6.Save file and pack back
Run "bootimg.exe --repack-bootimg" in cmd line.
7. Turn on debug mode first, then boot 6P into bootloader.
Run "fastboot flash boot boot.img " in cmd line.
8. Reboot and the option in Miracast is on.

Has anyone else tried this yet?
Also, you should probably indicate whether this trips safetynet and that you need to unlock your bootloader to be able to flash images as well as whether or not you can relock after flashing this

This is probably the answer that im looking for as well. Anyone else tried this and does this trip safetynet? I cannot root my device because I'm using a corporate email client which will not work if detects a root/modified device, but at the same time I need my miracast badly.

will this work for MHC19Q?? has any one tried the same??? kindly update guys

Very dumb on Google side to have the device certified for miracast, with latest build and build.prop tweak the connection always gets stuck at connecting

So is this disabled for the same reason Amazon will no longer sell Chromecasts? It'd be nice to mirror to the one Firestick in my house, but I'll probably just end up replacing it with a other Chromestick soon enough. Couple things the Fire Stick does better but overall the Chromecast is better in my opinion.

Don't you need an internet connection for Chromecast?

You can hook it up to phone via hotspot

Yes, you do. That's a big plus to using Miracast. I use a Miracast device to cast to my Pioneer stereo in my truck, and am often outside of a data signal. So Chromecast would not work for me.

[MOD][Xposed][4.3] Fitbit Sync on all devices running 4.3

This Xposed mod allows Bluetooth 4 synchronisation with Fitbit trackers on all devices running Android 4.3 by patching the device detection.
Special thanks to dimfish for finding out how to patch the device detection.
Please remember to switch off "Background sync" in Fitbit app due to the 48 h problem mentioned here. Seems that the BT libraries on Google and hTC and other devices except Samsung are incomplete or have a bug, which causes the tracker battery to drain when it becomes undiscoverable.

So I installed the module and activated it in Xposed. Rebooted and downloaded fitbit from the play store but it still doesn't allow me to sync. I went to dimfish and downloaded the app and it works but I don't think I need the module to use that one. I'm on a d2tmo on cm 11

Hi, thanks a lot for your module, the Flex finally syncs with my Android device (Nexus 5). Just a question, how can I disable "Backgound sync"? I don't see such an option in the Fitbit app (1.8.2). Maybe you mean the "Use bluetooth" option under "Devices" menu?

Fitbit has an APK that does not require anything special such as Exposed.
The beta users have been testing them for a few weeks, and seems like it works fine with 4.4. However, I had a battery drain issue with 4.3.

Screen Mirroring or Throw not working

I've recently got the Z4 tablet and I'm having problems with wirelessly displaying content on the TV. When I try to throw or mirror the screen, I get an error that device is not HDCP compliant. I'm using Microsoft Wireless Adapter and it works with everything else other than the Z4 tablet.
Is there any work around or fix for that?
Same here!
Every other device works with my Sammy F6500 just not the Z4 Tab. Same error like OP
Has it anything to do with unlocked Bootloader and root? Or is the OP stock?
Hope anyone has an idea

I think I'm gonna go the splitter route as I don't see much need of getting root on the tablet as there is no development for it.

It works? I tried but it still disconnects after the tv says miracast signal detection and then the tablet says tv dont support hdcp...... Weird that a note 10.1 also can't connect but i doubt there would be something wrong with the tv.. Too bad i don't have any unrooted stock devices to test with. Im running stock mm rooted and unlocked BL on the z4 tab btw
Bought the recommended HDMI splitter and same issue :'(. Tablet tries to connect it for a while and after that just throws the dreaded HDCP error.
Finally, got it working with Chromecast. Mirroring works without any issue !!

[APP]NavExplorer? Easy Android WiFi & Bluetooth File Transfer App (Auto Compression)

[APP]NavExplorer? Easy Android WiFi & Bluetooth File Transfer App (Auto Compression)
I'm announcing an easy file transfer and manager app. The app communicated directly over you local network so no need to use the usual slow methods. The app automatically communicates with your connected wear device to get the information it needs to transfer files. It also now supports Bluetooth
3/27/18
Just added root support for beta users. Give it a shot! You can not edit directly from the mobile app yet, but I am working on implementing that. Also I would appreciate any developers help. Many users are having problems using the app to transfer files like their watch doesn't have permissions. If you are running into this and think you can help or know why this might be happening, let me know. You can't open the app without granting permissions, so I don't think this is the issue.
11/15/18
Added auto-compression feature. See post for this date for the details.
Here is a video demonstrating the app:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEXXDW35hv0&feature=youtu.be
Download the app here:

There are still a lot of features I would like to add but you should still be able to transfer files fine.

Were you ever able to transfer files with the app? When it looses connection, could you verify that wifi is still connected directly to the watch and the bluetooth is not causing it to disconnect?

You definitely need the watch app for it to work. The play store shows the LG G Watch as unsupported probably because the app requires a direct WiFi connection to transfer files. I don't have an LG G Watch myself so I don't know if it has the hardware or not but from what I've found it doesn't. If you do, you could definitely try installing the APK yourself. sorry for the confusion.

General S906E OneUI 5 Discussion

Anyone from our friends in India who can capture the link of the beta update for S906E? Thanks guys!
Why is so hard to get a link of Indian version?
I don't really know. Maybe there are less people who got s22+. Rn we only have s906B. Hopefully someone with s906E will get the link and share it with us.
I just bought S22 plus. And yes not too many buy Samsung flagships here bcoz of atrocious pricing. People just go for iPhones, which is ironic since iPhones are even over priced.
I'm on OneUI 5.0 beta.
What can I do?
We have Dual Sim tho

How to capture the update.zip file to share with other people:

2. Open HTTP Canary app
3. Start the update by pressing "download" and don't pause it
4. Go back to canary app and start it and it will grab the link for you

Its a ca certificate file located in installed folder or something which I'm unable to access.
Omg dude I'm sorry.
I already installed Beta and now it shows you are up to date. How tp capture it then?
Awww. That's too bad. Only options are reverting to 4.0 then enroll back to beta to start the update again. Or capture the link on the next update. Anyway thanks bro. I'm happy to know someone has an s22+ who's willing to share the link.
Everyday I opened S22 plus Thread on Xda but never opened your thread. I thought someone from India must be asking a random question about update and I didnt open.
Dam I just installed this update like 5 hours ago.
So just to be clear, if I get beta 2 update and capture it, will it work for you?
And This capturing process is tedious. I'm not even sure If I've set it up correctly and it seems like only one shot at capturing.
In the above image it still says ca certf not installed in blue heading.

same problem, i canot connect with samsung tivi. but use youtube is normal
Go to settings -> connected devices -> connection preferences -> cast.
You'll see your TV. If you are connected to live tv or set top box, go to home and you'll be able to connect. And do ensure your TV is capable for casting.

Go to settings -> connected devices -> connection preferences -> cast.
You'll see your TV. If you are connected to live tv or set top box, go to home and you'll be able to connect. And do ensure your TV is capable for casting. View attachment 5711649

Dude this is the first screen you see if you want to cast. Don't you think I already tried the basic method and this is why I'm here asking?

We'll, you didn't mention any steps you have tried. So do expect basic troubleshooting answers from people who are trying to help. If you don't want to see these answers, then post all step by step troubleshooting steps you have taken and don't miss any step. Otherwise, nobody can help

But you didn't mention troubleshooting steps.. nevermind, I'll stop wasting your time and go back to people who actually need help.
I Need help i Just wanted you ti stop being arrogant. By the way the steps are.
1) quick settings toggle for mirror 2) not finding TV 3) go to the screen of your screenshot 4) still finding nothing.
You need to use a Chromecast dongle if you want to cast direclty to your TV.
The cast from Youtube works differently since its based on the App installed on the TV.
