorom 4.5) so this may be the reason for the delay.
I mean the kernel used with the recovery, not the rom kernel.

This is what i did. Download img, place file on phone. Download twrp app, pick choose a file, browse to recovery.img, flash. Power off, boot to recovery = win.
Reboot to system, retry installing new update = great success.

Sorry, I didn't get it... kernels everywhere.

Same result, whether fastboot or flashtool, display is dead.
Certainly missed ODM LOIRE v12, v11 is installed.
Not really sure is the latest bootloader.
Does restoring a backup change the bootloader as well?
Edit: Solved: the answer is 'yes'.
3.2.1 does not work @7.1.2 restore because of outdated bootloader.

I use stock kernel (Pexorom 4.5) so this may be the reason for the delay.

Moved to XGEN ROM and now TWRP starts without delay. :good:

What I do not understand, maybe bootloader or encryption, but why is 3.2.1 not backwards compatible on Suzu?
Is Omni 7.1.2 kernel (more I have not tried) or not current boot loader the reason?

I'm glad that you finally managed to crack this damn decryption. I felt really bad with my broken promise of delivering the working build. I'm sorry, guys. @Chippa_a congratulations on your hard work

How can i do this?
How do I revert back to Mi 5x MIUI? I flashed it normally but then I get no wifi and no signal. Thankfuly I was able to reinstall the Mi A1 rom and everything works, but I would still like to go back to MIUI. Can you help me do that?
Hi! First of all I wanted to thank you for your work, I managed to install latest Mi A1 PE without any problem and perfectly running!
Second, is there any way to update the software without clean flashing and repeating the whole procedure? Like idk, dirty flashing updated boot and system?
Anyway, thank you again!

No, you only can install Ported Kernel from A1 (Telegram).
Also, install Mi A1 Modem.img to solve sound problem.
Hi, how can I revert this process? I don't have the efs, modem and persist backup anymore.
Well I just bricked my phone
If i want to back to stock rom, do i just flash the stock rom via fastboot?
